HELLYEAH
HELLYEAHI think the list really fails to explore metal and the inclusion of awful things like this does not help.

I submitted this. Snarky Puppy is one of my favorite bands and have seen them live twice. I probably like their album Immigrance more and someone told me they would have submitted Sylva. I thought maybe this one is easier to get into and it seems like how most fans get into the band. I thought the original list was lacking modern jazz so it made sense to submit it. I could never get into a lot of older jazz albums and find Snarky Puppy to be a lot more fun. They have such catchy melodies, incorporating many instruments, and taking inspiration from around the world. The album dips in the middle with Jambone, Kite, and Outlier, especially Kite. That is why I give it a 4.
This is the kind of stuff I was expecting to get more of from the original list. Thank you for recommending this!
This was fun. Although, not speaking French probably hindered further enjoyment. The songs blended together and the music fell in the background while listening. The album felt very long. But thank you for submitting this! I'm not sure I've heard French punk before. This is what the list should be about!
Some parts were fun and some were kind of stupid. But some of the lesser parts were also endearing in a way. I also loved the genre fusions. I think there should be more weird stuff on the list. I'd rather listen to something like this than the same ol' that fills over half of the original list.
The lyrics are so cringey. The composition is not interesting and all seems so similar.
I enjoyed this. I will listen to this again at some point and might add it to my regular rotation. Although, I didn't find it groundbreaking and I think there's already plenty of albums like this on the list.
I found this kind of cheesy and annoying.

I didn't enjoy a single song but thanks for recommending it. I want more of the weird recs.
I'm sorry. I don't get it. It's all so repetitive. If there was more variety I would be more into it.
This band gets a lot of respect from me for the amount of albums they put out in a short amount of time. And it seems people respect the quality. I've tried listening to a few albums, and this one I've tried a few times. However, the songs still seem bland and very similar to each other.
I didn't like the voice and most of the songs were too similar.
I'm kind of surprised to see this band on here. I've heard a couple songs on here before, plus a few others, and they never sounded like anything special. This listen confirmed that for me.
I found Roger's screaming very irritating.
I enjoyed it. Thanks for the non-English rec!
This was beautiful! I was hoping to hear more music that wasn't from the US or UK, so thank you for submitting this one!
Even though I'm giving this a four, there's way too much classic rock on the list already, I wouldn't have included this.
I know how missed this album is on the original list, but I never cared for their sound. And a lot of the songs here seem repetitive to me.
Interesting concept behind the lyrics but otherwise falls pretty flat to me.
So boring. Never heard anything I liked by this artist. This would've been a two but the autotune stuff was just dreadful.
This was very bland. I've heard much better things from Khruangbin but I don't know about full albums.
This is the kind of stuff I was expecting to get more of from the original list. Thank you for recommending this!
Very bland and annoying voice.

This was great! I would vote for this one being included in the real list.
So bland. Blending in with a lot of user submitted bland albums.
Good to see Mountain Goats here but I've never been too interested in this album.
I found this so annoying.
I like some of her songs but everything on here sounded the same to me.
It's not really my thing but it seems well done and unique enough.
I was prepared to hate this. With the bedazzled lettering on the cover and the fact that she looks 15 on the cover, even though she was 27 when this came out. But I actually enjoyed it.
It's always interesting when a band pops up but not the album that I would think or my favorite of theirs. My favorite has always been Mutilated Defeated. I think it has a very unique sound and not a lot of filler, so worthy of the list but maybe not to the same caliber as other albums. But I thought a lot of fans much prefer Carrion Crawler/ The Dream. I've also seen this band live twice. The first time they had two drummers playing mostly the same part in sync. One of my coolest concert experiences, I think. Anyway, I thought this live album was ok but probably biased. I find the original songs and the albums they come from have different sounds to them, but they sound more similar here, understandably. Maybe that is an appeal.
I'm a fan of funky jazz stuff but I could never really get into this band. This live album was fun though. For years I have been listening to a downloaded live version of Dean Town. I had no idea it was from a live album.
I've heard this album before and think the same thing now as before. There's potential here but the generic droning sound is very bleh.
I enjoyed this. But I don't think this is unique or special enough to really be on this list (which I don't factor in my score.) I think my favorite track is Triumph, which is interesting because it's not one of the higher played tracks.
I'm surprised this or Frizzle Fry is not on the original list.
This one was a surprise. I listened to this one a lot a long time ago. I could never get into anything else by them even though it always seemed like their newer stuff was more popular. I've always loved the vibe of the whole album. The songs go so well together. I'm not sure the album is that groundbreaking but I think the sound is a little unique. No real dud on the album.
Like a lot of people are saying, this really could've been included in the original list. But I'm glad the user submitted list exists for this reason. Of course, I've heard Lady Marmalade but had no idea who the artist was. It's also crazy how little plays the rest of the album has on Spotify.
I audibly gasped when I saw this one come up. Although I've always thought Downward is Heavenward is a better album. I've enjoyed their unique sound and nerdy lyrics.
I don't particularly dislike Springsteen but there already was too many of his albums on this list. There also didn't seem to be anything special about this live album.
I love TMBG but this one felt a little boring.
It was pretty good but I doubt I would listen to it again. I also don't think this list needed any more Bjork. It baffles me why some people think this lists needs more and more of the same artists. There are plenty of underappreciated artists and albums out there that are doing some innovative things.
This was pretty interesting. Not sure I'll listen to it again though.
I think the list really fails to explore metal and the inclusion of awful things like this does not help.
I could not stand this.
I think this should be in the original list and I'm not really a fan of the genre.

But thank you for submitting this! I'm not sure I've heard French punk before. This is what the list should be about!
This one had to grow on me a little bit. Even though this style is right up my alley, I thought it was pretty boring at first. I actually started liking the last two songs, which interestingly have less plays. I went back and listened to a couple previous songs. However, there's a lot of other bands from this time period. Not sure this one is really that essential.
I enjoyed this. Seems like something that could be on the list.
I think Modest Mouse really should've been on the original list. I think they were bigger and sound more unique than some other things from this time period. Although, I've always preferred We were dead before the ship even sank. This one feels too long.
Sounds cool but it's all too similar.
I absolutely adore this album. Thank you for adding this one. I wouldn't take out a song.
Very bland. Most of the songs sound the same. Nothing special about this one besides getting a lot of plays.
I never enjoyed Daft Punk. Partly due to overplaying, but I find their hits annoying. But I thought this one was better than "Homework." And I can't deny the influence and innovation.
I never got the hype with this artist.
I guess I'm biased on this album. I'm so sick of Daft Punk. And a live album. This did not sound appealing at all to me.
This kept falling in the background and I would forget I was listening to it. But I still enjoyed it.
This is the epitome of a concert movie. I could even replace this with one of the studio albums on the regular list. And since there's live albums on the list, this deserves a spot. When I first watched this, I liked some Talking Heads hits, but wouldn't call myself a fan, and I was absolutely hooked through the whole movie.
My favorite part was the band name. Did not care for the album. Their sound got tiring.
I don't know how I feel about my favorite decade being 2010 according to this generator. This album sounded so 2010 to me. So freaking boring!
I thought Overture was interesting. But then the rest of album fell pretty flat. I didn't like the vocals. But still a unique album. I felt like I couldn't give it a 2.
Obviously I've heard the singles but otherwise I had never listened to this album before. I thought this fell pretty flat. I get this was huge in the 2000s but there wasn't anything exciting in this for me.
This was one of the hardest ones to get through from the user list.
Hell yeah! I was thinking about submitting this one, but I figured someone else would. I freaking love this album. Well executed concept album. Del, the rapper, is seriously underrated. I love several of his other tracks.
