Coincedentally, I listened to this on a dark, gloomy day when it was pouring rain. It helped set the tone for the album, because man, this is bleak. A frustrating listen. A few of the songs are pretty good but most of them are quite awful and just sound like noise to me. This was really on the line between a 1 and a 2 for me, but ultimately it came down to a 1. The reason why is purely the lead singer, for the simple reason that he sounds like a teenager trying to act like a blues/rock/punk frontman and failing at it.
