Teen Dream
Beach HouseGreat.
Great.
Masterpiece.
Boring.
Meh
Green onions is a famous original composition. The rest of the album is covers of famous songs played at the organ, meh.
Like the sample based songs (chipmunk style). Didnβt like synth based songs.
Not great retro-rock. Prefer much more Tame Impala and Motorpsycho.
Nice mix of instrumental jazz tracks and pop songs. Not a big fan of brass in general, but good stuff.
This clearly inspired Daft Punk and the likes. Great upbeat disco, bouncy bass lines, funky guitar riffs.
Weird mixed feelings about this one.
A bit too pop to my taste.
Dope lyrics, funky music.
Heavy synth and spoken voice, not fitting well Leonard Cohen. I prefer much more the original classic Leonard Cohen style.
Beatles meets Beach Boys. Similar vocalisation, similar arrangements. Just not convinced that the compositions are as good though.
Not bad, but really not my cup of tea.
Green onions is a famous original composition. The rest of the album is covers of famous songs played at the organ, meh.
It doesnβt sound bad, but I really donβt like this style of music.
Since I Left You is a masterpiece. The rest of the album is not really memorable.
Masterpiece.
Not necessarily of type of music Iβm into, but I get a good feeling about it and will probably re-listen to it.
Not as good as I expected it to be.
One song composed by Bobby Womack which is good, the rest gives me zero emotions.
Overrated?
Aged badly, bad taste?
Not a big fan.
Really good, I didn't think I would enjoy this album as much.
Not as memorable as kind of blue or love supreme, but nice for sure.
Weird good.
Really nice blend of classic bossa nova and modern instrumentation.
Not sure if itβs my favorite album of theirs, but solid.
Very enjoyable. Some caricatural style metal, but also some surprisingly nice riffs. Up there with master of puppets.
A weird hodgepodge, with some beautiful and some pretty bad taste stuff.
Pretty good.
Meh, I don't really get it.
Darn good album.
Boring.
Bowie.
Not bad but not amazing.
Itβs really not that bad, but for some reason I really donβt enjoy it.
Original but not amazing.
Meh
Seems very good. Definitely worth another listen.
Not my style, but well done for sure.
This album is very loud and not very subtle. Found other better stuff albums him though.
I only knew the disco Bee Gees, but this is surprisingly good.
Meh
Not very subtle.
Not his best album.
Nice voice and delivery. The beats did not age well.
Many great songs. Highly energetic.
Alright.
Finding this really boring.
Some nice songs, it sounds good, not super enjoyable though.
Sounds pretty good and original, but a bit repetitive.
Masterpiece.
Poppy and grungy. All right.
Pretty ok.
More poppy and less punk than expected.
Not interesting.
Sounds pretty original.
Classic R&B with a modern touch.
Not bad, but it doesnβt work for me.
I knew Lonely Boy, now Iβm really curious about this band.
Weird hodgepodge of drum and bass with easy listening, with voice samples to not get bored, meh.
It sounds almost comical.
Very nice beats, canβt believe I never listened to this band.
Very clichΓ© but not bad.
I thought I would like it more since I like this style of music and this is their most famous album, but not really unfortunately.
I was expecting more polyrhythms, but overall itβs quite nice.
Surprisingly nice and modern for its time.
Well crafted but extremely annoying.
Oh man, this thing aged badly.
Ace.
Didnβt know Tim Buckley and itβs very good.
I just canβt stand it.
Masterpiece.
Yeah I dunno.
Not bad but is there anything remarkable?
Bad pre-grunge?
Some good songs, some less interesting.
Interesting but not really enjoyable.
Bad taste poppy electro.
Pretty alright. Still subpar to other grunge or shoegazing bands.
Not sure why but I find zero pleasure listening to this.
Pretty good.
Didnβt listen to this album due to cliche poppy songs, but itβs pretty good. Sounds very pretentious but still.
Surprisingly good.
Quite nice folk album.
Christian country music, not super interesting musically.
Very good.
Musically good but I hate it.
Really not a big fan of this style of music. Reminds me of Tom Waitts.
I really like David Bowie but I didnβt love this album.
I never listened to their first album but it sounds pretty cool.
Not bad, but very repetitive.
Great.
Very nice, although not as good as some Wu Tang members solo albums.
Not horrible bad taste, but not amazing neither.
Not super interesting.
Great album throughout.
Nostalgia maybe? There are some really good tracks in there.
Basic drum patterns and whiny voice is really not my thing.
Didnβt enjoy this one that much, but I feel I might enjoy it more with time.
Better than what I had heard from him.
Not a style I enjoy listening to, but not that bad.
Very very nice, need to listen to it again.
Meh, emo rock maybe?
For a style of music I like, this was really not enjoyable.
A personal favorite.
Amazing songwriting and interpretation.
I guess it's influential industrial punk, but it's not enjoyable nor interesting to me.
A pioneer, but not very relevant anymore.
Masterpiece.
I probably never listened to this album fully before. It's pretty good, but not as good as I hoped.
Pretty cool album, but not sure I'll get back to it.
I remember liking their first album, but I don't like this one.
Best discovery so far. Sounds like Damon Albarn from Blur.
An all time favorite of mine.
Nice, although I don't particularly enjoy this style.
I thought of them as a one hit wonder, but it's actually a very nice album.
Not his best album in my opinion.
Best artist and album discover so far. Really really nice.
