My father hates this album because it was "overplayed" at the time of its release. "IT WAS EVERYWHERE. I COULDN'T ESCAPE," he said. So, as a teenager I avoided it... and I'm still pissed he ever told me this. I wanted to hate it because I wanted to be like my father, BUT I FUCKING LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

I wasn't sure what I was going to hear listening to this album, but it was just what I needed. I found my self bopping around the kitchen and closing my eyes to breathe in the sound. "I wouldn't trade one stupid decision for another five years of life."
