Honestly disappointing. Not because I had high expectations, but because I didn’t want to call it trash and sound so subjective. In its defense I thought maybe I wasn’t in the right mood for it and therefore couldn’t enjoy it but it wasn’t great. I appreciate it that it was definitely a story.
Great album. Emotional throughout, happy to hear this
About what I expected. I’m not a Springsteen fan, I think his sound is the same across every song. It’s just one long Saturday night live track
Pretty good, upbeat album. Had a good time listening. Definitely not as good as freewheeling but I liked it.
Thought it was ok, didn’t realize one of the songs on here was one of my favorites. Definitely a different sound happy to listen but not something I’d seek out
It was ok, definitely a classic, just not for me
Wasn’t bad but not for me, pretty cool sound for the 1970s but seemed like a complete ripoff of jethro tull
I mean, a great album, red house and purple haze? Also May this be love was a great track, never heard it before
Didn’t realize this was the band that did epic, obvi a great song. I’m a big rock guy so I liked it but it wasn’t amazing. Glad I listened tho!
This album was AWESOME. Idk if it was all covers but reminded me how great of singer willie Nelson is. One of those albums I expected to like but excited to get through but i savored each song
Album was a classsic and even added a few songs to playlists
Was surprising, first half was awesome, thought it was a grunge album
Normally love Black Sabbath, obvi nothing beats paranoid but this album wasn’t the best the first half but really nailed it at the end. Almost like ozzys attempt at zeppelin??
Great album easy listening. A clasic
Ooooobviously aqualung kicks ass. This album is such a great story with such experimentation and sounds awesome
Idk, I can definitely appreciate this album but Frank ocean definitely has a sound and he really beats a dying horse with it.
This just isn’t my type of music but I’m also surprised this is on the list
Elvis Costello is BITCH MADE
This album kicked butt. Great sound from start to finish
Idk it was pretty good, at first the transitions really irritated me and literally almost made me throw up. But once it moves over it’s pretty dang good. I don’t think I appreciated it as much as I should because it was morning and I needed words not insutrmentals but I liked it
This album was sick! I feel like this is the sound so many artists in this time we’re trying to go for *cough cough* Elvis Costello…
Glad I got this one
This album was awesome. Got my morning started like a bat out of hell. After having listened to so many albums on this, you can really tell the difference between a good artist and a great artist
Just couldn’t do this one, not great. Could see it being good for the times when it came out. Coolest thing about it was I recognized this is where a Mac Miller sample came from
This was ok, was hoping it would get heavier, I feel like maybe I don’t understand this type of music.
Tears for fears is sick this album was great and a classic
Public enemy kicks ass. Didn’t know flavo flavor came from this group
Staaaanky, this album was great
I feel like Hanoi rocks is a classic band in legendary status. Maybe I wasn’t in the best mindset to listen to this but I wasn’t really into it. Seemed like a creative test almost
Obviously I got love for Ohio boys but the album was ok. Would love to know why this was on this list
Dear GOD was this bad. Just French guys taking rammstein and making it more primal. The assumption I’m taking with me into every one of these albums is “there has to be something here and if I don’t see it, I must not be gettting something” I’m willing to accept that but this was bad.
The monk is the man! This was a beauty
Album was interesting for sure. I would consider this a textbook album. Through you for a loop but still sounded great and something I needed
Made breakfast to it, it was early. Don’t see it as a “half to listen to” album
Not bad, would have to see if Patti came before allanis morisette because that’s all I heard in this
This was pretty good, sounded like a ripoff of another and I can’t think of now
Started out great, kinda faltered at the end but I enjoyed this. Perfect 3 stars
Great album, made me realize anything that doesn’t evoke an emotional reaction is a solid 3
Actually fuck this guy couldn’t stand this album
This album was great, just what I needed this morning
This one made me wonder what these bands did to be on here? Maybe they were the first with this sound and I’ve only heard copies and that’s all I know.
This booped right from the start
This was awesome. Not an r&b guy but this was too funky not to love
Tribe is always classic and timeless
Album kicks ass, loving bobby d
Very pleasant, sounded like disclosure inspo
This was great, had the classics on it
Yeah surprisingly loved this
III isn’t as good as some of the other albums but definitely classics on here
Noticed a jimmy hendrix element to it and when I looked it up king crimson was his favorite band of all time so you can hear the inspiration. Definitely will be listening to more of their albums
Van Halen? Come on. This album kicks ass and Panama is legendary
This was surprisingly great. Surprising just because I’d never heard of them and enjoyed this a lot
This was a pleasant change up. Also made me curious why ODB referred to Shaka Zulu in enter the 36 chambers
My jaw literally dropped hearing “by this river” listening to the album at first I was like I wish there was a feature that showed what other music this influenced but I heard it from never falling down. Pretty awesome
Running up that hill a classic
Best zeppelin album of all time. One of the true albums with only good songs front to back
Good to hear an album and be like I see what this influenced
This album was great jack white has an awesome voice
This album was awesome. Had some classics and reallly got me in a great mood. I think some of these songs could have ended earlier but that’s my only complaint
Surprisingly great, thought this was gonna be a musical or something or something composery.
Absolutely not this fucking sucked. It’s possible maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for this but dear god
Great tunage really enjoyed this
Surprisingly good. I think these guys are incredibly over rated but I’ve also not taken a ton of time to listen to them. I appreciated this
Not bad, has the hits but also makes you realize how hits can make a band so great
This was decently surprising, finished well
Yeah this kicked ass. Shaka Zulu take notes
This was ok, kinda sad boi, picked up at the end
I saw randy Newman and was like great can’t wait to suffer through this. Was totally wrong and thought it was awesome truthfully it comes from a bias of him singing about 2 places that are sentimental to me: cuyahoga and Dayton ohio
Ok, not my type of music. A couple redeemers
This was great, simple and enjoyable
This was surprisingly good. The album to the French revilution
This was awesome, love some good female angst
Love is one of the greatest.
Isaac hates kicks ass. Heard what buggie sampled
Classic there she goes. Overall the album was good tho. The other ones like this are usually one hitters but I enjoyed this through
Can’t get behind this guy. If you like musicals then this for you
It was whatever, just one of those things that sounds like the rest of the bands but I guess they were first to do it
This was pretty melancholy
Starts off great, obviously a hit, great melody
This was decent, they definitely shred
As usual, David Bowie blows
Good thing I didn’t miss this! Never listened to the whole album. Starts off not great but after wonderwall obviously gets way better
This album was such a good one to look back on, so good
I’m curious about this album. These aren’t original songs so what did this influence?
Eassily the best solo album of wu tang
This shaped up big st the end
Obviously a classic but not my thing. Sounds too generic
This was pretty awesome, I appreciated it
This was great! Obvi heading the first song was a realization but the rest of this album is awesome!
This was awesome. Never listened to them and pleasantly impressed
Catchy no doubt just feels cookie cutter
One of those albums where id like to see why it was on here. Seems almost beetlsey?
Definitely interesting, kinda good
This sounds like Van Halen inspiration
This was ok, expiremental maybe ?
This album was incredible. No slippers and added a few
This was ok, I always think the kinks are heavier
Pretty good but pretty weird
I don’t know what this was. It stressed me out
J5 is so good, that album is legendary
Van halen rules and ice cream man is a great song
So nice and chill, great sound
The tribe is king. Can I kick it is a classic
Duran kicks ass. Rio and wolf? Great
Otis Redding is the king, this is great
This started off great but didn’t really fulfill
Pretty good but not my thing. Was cool to read what he broke through to get where he is and what he’s done outside of that
Machine head rules and so does smoke on the water
Surprisingly good especially at the end
Blue orchid good but this is more folksy than I thiught
Absolute incredible album, a juggernaut
First song is great but the album is overall decent. I think I’d appreciate more if it was more my style
Some silver linings but also what is this
Need to read about what I don’t get about this
Wish I could do 3.5. I liked this but probably won’t listen again
I see what the dudes shooting for but musicals are already bad and with what seems to be a sorry attempt and masking low effort and something artistic, this is still just bad
Some good hits and local boys 151 was a great surprise
There are definitely better albums. Just a bit slow for me
Wouldn’t put in in albums to listen to in life
