Not great is it

Unreal album. Live they are even better

Used to love this album when it came out. I over played it and now I think Matt Bellamys voice is just too clean for my taste 19/20 years later. It's a savage guitar album though.

10/10 one of the most impactful album from my youth. The attitude of the vocals, the defining guitar sound and funky groovy bass making a unique sound never before or since captured

Not great and I really wanted to like it

One of the greatest rock albums of my childhood and generation. It's a new sound for RHCP moving away from the raw funk sound to something for fully formed. Also one of Rick Rubins best albums

Great rock and blues guitar album and fun

Never heard this album and only heard one song before - this was epic! Sounds like it could have been produced yesterday. Absolutely fascinating that he was not famous in his life, and did into performing live and I'm interested to research the reasons!

Never a fan of Iggy. Tried again, still not a massive fan. But appreciate the raw, puck attitude of this rock icon.

Lovely album. First time ever listening to a samba album. Plus it was summer here when listening which helped!

What a cool sound. These guys were making serious inroads and forging the way for stoner rock.

Orginally I said 'Not my fav talking heads album.' and gave it a 3 star. But ive listened to several of the tracks now multiple time and the album in full now twice. This is where a single listen format sometimes falls short. Some album are growers - like some of my favour albums today. I liked them originally but grew to love them. Talking Heads are so experimental it can take time to ' get it'. Upgrade from a 3 to 4.

Can't stand the monkees

Never listened to a steely Dan album but this was far out! Strong jazz influences was not what I was expecting and a lovely interesting surprise. Still don't love the singers voice but have a new appreciation for the band

One good song 'Up with people' the rest is nice but not great.

That was a sick album! Haven't ever listened to a full Young album and love it! Bluey and folky with a rock riff every now again. Enjoyed the guitar playing throughout and the slide and banjo rocked

A soundtrack to my teenage years. Thank you for making me listen to this from start to finish. It has been a while and sound like just where I left it off 10/10

Good fun, raw punk album

Weird and wonderful

That was a seriously long album. Which was unexpected! Especially for 1966! Some wonderful songs. Song beautiful story telling and some songs a little too long lol Type of album you would want as a record to through on and get lost in it for an hour and 15 mins

This is zeppelin branching out into so many different genres. It took a while for me to embrace this given my love and adoration for this classic rock sound. But by the end of the album I was loving their experimentation and prog rock feel.

I just can't stand ELO. Not sure why so much. Something about it is corny.

Bitta fun but also a bit annoying

I've just learnt a new musical genre called 'dream pop' and these guys pioneered it. And it's as dreamy as it sounds. Really interesting album and sound. Originally I couldn't believe that I was listening to the remastered version because it still sounded like muck. But after a couple of tracks I was leaning into it. Enjoyed that listen

this album is actually about women empowerment in a male dominated industry. Christina an exec producer and lyrics that resonated with me in a different way than in 2000s. Maybe that's thanks to my own now understanding as a 30 plus year old man. But thank you for letting me listen to his album through a new perspective

This isn't punk. This jazzy, ska, reggae, rock n roll - with punk attitude

A couple great songs but I feel it doesn't sound great today and a little uncool

This sounds is so nostalgic for me. I bought it and had to scribble out the parental advisory sticker so my parents wouldn't catch wind I listening to such profanity. This album aligned with my teenage angst the same way nu metal bands and grunge bands did. It was powerful and spoke to me. I'm grateful for this album giving me an avenue to express myself.

Love that one day you're listening to a punk rock album album, next thing Latina samba album. Enjoyed but also I had had enough of it by the time it finished

This was exquisite from start to finish. First record I've played back to back instantly. I don't know jazz or the history of jazz. But what I know is how it made me feel. And it was warm, rich, sad, happy, beautiful and real.

Beautiful buttery soulful jams. Great instrumental sections and sexy vocals.

This was an interesting album. Ebs and flows , some good, some not to good. More folk sounding with chugging rock guitar solos.

Listened to it while having a roast dinner, it was nice but can't really remember it

Wow this was cool. Sick guitar lovely jazzy feel and saxophone - horrible mixing in some party and vocals aren't great.

Hmmmm didn't love

Unbelievably good album. This is more than a metal album but an education of how trash metal became groove and melodic while keeping the trash hard core energy

It's been 10 years since I've listened to this. And it's got better with age. 5/5 what a brilliant selection of covers. Reinventing the meat puppets and doing Bowie in a truly iconic and unique manner.

As strange and boring as expected

Arrived in Madeira on holiday. Over looking the sea with lush mountains in the background and this album coupled with a glass of red Portuguese wine was fantastic!

Was looking forward to giving my first country album a whirl....turns out an album of country music is just as made as a single!

Started off not loving, thinking this was going to be another unoriginal country album but as it progressed got more into it.

Give it a 4

Gotta be a 4 star - these might be wedding songs but they are still great songs today

I used to think it would be cool out on the vast planes as a cowboy....but not if they are playing this!

this is a seriously epic album. The sheer length and experimental aspect is fascinating and tantalising as well as continuing to define a sound that would live on through rock and roll history

Yeah okay, nice in the most part but a tad bit boring hence the 3

Didn't love it

I highly suspect there is something I'm not getting but I struggled with the lack of melody, or perhaps I just was struggling to find it. Likely need to give it another listen or two
