I haven't listened to this album front to back in years. Very strong first half, but I kind of lose interest as the album progresses. There isn't any song I actively dislike, but Wake Me Up... just annoys me at this point due to the years of hearing it ambiently so much.

Not much of a country listener, and I really appreciate and respect Johnny Cash, but the songs really started blending together for me. The performances were undeniable, and he sounds great. I'll probably listen to some of these songs again, but probably not a full album listen.

The first half of this is acoustic, and I actually kind of liked it more than the previous Neil Young album I listened to.
The back half is more rock, and not too bad as well. So it turns out that I mostly hate Neil Young's 60s output (so far).
