1001 Albums Summary

First Album I’m rating. I’ve resisted listening to it for a long time and now it is time. Every Ghetto, Every City - Adding to my Playlist. Best song on the album. Intro - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t think I need to explain anything. Lost Ones - Not Adding to my Playlist. Not really my type of song. One of two songs I listened to before today. Ex-Factor - Adding to my Playlist. It draws on a little too long but I like this more than Lost Ones. To Zion - Not Adding to my Playlist. I didn’t like this song. Doo Wop (That Thing) - Adding to my Playlist. I really like this song. This id the other song I listened to. Superstar - Not Adding to my Playlist. I just don’t like the vocals all that much. Final Hour - Adding to my Playlist. This is a pretty good song. Not much else to say. When It Hurts So Bad - Not Adding to my Playlist. The vocals are kinda annoying. I Used to Love Him - Not Adding to my Playlist. About as good as Lost Ones. Love that opening but it gets worse and worse as the song goes on. Forgive Them Father - Not Adding to my Playlist. Her vocals are a little annoying. Nothing Even Matters - Not Adding to my Playlist. Very long and not in a good way. Everything is Everything - Not Adding to my Playlist. A bit better than Lost Ones. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill - Not Adding to my Playlist. It wasn’t that good in ny opinion. Can’t Take My Eyes Off You - Not Adding to my Playlist. The song is barely not good enough. Tell Him - Not Adding to my Playlist. Pretty bland. All in all I liked 4/16 songs. I thought the other songs were ok though and none were bad. It would’ve been a much better album if the songs were less drawn out. Also, what is wrong with Lauryn Hill? Was she always insane?

This is the 2nd album I’m rating and honestly I first heard about this album from Apple Music’s Top 100 Albums list. I’ve heard a lot of good things about her and now it is time to listen to her for the first time. All I Want - Not Adding to my Playlist. Her singing is annoying. The instrumentals are nice though. My Old Man - Not Adding to my Playlist. The way she sings is amazing and terrible at the same time. Instrumentals are still pretty good though. Little Green - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m sorry Joni Mitchell but I can’t get over this singing. Carey - Adding to my Playlist. This is much better. If the rest of the album goes on like this it’s a good album. Blue - Adding to my Playlist. Titular track is pretty good. California - Adding to my Playlist. I can see why this and Carey were the two singles from this album. This Flight Tonight - Not Adding to my Playlist. Her singing is pretty annoying in this song. I really like the instrumental by the way. That part around 1:55 is really nice. River - Not Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t that good. A Case of You - Adding to my Playlist. This is as good as Blue. The Last Time I Saw Richard - Adding to my Playlist. If she sung like this for the entire album it would’ve been much better. All in all I liked 5/10 songs. This album was pretty disappointing, I was expecting this to be much better than what it ended up being. About as disappointing as the first album I rated, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

This is the 3rd album I’m rating. I haven’t heard many Ray Charles songs but I did watch the movie with Jamie Foxx. It’ll be interesting to listen to a full album of his for the first time. Let the Good Times Roll - Adding to my Playlist. This is a sound that I’m very familiar with and I love it. It Had to be You - Adding to my Playlist. I have a feeling I’m going to love this album because I love classic pop. Alexander’s Ragtime Band - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’ve always liked this song but I’ve never heard this version. I prefer the version by the Andrews Sisters. This song is good but not as good as the Andrews Sisters version. Two Years of Torture - Adding to my Playlist. I’ve always loved big band jazz. When Your Lover Has Gone - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like the vocals in this song. Deed I Do - Adding to my Playlist. Not much to say other than, it’s jazz. Just for a Thrill - Adding to my Playlist. Side Two switching things up. I don’t like it as much as side one but it’s pretty good. You Won’t Let Me Go - Adding to my Playlist. So far side two is looking pretty good. Tell Me You’ll Wait For Me - Not Adding to my Playlist. The song is kinda boring. Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Cryin’ - Adding to my Playlist. Not a big fan of his singing in this song but the strings arr pretty good. Am I Blue - Not Adding to my Playlist. The singing is a bit annoying. Come Rain or Come Shine - Adding to my Playlist. The singing is better. All in all I liked 8/12 of the songs. This is pretty good all around and despite the fact I added four songs from each side I much prefer side one.

This is the 4th album I’m rating. I’ve heard the name of this album and Minutemen before but I have no idea what genre they are or anything about them. I think I can assume they are rock and good though but now it’s time to listen to the music. Anxious Mo-Fo - Not Adding to my Playlist. Please tell me the other 44 songs aren’t like this. I can’t do this. Theatre is the Life of You - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like this singing. Viet Nam - Not Adding to my Playlist. The opening is good but it just repeats for the entire song. I really don’t like this singing. Side Mike is probably better. Cohesion - Not Adding to my Playlist. Honestly best song so far. It’s Expected I’m Gone - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t think I’ve listened to punk before. I hate punk now. #1 Hit Song - Not Adding to my Playlist. Shitty lyrics but I think that was on purpose. Still shit. Two Beads at the End - Not Adding to my Playlist. With a different singer these songs would be much better. Do You Want New Wave or Do You Want The Truth? - Not Adding to my Playlist. Mike I don’t know your full name but you have to do better than this. Don’t Look Now - Not Adding to my Playlist. I never listened to the original but it can’t be worse than this. Shit From an Old Notebook - Not Adding to my Playlist. There has to be a better singer they could hire. Nature Without Man - Not Adding to my Playlist. If this album was nothing but instrumentals it would be a lot better. One Reporter’s Opinion - Not Adding to my Playlist. Please, Mike please. Political Song for Michael Jackson to Sing - Not Adding to my Playlist. I hate you Mike. Maybe Partying Will Help - Not Adding to my Playlist. I was hoping this album was like Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. It’s just shit the whole way through. Toadies - Not Adding to my Playlist. Get a ghostwriter. Please. Actually, stop singing. The songs would be fine as instrumentals. Retreat - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is a song. The Big Foist - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is very disappointing. Maybe I’m too big of a normie to appreciate this masterpiece. God Bows to Math - Not Adding to my Playlist. Who sings these songs? And why were they picked as the singer? Corona - Not Adding to my Playlist. Is this album better drunk? Do I need to be an alcoholic to appreciate the album? The Glory of Man - Not Adding to my Playlist. I hope they don’t butcher Dr. Wu because that’s a song I really like. Take 5, D - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is by far the worst album I’ve ever listened to. I hope 69 Love Songs is better than this. My Heart and the Real World - Not Adding to my Playlist. When is the next instrumental? History Lesson - Part II - Not Adding to my Playlist. The Roar of the Masses Could Be Farts - Not Adding to my Playlist. Now that I think about it I listened to Basket Case and liked it. Mr Robot’s Holy Orders - Not Adding to my Playlist. I got excited then I heard words. Now I’m depressed. West Germany - Not Adding to my Playlist. When the only punk song I had listened to was Basket Case I liked punk. Now I hate it. I really hate it. The Politics of Time - Not Adding to my Playlist. Underflow error. Greatest album of all time. Themselves - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t even know what to say anymore. Please Don’t Be Gentle With Me - Not Adding to my Playlist. It’s very short and has little lyrics. One of the best songs on the album. Nothing Indeed - Not Adding to my Playlist. This album is way too long for and not nearly good enough. No Exchange - Not Adding to my Playlist. Going into this I was worried I would listen to every album and have no 1-star albums. I’m not worried anymore. There Ain’t Shit on T.V. Tonight - Not Adding to my Playlist. How did people buy albums without listening to them first when shit like this exists. This Ain’t No Picnic - Not Adding to my Playlist. I can’t believe people paid to listen to this. Spillage - Not Adding to my Playlist. Chaff, you have a fun name, please have better music. Untitled Song for Latin America - Not Adding to my Playlist. Do you think I’ll ever date a hot punk girl and then I’ll have to pretend to like this album? Jesus and Tequila - Not Adding to my Playlist. I would have to really like that girl to pretend to like this album. June 16th - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t think I’m a good enough actor to pretend to like this album. This is so boring but it’s the second best song. Storm in My House - Not Adding to my Playlist. Chaff, you have terrible music taste. What are these songs? Martin’s Story - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m tired of this shit. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love - Not Adding to my Playlist. No way people like this. Dr. Wu - Not Adding to my Playlist. They butchered the song. What the fuck? Little Man with a Gun in His Hand - Not Adding to my Playlist. Wow, this sucks. The World According to Nouns - Not Adding to my Playlist. This has to be a joke being played on me. Love Dance - Not Adding to my Playlist. Ending the album the right way. No vocals. A perfect end to a terrible album. All in all I liked 0/45 of the songs. 80 minutes, 45 tracks, loved by hundreds, complete shit. I listened to this for 80 minutes and I don’t like any of the 45 songs. 45 songs. Forty. Five. Songs.

This is the 5th album I’m rating. I have not heard of this album until now but I’m excited to listen to a full country album for the first time. Coat of Many Colors - Adding to my Playlist. Not the biggest fan of the vocals but it’s good enough. Traveling Man - Not Adding to my Playlist. This had a bad second half. My Blue Tears - Adding to my Playlist. A little better than Coat of Many Colors. If I Lose My Mind - Not Adding to my Playlist. Some pretty cool lyrics but it’s pretty boring. The Mystery of the Mystery - Not Adding to my Playlist. The singing is a bit annoying. She Never Met a Man (She Didn’t Like) - Not Adding to my Playlist. I didn’t like the vocals. Early Morning Breeze - Adding to my Playlist. This song sounds really good and peaceful. Best song so far. The Way I See You - Not Adding to my Playlist. The instrumentals are a bit repetitive and annoying. Here I Am - Adding to my Playlist. Kinda boring but it’s fine. A Better Place to Live - Adding to my Playlist. The opening of this song made me smile. All in all I liked 5/10 of the songs. It was pretty good for my first ever country album and there are no songs that I actually dislike.

This is the 6th album I’m rating and I’ve only listened to Bang a Gong (Get It On). I’ve heard good things about the album and the song was pretty good. So I hope this’ll be good. Mambo Sun - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t think the singing style works very well with the instrumentals. Cosmic Dancer - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is not what I was expecting going into this album. Jeepster - Adding to my Playlist. Sounds pretty good. I like the singing style. Monolith - Adding to my Playlist. The opening is really good. I really like this. Lean Woman Blues - Adding to my Playlist. I think I love this album. Bang a Gong (Get It On) - Adding to my Playlist. Only song I’ve listened to before today. I didn’t add it before because of the lyrics but I don’t care anymore. Planet Queen - Adding to my Playlist. The vocals in this song are fun. Girl - Not Adding to my Playlist. Singing is a little annoying and I don’t like the instrumentals that much. The Motivator - Adding to my Playlist. Good but the singing is a bit annoying. Life’s a Gas - Adding to my Playlist. It sounds very nice and peaceful. Rip Off - Not Adding to my Playlist. Not a fan of the singing in this song. All in all I liked 7/11 songs. This was pretty good and was interesting as it was not what I expected from listening to Bang a Gong (Get It On).

This is the 7th album I’m rating. I’ve heard the name but aside from that I know nothing Elvis Costello & The Attractions. I hope it’s good. No Action - Not Adding to my Playlist. Kinda boring and I don’t like his voice. This Year’s Girl - Not Adding to my Playlist. Not a fan of that singing. The Beat - Not Adding to my Playlist. Cool beat but I don’t really like the vocals. Pump It Up - Adding to my Playlist. I don’t know what he’s saying but it’s good either way. Little Triggers - Not Adding to my Playlist. Singing isn’t great but it’s fine. You Belong to Me - Adding to my Playlist. Sounds pretty good but lyrics are a little repetitive. Hand in Hand - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like those lyrics. (I Don’t Want to Go to) Chelsea - Not Adding to my Playlist. Chelsea can’t be that bad of a city. Lip Service - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like this singing. Living in Paradise - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like the lyrics. Lipstick Vogue - Not Adding to my Playlist. That singing is annoying. Night Rally - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is boring and I don’t like the singing. All in all I liked 2/12 of the songs. This kinda sucked but it wasn’t terrible or 80 minutes long.

This is the eighth album I’m rating. I’m very excited because this is the first album where I know absolutely nothing so I’m going to go into this completely blind. Leben Heißt Leben - Not Adding to my Playlist. My immediate thoughts are that this isn’t in English, and pretty unknown. This also feels weirdly boring for a Slovenian band i’ve never heard of. Geburt einer Nation - Adding to my Playlist. The lyrics sound like English but the words are impossible to make out. Is this in German? I’m confused. I think it is because it’s a Queen cover. I’ve never listened to the Queen song but I can’t imagine it being anything like this. Leben - Tod - Adding to my Playlist. This feels like metal music. I wonder if the lyrics wouldn’t sound as stupid if I spoke the language. I think the lyrics are a bit repetitive but I might be wrong. F.I.A.T - Not Adding to my Playlist. Sounds like its from a Soviet military movie in a bad way. Opus Dei - Not adding to my Playlist. This is definitely English and I hate it. Go back to German. Titular track isn’t great. Trans-National - Adding to my Playlist. Sounds pretty weird but I love it. This is the type of album that you should never ever play at a party. How The West Was Won - Not Adding ho my Playlist. It sounds a bit too repetitive for me. The Great Seal - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is a military anthem. All in all I liked 3/8 songs. It was weird and nothing like anything else I’ve ever listened to. However. I like it more because it’s weird.

This is the ninth album I’m rating. I don’t think I’ve listened to a Stevie Wonder song before and I’ve never heard of this album. However, I have heard great things about him and I am excited to listen to it. You Are the Sunshine of my Life - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’ve heard a Stevie Wonder song before. Maybe Your Baby - Not Adding to my Playlist. Not a fan of those vocals. You and I (We Can Conquer the World) - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is pretty boring. Not bad, just boring. Tuesday Heartbreak - Adding to my Playlist. It sound nice and funky. You’ve Got It Bad Girl - Not Adding to my Playlist. Kinda long and kinda annoying. Way too repetitive. This could be cut like 3 minutes shorter. Superstition - Adding to my Playlist. How did I forget I listened to this? A classic. Big Brother - Adding to my Playlist. Cool harmonica. Vocals are cool. Blame it on the Sun - Not Adding to my Playlist. No harmonica. Lookin’ for Another Pure Love - Adding to my Playlist. A bit boring but that’s fine. However, this could be cut a couple minutes shorter it is a bit too repetitive. I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever) - Adding to my Playlist. This song is the same as Lookin’ for Another Pure Love in my mind. All in all I liked 5/10 songs. This was pretty boring and disappointing but not bad. I think this was a decent album.

This is the 10th album I’m rating. This is an Opus Dei situation. I don’t know what this is or who made it but the album cover is looking pretty cool. I hope this is good. Broken English - Adding to my Playlist. These vocals are getting pretty annoying and it could be cut like two minutes shorter still good though. Witches’ Song - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds much better than Broken English. The vocals aren’t as annoying. Brain Drain - Adding to my Playlist. I really like this song but it is a bit repetitive. I wonder how popular she is because I’ve never heard of her but these songs are pretty good. Guilt - Adding to my Playlist. The singing confuses me. I kinda like it but I also kind hate it. The Ballad of Lucy Jordan - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds pretty good. What’s the Hurry - Adding to my Playlist. The singing is a bit weird but I like it. Working Class Hero - Adding to my Playlist. This is the worst song on the album. I still like it though. Why’d Ya Do It - Adding to my Playlist. There is something about here singing that just feels wrong but weirdly I like it. All in all I liked 8/8 of the songs. This was the first great album I’ve listened to from this list and one of the worst great albums if that makes sense. I’m glad this was an album I’ve never heard of before. If Fetch the Bolt Cutters was my first I’d be a bit disappointed.

This is the eleventh album I’m rating. I am familiar with Zeppelin 1-4. However, I have yet to listen to a full Led Zeppelin album. I’m also not familiar with this album aside from Kashmir but I hope this is as good as Zeppelin’s other stuff. Custard Pie - Adding to my Playlist. This is definitely a Led Zeppelin song. The Rover - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like the singing. In My Time of Dying - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is way too long. Houses of the Holy - Adding to my Playlist. I didn’t know this was on Physical Graffiti. I always assumed this was from Houses of the Holy. Trampled Under Foot - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is pretty boring. Kashmir - Adding to my Playlist. I’m surprised I didn’t already add this. In the Light - Not Adding to my Playlist. The singing sounds bad but I like the synth on this song. Also, way too long. Bron-Yr-Aur - Not Adding to my Playlist. This sounds different and I don’t like it. Down by the Seaside - Adding to my Playlist. A nice and peaceful song that just sounds good. Ten Years Gone - Adding to my Playlist. A little long but pretty good. Night Flight - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m not a fan of the singing. The Wanton Song - Not Adding to my Playlist. Side four is pretty disappointing. Boogie with Stu - Adding with my Playlist. I don’t know who Stu is but this sounds pretty good. Black Country Woman - Not Adding to my Playlist. The singing was nice at first but it started getting annoying. Sick Again - Not Adding to my Playlist. Usually I like Plant’s singing but something just feels wrong. All in all I liked 6/15 of the songs. This was a pretty disappointing album, I expected better from Led Zeppelin, I mean it isn’t bad, just not that great.

This is the 12th album I’m rating. I don’t know what this is or who this but I can tell it’s metal from the name. Actually, it might be punk now that I think about it. Sweat Loaf - Adding to my Playlist. I got worried at the start but I was right after all. This is metal. Not a lot of genres would have a name like Locust Abortion Technician. I have a feeling that skit at the beginning is going to get annoying. Graveyard - Adding to my Playlist. I probably shouldn’t be adding this to my playlist because now this means I can’t listen to it at church. Pittsburgh to Lebanon - Adding to my Playlist. The voice is cool but I can’t tell what it’s saying. Weber - Not Adding to my Playlist. Too short. Probably good if it was longer. HAY - Not Adding to my Playlist. I can’t tell what’s going on in this song. Human Cannonball - Not Adding to my Playlist. That singing is annoying. U.S.S.A - Not Adding to my Playlist. Started off strong but got annoying. The O-Men - Not Adding to my Playlist. That is some strange singing. Kuntz - Not Adding to my Playlist. This sounds different probably because this definitely isn’t English. Graveyard - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is pretty cool but I feel like it goes on a little bit too long. 22 Going on 23 - Adding to my Playlist. I’m beginning to rethink if this is metal or not. I am very confused from listening to the other songs. This song is very confusing to me. Those parts with the talking aren’t that great but I really like the other parts. I’ll add it because it’s fun and experimental. All in all I liked 4/11 songs. Not the worst thing in the world but not that good either. This was better than This Year’s Model though. It started off strong but gradually got worse.

This is the 13th album I’m rating. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this album and that cover is iconic. However, I know nothing about her, the album, or what genre this is. So I’m going into this almost completely blind. I’m guessing that this is either country, folk, or bluegrass. Gloria: In Excelsis Deo - Adding to my Playlist. I’m thinking this is country. Redondo Beach - Adding to my Playlist. I’m thinking I’m wrong. I just thought that with a name like Horses and Patti Smith it would be country. Birdland - Not Adding to my Playlist. Way too long for my taste. Free Money - Not Adding to my Playlist. The vocals are a bit repetitive. Kimberly - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like the singing. Break It Up - Not Adding to my Playlist. I thought it was a little boring. Land: Horses/Land of a Thousand Dances/La Mer - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is too long and kinda annoying. Elegie - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds pretty good. All in all I liked 3/8 songs. This wasn’t that great and I would say it is about as good as Opus Dei.

This is the 14th album I’m rating. I haven’t listened to any Radiohead outside of Creep, I think. However, I hear Radiohead is pretty good so this better be one of my favorite albums ever. Planet Telex - Not Adding to my Playlist. On a different day I might like this. The Bends - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds pretty good. High and Dry - Adding to my Playlist. I think I heard this before. Maybe I’m thinking of that Rolling Stones song. Fake Plastic Trees - Adding to my Playlist. This is pretty boring but good. Bones - Not Adding to my Playlist. This sounds kinda basic but maybe its because it was really influential. (Nice Dream) - Not Adding to my Playlist. I feel like I’ve heard this song a bunch of times before. Just - Not Adding to my Playlist. A bit too long in my opinion. All of these songs feel pretty similar. My Iron Lung - Not Adding to my Playlist. So far it isn’t looking good for The Bends. Bullet Proof … I Wish I Was - Not Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t particularly memorable, interesting, or fun. Black Star - Not Adding to my Playlist. Maybe I’m not paying enough attention but this all feels identical. Sulk - Not adding to my Playlist. This is boring and annoying. Street Spirit (Fade Out) - This album is not that good. All in all I liked 3/12 songs. All of this was pretty similar and boring. It isn’t the worst thing in the world. However, it is pretty boring and the third worst album so far.

This is the 15th album I’m rating. This is the second Led Zeppelin album I have gotten and I am pretty unfamiliar with it. I’ve really only listened to the Immigrant Song which I think is overrated. Immigrant Song - Not Adding to my Playlist. Like I said before, it’s overrated. Friends - Adding to my Playlist. This song is barely good enough. Celebration Day - Adding to my Playlist. About as good as Friends. Since I’ve Been Loving You - Not Adding to my Playlist. Long and not that good. Out on the Tiles - Not Adding to my Playlist. Boring and not memorable. Gallows Pole - Not Adding to my Playlist. The song is fine and a bit annoying. Tangerine - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is not a good album. That’s the Way - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is just not good. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp - Adding to my Playlist. This feels like Bron-Yr-Aur. Hats Off to (Roy) Harper - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is weird and annoying. All in all I liked 3/10 of the songs. My standards might be too low I feel like I’m giving out too many 3 stars. This is a little better than The Bends.

This is the sixteenth album I’m rating. I’ve heard of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and I think they’re punk. However, I know nothing else about the band so I’m going into this near blind. Rich - Not Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like the vocals. I think I’ve criticized every single singer’s vocals so far. Date with the Night - Adding to my Playlist. Kinda annoying but kinda fun. Man - Adding to my Playlist. Same as Date with the Night. Tick - Adding to my Playlist. I feel like most punk bands sing the same. Black Tongue - Adding to my Playlist. Best song so far. Pin - Adding to my Playlist. Pretty cool. Cold Light - Adding to my Playlist. This is probably going to get really annoying after a bunch of listens. No No No - Adding to my Playlist. End isn’t that good though. Maps - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is a little boring. I don’t feel anything listening to this song. Y Control - Adding to my Playlist. As I review more albums, the reviews get shorter and shorter. Modern Romance - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds different in a good way. It feels familiar but I can’t quite think of what it sounds like. I hate to say it but this might be my favorite song on the album. Also, it’s annoying how its split up and the silence is gone on Spotify. I want that minute of silence and for it to one song. Where is that minute of silence for the fans who want a 7 minute song? All in all I liked 9/11 songs. I think it’s a little better than Broken English. Cool punk album. I’m beginning to notice there is a lot of rock but then again I only listened to 16 albums.

This is the 17th album I’m rating. I don’t know what this is or who this is. I think it’s metal based on the cover though. Earth Calling - Not Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t good but it feels like an introduction song. I guess this is a live album. Born to Go - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is boring and long. Upside Down - Not Adding to my Playlist. I really don’t like this. 10 Seconds of Forever - Not Adding to my Playlist. Space Rock isn’t a real genre it’s kinda like Riot Grrrl in that way. Brainstorm - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is too long and Space Rock sucks. Seven by Seven - Not Adding to my Playlist. I can tell why people like this but at the same time it’s bad. Sonic Attack - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’d rather listen to The 8th Cumming. Time We Left This World Today - Not Adding to my Playlist. I think Pussy Whipped is a better album and I hate Bikini Kill. Master of the Universe - Not Adding to my Playlist. I wonder if any Pop Punk is on this list. Welcome to the Future - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is terrible. All in all I liked 0/17 songs. This was like 10 minutes longer than Double Nickels on the Dime at 90 minutes and somehow worse. This was just a terrible album. Who thought a live double album would be a good idea?

This is the 18th album I’m rating. I’m not really familiar with any if these songs except for How Much a Dollar Cost because it’s Obama’s favorite song. This is one of the most acclaimed albums of all time so this better be good. Wesley’s Theory - Adding to my Playlist. Sounds pretty cool. For Free? (Interlude) - Adding to my Playlist. I definitely listened to this song. King Kunta - Adding to my Playlist. Kendrick’s good. Only critically acclaimed album that’s actually good. Institutionalized - Adding to my Playlist. This is much better than The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. These Walls - Adding to my Playlist. I need to listen to more Kendrick. U - Adding to my Playlist. Worst song so far but sill good. It’s looking like a top 10 album so far. Alright - Adding to my Playlist. I hate to be the guy praising critically acclaimed albums endlessly but this is fantastic. For Sale? (Interlude) - Adding to my Playlist. Easily the worst song. Makes sense because it’s an interlude. Momma - Adding to my Playlist. This was bad at the start but that ending pulled me in. Hood Politics - Adding to my Playlist. Liked the start but gradually got worse. How Much a Dollar Cost - Adding to my Playlist. Obama’s favorite song. When I first listened to this I thought Kendrick was an asshole for not giving him the money. He’s still an asshole. Good song though. Complexion (a Zulu Love) - Adding to my Playlist. The only things I know about Zulus are from reading Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. The Blacker The Berry - Adding to my Playlist. Pretty good. You Ain’t Gotta Lie (Momma Said) - Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t the greatest still good enough. I - Adding to my Playlist. That last part wasn’t too great. Mortal Man - Adding to my Playlist. Ending the album with a fantastic 12 minute long song. All in all I liked 16/16 songs. This is one of the greatest albums I’ve ever listened to and in my top 10. Unlike every other album on this list it matched expectations. This was truly fantastic.

Quintuple Pennies on the Nickel. (I Want to Live on an) Abstract Plan - Not Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t that bad but mot that great. Calistan - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is definitely worse. The Vanishing Spies - Not Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t very good. Speedy Marie - Adding to my Playlist. This feels basic and boring but good. Headache - Adding to my Playlist. I don’t think it’s punk anymore. Sir Rockaby - Adding to my Playlist. Maybe that album cover won’t be wasted after all. Freedom Rock - Adding to my Playlist. This is so basic that its pissing me off but I like basic. Two Reelers - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m thinking this is punk again because it feels very similar to Minutemen. Fiddle Riddle - Adding to my Playlist. This might be actually good. Olé Mulholland - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m annoyed by this. Fazer Eyes - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is too boring. I Could Stay Here Forever - Not Adding to my Playlist. Maybe not that great. The Hostess with the Mostest - Not Adding to my Playlist. Wasn’t particularly interesting. Superabound - Adding to my Playlist. This is ok. Big Red - Adding to my Playlist. Pretty cool song but this album is just so boring. Space is Gonna Do Me Good - Adding to my Playlist. Seems good enough. White Noise Maker - Not Adding to my Playlist. I never really understood having white noise to sleep. Pure Denizen of the Citizens Band - Adding to my Playlist. I don’t like the singing but it’s cool. Bad, Wicked World - Not Adding to my Playlist. I really don’t like the singing. Pie in the Sky - Not Adding to my Playlist. Not a great way to end the album in my opinion. All in all I liked 9/22 of the songs. Not as bad as Double Nickels on the Dime. Fine album but boring at times. I don’t really know who Frank Black is but I hear the Pixies are pretty cool.

This is the 20th album I’m rating. Like Teenager of the Year I know absolutely nothing going into this. However, I’m guessing punk rock. Overcome - Adding to my Playlist. I think I was wrong about this being punk rock. I also wasn’t expecting a woman. The production is really good. Ponderosa - Adding to my Playlist. This could be better than To Pimp a Butterfly. Black Steel - Adding to my Playlist. When is Tricky going to say something? Hell is Round the Corner - Adding to my Playlist. Pretty cool song. Pumpkin - Adding to my Playlist. Kinda boring but good. Aftermath - Adding to my Playlist. Great production on all the songs so far. Abbaon Fat Tracks - Adding to my Playlist. Same as the other songs. Brand New You’re Retro - Adding to my Playlist. Not really a fan of Tricky’s voice. Suffocated Love - Adding to my Playlist. Very cool, very nice. You Don’t - Adding to my Playlist. So Tricky was part of Massive Attack. Strugglin’ - Adding to my Playlist. Fantastic intro. Feed Me - Adding to my Playlist. This is fantastic it might be the best song on the album. All in all I liked 12/12 songs. This was fantastic and not like a lot of the stuff that I hear. It reminded me of Björk in a weird way. Although I’m unsure of whether to put this below or above To Pimp a Butterfly.

This is the 21st album I’m rating. What is this? I am going into this completely blind. This better not be a live double album like Space Ritual. Let’s Start - Adding to my Playlist. Is that Ginger Baker from Cream? This song is fantastic. Black Man’s Cry - Adding to my Playlist. This is a fantastic album so far. Ye Ye De Smell - Adding to my Playlist. I think this is the only Afrobeat I’ve listened to in my life and it’s great. Egbe Mi O (Carry Me I Want to Die) - Adding to my Playlist. A really fun album all around. Although it might be sad if I could understand him but I can’t hear the words in English too well. All in all I liked 4/4 songs. Great album and one of my top 20 albums. I haven’t heard anything from this genre and it was really interesting.

I hope this is like To Pimp a Butterfly and not The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Sunday Morning - Not Adding to my Playlist. Well shit. This is kinda shit. He sings like me and I don’t sing well. I’m Waiting for the Man - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m sorry to every music critic but that singing is truly bad. Femme Fatale - Adding to my Playlist. I planned on listening to this song for a long time but I never got around to doing it. However, I had heard a little bit of it. The singing kinda sounds like Amanda Palmer but this was way before she started making music so it’s probably the other way around. Venus In Furs - Not Adding to my Playlist. Cool instrumentals but I hate that singing. Bring back Nico. Run Run Run - Not Adding to my Playlist. Lou Reed kinda sucks. All Tommorow’s Parties - Adding to my Playlist. I can see how these songs influenced many musicians but they also kinda suck. Heroin - Not Adding to my Playlist. Get someone else to sing. There She Goes Again - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m sorry Lou Reed. I’ll Be Your Mirror - Adding to my Playlist. Nico is better than Lou Reed but she still kinda sucks. The Black Angel’s Death Song - Not Adding to my Playlist. I had hope but this isn’t good. European Son - Not Adding to my Playlist. Interestingly bad. All in all I liked 3/11 songs. It is no coincidence the 3 songs I liked were sung by Nico. Lou Reed is not that good of a singer. This was more like The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill than To Pimp a Butterfly.

I probably have listened to them though since I listened to a lot of radio music like most people over 10. Closer - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is extremely basic. Crawl - Not Adding to my Playlist. That singing is pretty annoying. Sex on Fire - Not Adding to my Playlist. This feels like a This Year’s Model situation. Use Somebody - Not Adding to my Playlist. I definitely recognize this song. I hate this song. Maybe listening to this song on the radio for years is influencing my judgement but it doesn’t change the fact I dislike it. Manhattan - Not Adding to my Playlist. I feel nothing. Revelry - Not Adding to my Playlist. Pretty basic but something feels right but also wrong. 17 - Not Adding to my Playlist. When I imagine alt rock I’m thinking of something interesting. Notion - Not Adding to my Playlist. I can’t listen to this album. I listened to all of these songs on the radio so much I can’t listen to them anymore. I Want You - Not Adding to my Playlist. This singing is pretty annoying. Be Somebody - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is more interesting but worse. Cold Desert - Not Adding to my Playlist. Antarctica or Ice Cream. All in all I liked 0/11 songs. Not as good as I thought it would be. The best terrible album. I’m getting kinda burnt out listening to new music I need a Fetch the Bolt Cutters or a Tidal or a Aftermath. I need something I know really well that’s really good. I don’t know what Björk albums are on here but one of them should be fine. Maybe Bitte Orca or Heaven or Las Vegas. Just something I know.

This is good. Alabama - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds like every country song. Katie Dear - Adding to my Playlist. Best song so far. My Brother’s Will - Adding to my Playlist. This albums feels like one long song. Knoxville Girl - Adding to my Playlist. I always hear the name Knoxville but I don’t know where that is. Take the News to Mother - Adding to my Playlist. The Way Things Are. Mary of the Wild Moor - Adding to my Playlist. Great song but what’s a wild moor? All in all I liked 12/12 songs. Bring the Boys Back Home - Not Adding to my Playlist. Feels Vietnam but it’s 1979. Comfortably Numb - Adding to my Playlist. Longest song maybe. The Show Must Go On - Adding to my Playlist. Best song on the album if it was like a minute longer. Side Four is going to be great. In the Flesh - Adding to my Playlist. This side is looking very good so far. This song is amazing. This is the best song on the album. Run Like Hell - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is kinda ruining side four. Waiting for the Worms - Not Adding to my Playlist. First two songs were good but it really went downhill from there. Stop - Adding to my Playlist. This is extremely short. I think the second shortest song I’ve listened to. The Trial - Adding to my Playlist. This feels like a Disney song. Outside the Wall - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is very boring. All in all I liked 16/26 songs. This was way too long and a lot of the songs kinda sucked. However, it is still a pretty good album.

Warm Love - Adding to my Playlist. This is fantastic a double album this good could definitely enter my top 15. Into the Mystic - Adding to my Playlist. This is really really good. These Dreams of You - Adding to my Playlist. Very safe song. I Believe to my Soul - Adding to my Playlist. Feels like Ray Charles. I’ve Been Working - Adding to my Playlist. Slave breeding. Help Me - Adding to my Playlist. Sounds like Sonny Boy Williamson the II. Wild Children - Adding to my Playlist. Live double albums are either incredible or terrible. This is incredible. Domino - Adding to my Playlist. I don’t even know what to say anymore these songs are great. I Just Want to Make Love to You - Adding to my Playlist. This is from 1954? Bring It On Home to Me - Adding to my Playlist. These songs are just great. Saint Dominic’s Preview - Adding to my Playlist. This albums feel weirdly familiar. Take Your Hand Out of my Pocket - Adding to my Playlist. Saxophone makes everything better. Listen to the Lion - Adding to my Playlist. This is pretty long and pretty good. Hear Comes the Night - Adding to my Playlist. Pretty cool. Gloria - Adding to my Playlist. This is probably the worst song. Caravan - Adding to my Playlist. I hate long songs but this is good enough to overcome my hatred. Cyprus Avenue - Adding to my Playlist. Live albums always have long songs and I hate it. All in all I liked 18/18 songs. I went into this with low expectations due to my previous experience with Space Ritual but this was fantastic. At 92 minutes I believe this is the longest album I listened to and it is one of the best. It is going into my top 20.

This is the 27th album I’m rating. I’ve barely listened to ABBA but the ABBA I’ve listened to has been pretty good so I’m expecting great things from this album. When I Kissed the Teacher - Adding to my Playlist. I hope this was a college professor. Dancing Queen - Adding to my Playlist. Classic song and probably the most famous ABBA song. My Love, my Life - Adding to my Playlist. I think I like ABBA. Dum Dum Diddle - Adding to my Playlist. Fun simple song. Knowing Me, Knowing You - Adding to my Playlist. Maybe I should watch Mamma Mia! Money, Money, Money - Adding to my Playlist. LeBron’s favorite song maybe. That’s Me - Adding to my Playlist. This is a really fun album. Why Did it Have to be Me? - Adding to my Playlist. The guys are singing and it’s pretty good. Tiger - Adding to my Playlist. Best song on the album. Arrival - Adding to my Playlist. Interesting way to end the album. All in all I liked 10/10 of the songs. This was a fantastic album and actually exceeded expectations. ABBA is great.

This is the 28th album I’m rating. I really only know Respect but that song wasn’t that bad so this is probably pretty good. I’m glad this is short because those albums over an hour long are getting really tiring. Chain of Fools - Adding to my Playlist. This is a fantastic song. I can see why she is so well liked. Money Won’t Change You - Adding to my Playlist. Aretha Franklin is a fantastic singer. People Get Ready - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m starting to get bored. Niki Hoeky - Adding to my Playlist. This isn’t boring. Best song so far. (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman - Adding to my Playlist. That singing is really good. (Sweet Sweet Baby) Since You’ve Been Gone - Adding to my Playlist. A part of me was wishing this album was worse because I feel like I’ve been on too good of a streak. Good to Me as I’ve Been You - Not Adding to my Playlist. The singing is a bit annoying. Come Back Baby - Not Adding to my Playlist. I feel like at a certain point everything begins to sound the same. Groovin’ - Adding to my Playlist. This sounds a little basic but it’s pretty groovy. Ain’t No Way - Not Adding to my Playlist. I’m sorry but I can’t add this it’s just too basic. All in all I liked 6/10 songs. Aretha Franklin is pretty good and I’ve had a stretch of some pretty great albums so far.

This is the 27th album I’m rating. I’ve heard the name Duran Duran but like many of the musicians so far I have never heard of them. So I’m going to this blind not knowing what to expect. Rio - Adding to my Playlist. This list is too good. All of the albums are great. My Own Way - Adding to my Playlist. Synth-pop is pretty cool. Lonely in Your Nightmare - Not Adding to my Playlist. This is ok and on a different day I might add it. Hungry Like the Wolf - Adding to my Playlist. I feel like I’ve heard this song before but I don’t know where. Is it Old School? Hold Back the Rain - Adding to my Playlist. Pretty good song. New Religion - Adding to my Playlist. These songs are getting a bit boring. Last Chance on the Stairway - Adding to my Playlist. This entire album feels so familiar. Save a Prayer - Adding to my Playlist. I’m probably insane but this feels like Heaven or Las Vegas. The Chauffeur - Adding to my Playlist. Feels like Halloween theme but rock and really really good. All in all I liked 8/9 of the songs. Lonely in Your Nightmare is ruining what would’ve been a perfect album. Still great though. This next album better be Fiona Apple.

This is the 30th album I’m rating. I just realized I said Rio was the 27th album I rated but I don’t care enough to edit it. I’ve heard of the album before but I’ve never listened to a song. Also, I’m done talking about the songs unless they are interesting because it’s too much work. Adding to my Playlist - School, Bloody Well Right, Hide in Your Shell, Asylum, Dreamer, Rudy, If Everyone Was Listening, and Crime of the Century. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Bloody Well Right - This unbelievably good. This is amazing. That intro just sounds so good. That intro genuinely made me smile listening to it for the first time. Crime of the Century - Fantastic way to end an album. Great all around. All in all I liked 8/8 songs. I wasn’t expecting much going into this but it was fantastic. Every single song was great and this could potentially enter my top 5 but I’ll keep it top 10 for now.

This is the 31st album I’m rating. If I remember correctly I’ve only listened to Feel Good Inc. and it wasn’t that great. However, I’ve heard Gorillaz is great so I have high hopes. Adding to my Playlist - Re-Hash, New Genius (Brother), Punk, Sound Check (Gravity), Double Bass, Rock the House, 19-2000, Slow Country, and M1 A1. Not Adding to my Playlist - 5/4, Tomorrow Comes Today, Clint Eastwood, Man Research (Clapper), Latin Simone (¿Que Pasa Contigo?), and Starshine. Re-Hash - This lived up to expectations. This is much better than Feel Good Inc. This sounds great and a little like Tricky. 5/4 - I completely forgot but I’ve actually heard this song before. I actually heard it because it was in 5/4 and you know what it still sucks. Clint Eastwood - I wasn’t sure if I’ve listened to this before but I definitely did. I didn’t like it at first and I still don’t. M1 A1 - This feels like 22 Going on 23 but I don’t really like it as much. However, it is still good. All in all I liked 9/15 songs. This was pretty good and was pretty much what I expected in quality. However, I was not ready for this much variety which was a very nice surprise.

This is the 32nd album I’m rating. Surprisingly this is the first album where I’m getting a song I’ve already added to my playlist, Supermassive Black Hole. That was actually the only song I’ve listened to on this album. The song was great so I’m expecting good things. Adding to my Playlist - Soldier’s Poem, Invincible, City of Delusion, Knights of Cydonia Not Adding to my Playlist - Take a Bow, Starlight, Map of the Problematique, Assassin, Exo-Politics, Hoodoo Already Added to my Playlist - Supermassive Black Hole Starlight - Listening to this song you can tell exactly when it was made and it just feels wrong. Assassin - This ass be assin. All in all I liked 5/11 songs. Supermassive Black Hole misled me because this really wasn’t that great. Teenager of the Year tier.

This is the 33rd album I’m rating. I think I’ve seen the cover and heard about it but that was probably years ago in a dark alley. So I don’t know what to expect. Adding to my Playlist - Right in Time, Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, 2 Kool 2 be 4-Gotten, Drunken Angel, Concrete and Barbed Wire, Lake Charles, Can’t Let Go, I Lost It, Metal Firecracker, Greenville, Still I Long for Your Kiss, Joy, and Jackson. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Right in Time - This is good but I’m expecting that singing to get annoying. Drunken Angel - I’m sorry I said that this singing is incredible. Weirdly this made me smile but it’s just too good. Can’t Let Go - I hate to agree with the Grammys but this is great and the best song on the album. Still I Long for Your Kiss - Fantastic and a contender for best song on the album. Probably best song on the album. Joy - This album just gets better and better. This is definitely a contender for best song. All in all I liked 13/13 songs. If not for this list I might not’ve ever listened to this album. This is a top 10 album of all time for me maybe even top 5 but either way I love this album. Fuck it I’m putting it top 5. It is just so good.

This is the 34th album I’m rating. I don’t know who this is and I’ve never heard of the album. Based on the cover I’m assuming this is like Janelle Monáe. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Frontline, Waitin, Take Me Apart, Enough, Jupiter, Better, LMK, Truth or Dare, S.O.S, Blue Light, Onanon, Turn to Dust, Bluff, and Altadena. Frontline - I’m very disappointed this sounds so basic. All in all I liked 0/14 songs. This is so boring. It feels like something you would hear in Walmart. How can something be this boring?

This is the 35th album I’m rating. I’ve heard of The Band and The Band before because it was apparently good and the name is stupid. I hope the music is as good as the name. Adding to my Playlist - Across the Great Divide, Rag Mama Rag, The Night they Drove Old Dixie Down, When You Awake, Up on Ripple Creek, Whispering Pines, Jemima Surrender, Rockin’ Chair, Look Out Cleveland, Jawbone, The Unfaithful Servant, and King Harvest (Has Surely Come). Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Across the Great Divide - This was not what I expected at all but it’s great. All in all I liked 12/12 of the songs. This was great and probably the best folk album I’ve ever listened to. Great music.

This is the 36th album I’m rating. I know absolutely nothing about this but I’m expecting rock. Adding to my Playlist - That Lady, If You Were There, You Walk Your Way, Listen to the Music, What it Comes Down to, Summer Breeze, and The Highways of my Life. Not Adding to my Playlist - Dont Let me be Lonely Tonight and Sunshine (Go Away Today). That Lady - I was wrong but I don’t mind because this sounds great. All in all I liked 7/9 of the songs. I think this was better than Lady Soul and the best soul album I’ve ever listened to.

This is the 37th album I’m rating. I’ve been meaning to listen to this for a really long time now. Now is time. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - 742617000027, (sic), Eyeless, Wait and Bleed, Surfacing, Spit It Out, Tattered & Torn, Frail Limb Nursery, Purity, Liberate, Prosthetics, No Life, Diluted, Only One, and Scissors. All in all I liked 0/15 songs. This really wasn’t that good. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world but most things are better than this. As boring as nu metal can be.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 12/12 of the songs. It was kinda boring but in a good way. Sounds like A Tribe Called Quest but worse.

This is the 39th album I’m rating. I’ve heard of the band and some great things about them. However, I don’t really know much about the music they do. Adding to my Playlist - Mr. Self Destruct, Piggy, Heresy, March of the Pigs, Closer, Ruiner, The Becoming, I Do Not Want This, Big Man with a Gun, A Warm Place, Eraser, Reptile, The Downward Spiral, and Hurt. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 14/14 songs. This was a fantastic album and was not what I expected. It was pretty loud and pretty cool.

This is the 40th album I’m rating. Who is this this? I know nothing about this and I have low expectations. I’m expecting some country. Adding to my Playlist - Strolling Down the Highway, Smokey River, Oh How Your Love is Strong, Finches, Veronica, Alice’s Wonderland, Running from Home, Courting Blues, Casbah, and Angie. Not Adding to my Playlist - I Have No Time, Needle of Death, Do you Hear me Now, Rambling’s Gonna be the Death of me, and Dreams of Love. All in all I liked 10/15 songs. He isn’t a great singer but the composing is pretty good. Saved by those instrumentals.

This is the 41st album I’m rating. I don’t know who this is. However, that album art looks pretty cool. Is this Spanish? Adding to my Playlist - Tropicália, Clarice, No Dia Em Que Eu Vim-Me Embora, Alegria Alegria, Onde Andarás?, Anunciação, Superbacana, Paisagem Útil, Clara, Soy Loco Por Ti América, Ave-Maria, and Eles. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 12/12 songs. This was unlike anything I’ve ever heard before. I’ve really only listened to English songs aside from Laibach and this was very cool.

This is the 42nd album I’m rating. I’ve only listened to Seven Nation Army but it was pretty good so this better be good. Adding to my Playlist - Blue Orchid, The Nurse, My Doorbell, Forever for Her (Is Over for Me), The Denial Twist, and I’m Lonely (But I Ain’t That Lonely Yet). Not Adding to my Playlist - Little Ghost, White Moon, Instinct Blues, Passive Manipulation, Take, Take, Take, As Ugly as I Seem, and Red Rain Take, Take, Take - This sound stolen. I don’t think it is but it feels so derivative. All in all I liked 6/13 songs. This was pretty basic and a little annoying at times. However, it had some great songs on it.

This is the 43rd album I’m rating. I’ve heard of Roxy Music and I still can’t believe there isn’t a woman in the band. I’ve never listened to the music though. Adding to my Playlist - Would You Believe? and Bitters End. Not Adding to my Playlist - Re-Make/Re-Model, Ladytron, If There is Something, Virginia Plain, 2HB, The Bob (Medley), Chance Meeting, and Sea Breezes. Virginia Plain - I wonder if I should rate this because this is on the US version? All in all I liked 2/10 songs. Wow. This really wasn’t that good. It wasn’t even that interesting either but maybe that is just because the band was really influential.

This is the 44th album I’m rating. I’ve heard of the band but I’ve never listened to a song so this’ll be a brand new experience. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Frustration, Tainted Love, Seedy Films, Youth, Sex Dwarf, Entertain Me, Chips on my Shoulder, Bedsitter, Secret Life, and Say Hello, Wave Goodbye. All in all I liked 0/10 of the songs. Wow this shit fucking sucks. In a way I appreciate it for exposing me to a new sound but it really sucks.

This is the forty fifth album I’m rating. I’ve heard some great things about the band but I’ve never listened to a song so this’ll be my first time listening. Adding to my Playlist - The Things that Dreams are Made of, Open Your Heart, The Sound of the Crowd, Darkness, Do or Die, Get Carter, I am the Law, Seconds, Love Action (I Believe in Love), and Don’t You Want Me. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. This was simply fantastic. It sound a lot like Duran Duran in a good way. This was just a fun catchy album.

This is the forty sixth album I’m rating. I’ve heard some good things about the band. I think that I’ve listened to one song but I might’ve listened to none. Adding to my Playlist - Baba O’Riley, Bargain, Love Ain’t For Keeping, My Wife, The Song Is Over, Getting In Tune, Going Mobile, Behind Blue Eyes, and Won’t Get Fooled Again. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 9/9 songs. This was a great classic rock albums but below Can’t Buy a Thrill by Steely Dan for me.

This is the forty seventh album I’m rating. I’ve heard some good things about his songwriting but I’ve never to listened to a song. Adding to my Playlist - Earth Died Screaming, Dirt in the Ground, Such a Scream, All Stripped Down, Who Are You, The Ocean Doesn’t Want Me, Jesus Gonna Be Here, A Little Rain, In the Colosseum, Goin’ Out West, Murder in the Red Barn, Black Wings, Whistle Down the Wind, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up, Let me Get Up on It, and That Feel. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Dirt in the Ground - This is very well written and sounds so different. All in all I liked 16/16 songs. This was very very well written. Tom Waits in a excellent lyricist.

This is the forty eighth album I’m rating. I’ve heard the name but I’ve never heard anything about the band or what music they make. Adding to my Playlist - I Wanna Be Adored, She Bangs the Drums, Waterfall, Don’t Stop, Bye Bye Badman, Elizabeth my Dear, (Song for my) Sugar Spun Sister, Made of Stone, Shoot You Down, This is the One, and I am the Resurrection. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 11/11 of the songs. I can feel how influential this was just by listening to it. I can’t believe I’ve never heard this before because it is just do so good.

This is the forty ninth album I’m rating. The only Elton John knowledge I have is that movie and that he caused AIDS. Adding to my Playlist - Levon, Razor Face, Madman Across the Water Not Adding to my Playlist - Tiny Dancer, Indian Sunset, Holiday Inn, Rotten Peaches, All the Nasties, and Goodbye. Tiny Dancer - I’m sorry but this is just too boring. The chorus is cool but I feel absolutely nothing. All in all I liked 3/9 songs. I thought Elton John was good but this was just really boring.

This is the 50th album I’m rating. This probably isn’t in English so this’ll be very interesting. The last foreign language album I got was fantastic so I hope this’ll be great too. Adding to my Playlist - Papa Bonheur, Désespoir, Koweït, Rive Gauche, Qui Cherche Trouve, Élixir, Porte-Monnaie, Conte de Fées, Obrigado, and Dit Jeannot. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Papa Bonheur - My French teacher would be very disappointed in me because I don’t understand this. All in all I liked 9/9 songs. This was kinda boring but it was pretty good and pretty fun.

This is the 51st album I’m rating. Whenever I see an album cover with a woman as the focus I assume she’s in the band. Adding to my Playlist - The Age of the Understatement, Standing Next to me, Calm Like You, Separate and Ever Deadly, The Chamber, Only the Truth, My Mistakes Were Made for You, Black Plant, I Don’t Like You Anymore, In my Room, The Meeting Place, and Time Has Come Again. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 12/12 songs. This wasn’t very interesting but it was pretty good.

This is the 52nd album I’m rating. I’ve heard great things about SOS but not a lot about Ctrl. Adding to my Playlist - Doves in the Wind, Go Gina, Broken Clocks, Anything, Wavy (Interlude), Pretty Little Birds, and 20 Something. Not Adding to my Playlist - Supermodel, Love Galore, Drew Barrymore, Prom, The Weekend, Garden (Say It Like Dat), and Normal Girl. Supermodel - I’m have a natural disdain for radio music. The Weekend - I lost my review while writing this and I’m annoyed. All in all I liked 7/14 songs. This wasn’t the greatest but it was pretty good and on a different day I might rate it higher. However, I just don’t like this type of music today. I accidentally gave this 5 stars and had to edit it to 3 stars.

This is the 53rd album I’m rating. I think I’ve only heard one Billy Joel song and it wasn’t Piano Man. Adding to my Playlist - Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song), Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Vienna, Only the Good Die Young, She’s Always a Woman, and Get it Right the First Time. Not Adding to my Playlist - The Stranger, Just the Way You are, and Everybody Has a Dream. All in all I liked 6/9 songs. Billy Joel is pretty good and this album is pretty good.

This is the 54th album I’m rating. I’ve only heard Hotel California and I hated it so I have pretty low expectations. Adding to my Playlist - Hotel California, Life in the Fast Lane, and Try and Love Again. Not Adding to my Playlist - New Kid in Town, Wasted Time, Wasted Time (Reprise), Victim of Love, Pretty Maids All in a Row, and The Last Resort. Hotel California - I don’t what young me was thinking because this is great. All in all I liked 3/9 songs. I don’t really like the Eagles. How did this album sell so well?

This is the 55th album I’m rating. I’ve heard one song by the Allman Brothers Band but I can’t remember which one it was. Adding to my Playlist - Statesboro Blues and Done Somebody Wrong. Not Adding to my Playlist - Stormy Monday, You Don’t Love Me, Hot ‘Lanta, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, and Whipping Post. All in all I liked 2/7 songs. Live double albums are almost always terrible. Who needs a 22 minute song?

This is the 56th album I’m rating. Back to back live albums is terrible. Especially when they are this long. Adding to my Playlist - Part II C Not Adding to my Playlist - Part I, Part II A, Part II B Part I - This would be great if it wasn’t so long. I just can’t listen to anything over 12 minutes. Part II C - This sounds great and it is the perfect length for me. All in all I liked 1/4 songs. This album would be a lot better if he had split up those songs.

This is the 56th album I’m rating. Back to back live albums is terrible. Especially when they are this long. Adding to my Playlist - El Harba Wine, C’est la Nuit, Imagine, Trigue Lycee, E’dir E’sseba, El Bab, and Deurwiche Tourneur. Not Adding to my Playlist - Aâlach Tloumouni, Ya Aâchkou, Melha, Raba Raba, El Aâdyene, Gouloulha Dji, Mele H’biti, and Leïli. All in all I liked 7/15 songs. This album was too bloated and could’ve been cut by 25 minutes without problems. Also, I lost my full review while writing this.

This is the 58th album I’m rating. I’ve listened to Steely Dan but never to any of his solo stuff but I think this’ll be great. Adding to my Playlist - I.G.Y., Green Flower Street, Ruby Baby, Maxine, New Frontier, The Nightfly, The Goodbye Look, and Walk Between Raindrops. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 8/8 songs. Very fun and very jazzy. A lot more fun than Hitler.

This is the 59th album I’m rating. I don’t really know who this guy is but the album name is incredible. Adding to my Playlist - Billy Jack, When Seasons Change, So in Love, Jesus, Blue Monday People, Hard Times, and Love to the People. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 7/7 songs. This was just a nice chill album and there is something about his voice that I really like.

This is the 60th album I’m rating. I’ve only listened to Smells like Teen Spirit but it was great so this’ll probably be great too. Adding to my Playlist - Serve the Servants, Scentless Apprentice, Heart-Shaped Box, Rape Me, Frances Farmer will Have her Revenge on Seattle, Dumb, Very Ape, Milk It, Pennyroyal Tea, Radio Friendly Unit Shifter, Tourette’s, and All Apologies. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Scentless Apprentice - I can really tell Kurt liked the Butthole Surfers. Heart-Shaped Box - I’ve listened to this before. All in all I liked 12/12 songs. This wasn’t what I was expecting but it was great. Kurt Cobain has a very interesting lyrical style though.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Intro, Bamboo (Interlude), E-Mac (Interlude), Interlude, Bowtie (Postlude), God (Interlude), Where Are My Panties? (Interlude), Good Day, Good Sir (Interlude), and The Letter. Already Added to my Playlist - Roses and Dracula’s Wedding. Bowtie (Postlude) - This sounds weirdly good but it’s too short. Speakerboxxx if it was just that would be one of my favorite albums of all time. Those interludes are terrible though I’m glad that trend died out. A Life in the Day of Benjamin André (Incomplete) - Pretty good song and album. I’d probably say this is worse than Speakerboxxx though. It also suffers the same problem of terrible interludes. All in all I liked 30/40 of the songs. This was hurt by those terrible interludes but the album as a whole was great.

This is the 62nd album I’m rating. I’ve only listened to Mr. Brightside and I kinda hated it. Adding to my Playlist - All These Things That I’ve Done and Everything Will Be Alright. Not Adding to my Playlist - Jenny Was a Friend of Mine, Mr. Brightside, Smile Like You Mean It, Somebody Told Me, Andy, You’re a Star, On Top, Change Your Mind, Believe Me Natalie, and Midnight Show. All in all I liked 2/11 songs. This wasn’t that good and it was too basic. If you like it I wouldn’t judge for it though you because I like The Last Shadow Puppets who are arguably more basic.

This is the 63rd album I’m rating. I’ve always liked swing and electro swing. Frank Sinatra has some great songs too. Adding to my Playlist - You Make Me Feel So Young, It Happened in Monterey, You’re Going to be a Habit With Me, You Brought a New Kind of Love to Me, Too Marvelous for Words, Old Devil Moon, Love is Here to Stay, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, I Thought About You, We’ll Be Together Again, Makin’ Whoopee, Swingin’ Down the Lane, Anything Goes, and How About You?. Not Adding to my Playlist - Pennies from Heaven Pennies from Heaven - This is good but I like the Louis Prima version more. All in all I liked 14/15 songs. This was just a really nice chill romantic album. It wasn’t the most interesting but it was very pleasant.

Adding to my Playlist - Legalize It, Burial, Whatcha Gonna Do, No Sympathy, Why Must I Cry, Igziabeher (Let Jah Be Praised), Ketchy Shulby, Till Your Well Runs Dry, and Brand New Second Hand. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 9/9 of the songs. I haven’t really listened to much reggae and this was a great introduction into the genre.

Not Adding to my Playlist - The Boy in the Bubble, Graceland, I Know What I Know, Gumboots, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, You Can Call Me Al, Under African Skies, Homeless, Crazy Love, Vol. II, That Was Your Mother, and All Around the World or the Myth of Fingerprints. All in all I liked 0/11 songs. This is boring and not that good. Why did Paul Simon do this? I need to listen to some Fiona Apple.

This is the 66th album I’m rating. I don’t really know what this is but I know it is country. Adding to my Playlist - Stardust, Georgia on my Mind, Blue Skies, All of Me, Unchained Melody, September Song, On the Sunny Side of the Street, Moonlight in Vermont, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, and Someone to Watch Over Me. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. This was a nice calm soothing album. Willie Nelson is pretty cool.

This is the 67th album I’m rating. I haven’t listened to much but I’ve heard great things about the album and I’ve listened to The Magic Number. Adding to my Playlist - The Magic Number, Jenifa Taught Me (Derwin’s Revenge), Ghetto Thang, Eye Know, Tread Water, Potholes in my Lawn, Say On Go, Plug Tunin’ (Last Chance to Understand), Buddy, Me Myself and I, This is a Recording 4 Living in a Fulltime Era (L.I.F.E), and D.A.I.S.Y Age. Not Adding to my Playlist - Intro, Change in Speak, Cool Breeze on the Rocks, Can U Keep a Secret, Transmitting Live From Mars, Take It Off, A Little Bit of Soap, Do As De La Does, De La Orgee, Description, I Can Do Anything (Delacratic), and Plug Tunin’ (Original 12" Version). All in all I liked 12/24 songs. This wasn’t nearly as good as everyone said it was. There were a lot of truly awful songs on this album.

This is the 68th album I’m rating. I’ve heard Frank Zappa is great but I’ve never listened to anything he made, I think. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Are You Hung Up?, Who Needs the Peace Corps?, Concentration Moon, Mom & Dad, Bow Tie Daddy, Harry, You’re a Beast, What’s the Ugliest Part of Your Body?, Absolutely Free, Flower Punk, Hot Poop, Nasal Retentive Calliope Music, Let’s Make the Water Turn Black, The Idiot Bastard Son, It’s His Voice on the Radio, Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance, What’s the Ugliest Part of Your Body? (Reprise), Mother People, and The Chrome Plated Megaphone of Destiny. All in all I liked 0/18 songs. This was awful but I kinda like it for what it is. It does what it does perfectly but I hate what it does. It makes fun of mainstream music well but it sounds awful.

This is the 69th album I’m rating. Gin and Juice is a classic but I’ve never listened to another Snoop Dogg song. Adding to my Playlist - Who Am I? Already Added to my Playlist - Gin and Juice All in all I liked 3/19 songs. This wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be based off of Gin and Juice.

This is the 70th album I’m rating. The only Fleetwood Mac song I’ve ever listened to is Tusk so this is pretty lucky. Adding to my Playlist - Over & Over, The Ledge, Think About Me, Save Me a Place, What Makes You Think You’re the One, I Know I’m Not Wrong, Honey Hi, Tusk, and Never Forget. Not Adding to my Playlist - Sara, Storms, That’s All for Everyone, Not That Funny, Sisters of the Moon, Angel, That’s Enough for Me, Brown Eyes, Never Make Me Cry, Beautiful Child, and Walk a Thin Line. Sara - McVie and Buckingham are better this is a bit too long and something about her singing feels off. All in all I liked 9/20 of the songs. Nicks is long and boring, Buckingham is weird and hit or miss, and McVie is good and a little boring.

This is the 71st album I’m rating. The only Little Richard song I’ve ever listened to is Tutti Frutti so this is pretty lucky. Adding to my Playlist - True, Fine Mama, Can’t Believe You Wanna Leave, Ready Teddy, Baby, Slippin’ and Slidin’, Long Tall Sally, Miss Ann, Oh Why?, Rip It Up, Jenny, Jenny, and She’s Got It. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Already Added to my Playlist - Tutti Frutti. All in all I liked 12/12 songs. This wasn’t the most interesting but there is something charming about Little Richard’s nearly 70 year old sound.

This is the 72nd album I’m rating. I don’t really know what this is but that name is pretty cool. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Fast Cars, No Reply, You Tear Me Up, Get On Our Own, Love Battery, Sixteen, I Don’t Mind, Fiction Romance, Autonomy, I Need, and Moving Away from the Pulsebeat. All in all I liked 0/11 songs. This sounded like the Minutemen and I hate the Minutemen.

This is the 73rd album I’m rating. I don’t really know what this is but African Blues seems pretty cool. Adding to my Playlist - Erdi, Yer Bounda Fora, Beto, Savane, Soya, Penda Yoro, Machengoidi, Ledi Coumbe, Hanana, Soko Yhinka, Gambari Didi, Banga, and N’Jarou. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 13/13 songs. This feels so familiar and it just sounds so good. I don’t understand it but African Blues and Ali Farka Touré are great.

This is the 74th album I’m rating. I’ve heard this is the first modern hip hop album but what about Slick Rick? Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Countdown to Armageddon (Intro), Bring the Noise, Don’t Believe the Hype, Cold Lampin’ with Flavor, Terminator X to the Edge of Panic, Mind Terrorist (Interlude), Louder than a Bomb, Caught, Can we Get a Witness?, Show ‘Em Whatcha Got (Interlude), She Watch Channel Zero?!, Night of the Living Baseheads, Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos, Security of the First World (Interlude), Rebel Without a Pause, Prophets of Rage, and Party for your Right to Fight. Bring the Noise - This sounds so unbelievably dated and in 2025 I’m not sure if this is good anymore. All in all I liked 0/16 songs. This was really dated. Maybe it was good back then but right now this isn’t very revolutionary and it just kinda sucks.

This is the 75th album I’m rating. I haven’t listened to a lot of Miles Davis. I hear he’s a jazz legend but I’ve found the little I’ve heard of him a bit boring. Adding to my Playlist - John McLaughlin and Sanctuary. Not Adding to my Playlist - Pharaoh’s Dance, Bitches Brew, Spanish Key, and Miles Runs the Voodoo Down. Pharaoh’s Dance - I like it but it feels a little too long and a bit bloated. Sanctuary - I liked it and added it but it still felt a bit too long. All in all I liked 2/6 songs. I’m glad jazz has begun to get less bloated because although this album is very good it all feels too long.

This is the 76th album I’m rating. I haven’t listened to anything by them but I want to like metal. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Suite-Pee, Know, Sugar, Suggestions, Spiders, DDevil, Soil, War?, Mind, Peephole, CUBErt, Darts, and P.L.U.C.K.. Suite-Pee - I really don’t like those vocals. All in all I liked 0/13 songs. I don’t know if I don’t like metal or if I don’t like nu metal either way I don’t like this.

This is the 77th album I’m rating. I haven’t really listened to anything by Dr. Dre but I hear this is pretty good. Adding to my Playlist - Let Me Ride, The Day the Niggaz Took Over, Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang, Deeez Nuuuts, Lil’ Ghetto Boy, A Nigga Witta Gun, Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat, and Bitches Ain’t Shit. Not Adding to my Playlist - The Chronic (Intro), Fuck wit Dre Day (And Everybody’s Celebratin’), The $20 Sack Pyramid (Skit), Lyrical Gangbang, High Powered, The Doctor’s Office (Skit), Stranded on Death Row, and The Roach (The Chronic Outro). All in all I liked 8/16 songs. This wasn’t that bad but it was a pretty big disappointment for one of the most acclaimed artists of all time.

This is the 78th album I’m rating. I don’t think I’ve listened to a single song by the group but I’m usually open to listen to more music. Adding to my Playlist - Peter Piper, Is It Live, Hit It Run, Raising Hell, and Proud to be Black. Not Adding to my Playlist - It’s Tricky, My Adidas, Walk This Way, Perfection, You Be Illin’, Dumb Girl, and Son of Byford. It’s Tricky - I’ve definitely heard this song before and it sounds good but listening to it makes me feel wrong. All in all I liked 5/12 songs. This was pretty dated but I appreciate the influence of the album on pop culture

This is the 79th album I’m rating. I got very excited when I saw this album. I thought it would take me a while before I found an album I had already listened to and liked but I got one in my first 100. I abandoned talking about every song individually a while back but I want to talk about every song here one by one because it is in my top 10 albums of all time. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Already Added to my Playlist - Cherry-Coloured Funk, Pitch the Baby, Iceblink Luck, Fifty-Fifty Clown, Heaven or Las Vegas, I Wear Your Ring, Fotzepolitic, Wolf in the Breast, Road, River, and Rail, and Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires. Cherry-Coloured Funk - This is one of the best opening tracks of all time and it immediately tells you what kinda of an album you’re getting into. It is just perfect and I’ve probably listened to it a hundred times with how many times I’ve listened to this album. Immediately you are getting introduced to Elizabeth Fraser’s unique vocal style. Interestingly this is one of the few songs where there are official lyrics and they are in my opinion pretty cool. Pitch the Baby - Admittedly the first time I listened to this I didn’t like it but as time has gone on I’ve grown to appreciate this song. This is such a Cocteau Twins song. By that I mean it makes absolutely means no sense. Elizabeth Fraser said that she writes songs that make no sense only thinking about the way it sounds and this song makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. There is something very charming about that though and I’ve grown to appreciate it. Iceblink Luck - Pitch the Baby was very Cocteau Twins but this is in my opinion the most Cocteau Twins song. Iceblink Luck as a phrase makes no sense and I swear I hear her say cherry cola at around the one minute mark. This is probably the group’s most iconic song. Interestingly though in this song you can definitely make out a lot more words than in their other songs. Fifty-Fifty Clown - Elizabeth Fraser’s vocals are really quite unique in the music landscape. Her vocals helps to create this ethereal atmosphere with the way that the words are mostly unintelligible. Most musicians tend to avoid heavy effects and dense production but the band loved it and I think it creates a very unique very good album. Heaven or Las Vegas - I might’ve lied when talking about Iceblink Luck because this song is very iconic. What does Heaven or Las Vegas mean? I’m not sure but despite lyrics that are very hard to decipher Elizabeth Fraser has said that the lyrics in the songs always hold meaning. I don’t think it matters though what Elizabeth Fraser is really saying anyways all that matters is what you think she means and how it feels. Also, Heaven or Las Vegas will always be stuck in my head because it is just so so catchy. I Wear Your Ring - This song is a perfect example of how the band creates this really nice atmospheric vibe that dream pop is known for. Although not my favorite song on the album I think it would do really well as a blueprint for dream pop because it incorporates all of the aspects of the genre really well. Fotzepolitic - When I first heard this song I wasn’t a big fan but I’m not sure what was wrong with me because this is just great. It creates this perfect dreamlike atmospheric vibe and it just feels good. When I listen to this song in my mind I think of spending time with the one you love and I just love it. Wolf in the Breast - This was the very first song I ever listened to by the Cocteau Twins and it really just drew me in. It made me want to listen to more so I did research on the band and when I saw they were dream pop I stopped listening. I don’t know why but for some reason I had this really negative perception of dream pop. There was still a part of me though that couldn’t help but me drawn in and later I went back to listen to the full song. I’m glad I did too because this song is amazing. It is very very good. Road, River, and Rail - I’ve spent a lot of time talking about Elizabeth Fraser but there are two other members of the band so lets talk about Robin Guthrie. He was and probably still is an incredible producer who handled much of the effects and let me just say the effects on this album and especially this song are great. I think that him never having any formal musical training made his guitar and compositions really interesting so thank you Robin Guthrie for not getting any sort of music education. Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires - That moment around the 2 minute mark where the song changes is simply incredible. Don’t get me wrong it is a good song before then but that moment makes it one of the best songs of all time. Simon Raymonde describes the way the band got together ad a beautiful accident and I’m glad it happened because Fraser’s vocals, Guthrie’s guitar, and Raymonde’s bass are all perfect. Raymonde is probably one of the best writers of all tile and really the whole band wrote some truly great music together. A perfect way to end the album on a song with what I feel is a very happy vibe. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. There isn’t much to say that I haven’t already so I’ll say this the Cocteau Twins are one of the three best groups or artists or whatever to come out of Europe.

This is the 80th album I’m rating. I’ve heard some good things about the album but I don’t really know what this album sounds like. Adding to my Playlist - I Looked Away, Bell Bottom Blues, and Key to the Highway. Not Adding to my Playlist - Keep On Growing, Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out, I am Yours, Anyday, Tell the Truth, Why Does Love Got to be so Sad?, Have You Ever Loved a Woman, Little Wing, It’s Too Late, Layla, and Thorn Tree in the Garden. All in all I liked 3/14 songs. This is definitely not one of the best albums of all time. This is why every single music critic should be tortured to death.

This is the 81st album I’m rating. I’ve heard a bunch of songs but never the whole album. I’m expecting good things because those songs were great. Adding to my Playlist - SWLABR. Not Adding to my Playlist - World of Pain, Dance the Night Away, Blue Condition, We’re Going Wrong, and Take It Back. Already Added to my Playlist - Strange Brew, Sunshine of Your Love, Tales of Brave Ulysses, Outside Woman Blues, and Mother’s Lament. All in all I liked 6/11 songs. It feels wrong to rate this so high but at the same time when it was good it was really good.

This is the 82nd album I’m rating. I don’t know what this album is or who any of these people are. Adding to my Playlist - Panis et Circenses, A Minha Menina, O Relógio, Adeus Maria Fulô, Baby, Senhor F, Bat Macumba, Le Premier Bonheur du Jour, Trem Fantasma, Tempo no Tempo, and Ave Genghis Khan. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 11/11 songs. I think I might just love tropicália because this is great. I really haven’t heard anything like this and I am glad that I listened to it before I died else I would’ve missed out on some great catchy songs.

This is the 83rd album I’m rating. I hear the band is very experimental and the lyrics are absolute gibberish but I’ve never listened to them. Adding to my Playlist - Intro, Starálfur, Flugufrelsarinn, Hjartað Hamast (Bamm Bamm Bamm), Olsen Olsen, Ágætis Byrjun, and Avalon. Not Adding to my Playlist - Svefn-g-Englar, Ný Batterí, and Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása. Intro - I know this album is going to be great because usually intros are awful. Svefn-g-Englar - This is long and the entire thing sounds the same to me so I don’t know why it is so long. Ný Batterí - Something about this feels similar to The Anchor song by Björk but it isn’t as good. Olsen Olsen - Apparently this is all gibberish but I can’t tell the difference. All in all I liked 7/10 songs. They weren’t as experimental as I thought they would be but the album was still very interesting. One of Iceland’s best just behind Björk.

This is the 84th album I’m rating. Everybody talks about this album like it’s the greatest thing ever but I doubt it honestly because I’ve listened to Talking Book before. Adding to my Playlist - Sir Duke, Summer Soft, Ordinary Pain, Isn’t She Lovely, and Ngiculela - Es Una Historia - I am Singing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Love’s in Need of Love Today, Have a Talk with God, Village Ghetto Land, Contusion, I Wish, Knocks me Off my Feet, Pastime Paradise, Joy Inside my Tears, Black Man, If It’s Magic, As, and Another Star. All in all I liked 5/17 songs. I swear if Stevie Wonder wasn’t blind nobody would give a shit about his music. So many of the songs felt like they should’ve ended halfway through and it all sounded the same.

This is the 84th album I’m rating. Another one of those albums everybody says is amazing. I’ve never listened to Bowie so who knows if it’ll be good. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Blackstar, ‘Tis a Pity she was a Whore, Lazarus, Sue (Or in a Season of Crime), Girl Loves Me, Dollar Days, and I Can’t Give Everything Away. All in all I liked 0/7 songs. If Bowie never died nobody would give a shit about this album.

This is the 85th album I’m rating. I listened to Maxinquaye by Tricky and it was pretty cool so hopefully this’ll be cool. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Protection, Karmacoma, Three, Weather Storm, Spying Glass, Better Things, Euro Child, Sly, Heat Miser, and Light my Fire. All in all I liked 0/10 songs. Maxinquaye had this really nice grimy, gritty vibe that I really liked that this album lacked. The whole thing felt too clean for me.

This is the 86th album I’m rating. I’ve heard that Summer really likes this shit but I’ve never listened to a song. Adding to my Playlist - Vicar in a Tutu and There is a Light that never goes Out. Not Adding to my Playlist - The Queen is Dead, Frankly, Mr. Shankly, I Know it’s Over, Never had no one Ever, Cemetry Gates, Bigmouth Strikes Again, The Boy with the Thorn in his Side, and Some Girls are Bigger than Others. The Queen is Dead - Summer was wrong. Vicar in a Tutu - I actually like this it feels very fun and energetic but maybe it isn’t cause I’m not really listening to the lyrics. There is a Light that never goes Out - I can’t stop thinking about Summer’s version. All in all I liked 2/10 songs. Wow The Smiths suck everybody lied when they said this album was good.

This is the 87th album I’m rating. I’ve listened to some Bowie before but I absolutely hated it. Adding to my Playlist - Beauty and the Beast, Joe the Lion, Heroes, Sons of the Silent Age, Blackout, V-2 Schneider, Sense of Doubt, Moss Garden, Neuköln, and The Secret Life of Arabia. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. This album is weirdly good. I’m shocked because Blackstar was shockingly awful.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Intro, I Went to the Mirror, and Torch Song. It Wouldn’t Have Made any Difference - This sounds very old but it has a charming quality because of it. Breathless - That intro into this song was sick but the first minute of it doesn’t sound very but that was a perfect transition. This sounds great though. Hello it’s me - I’ve heard this song before I think in That 70’s Show and I kinda hate it. All in all I liked 22/25 songs. Wow this album was fantastic. It sounded a little dated but I think it made it better. Just some fantastic songs all around I just wish he cut those songs that I didn’t like.

This is the 90th album I’m rating. I hate Lou Reed and without Nico I can’t imagine this album being any good. Adding to my Playlist - Candy Says, What Goes on, I’m Set Free, and After Hours. Not Adding to my Playlist - Some Kinda Love, Pale Blue Eyes, Jesus, Beginning to see the Light, That’s the Story of my Life, The Murder Mystery Candy Says - I’m sorry Lou Reed. Some Kinda Love - I just learned that wan’t Lou Reed. Lou Reed this sucks. All in all I liked 4/10 songs. Lou Reed kinda sucks.

Born in the U.S.A. - I for some reason forgot I listened to this which is crazy because it is so unbelievably overplayed. Cover Me - The worse Cover Me. All in all I liked 4/12 songs. This is very overrated.

This is the 96th album I’m rating. I only know him from the Yardbirds. I don’t like the Yardbirds. Honestly, I thought he was in Cream too but I just searched it up and that’s Jack Bruce. Adding to my Playlist - Shapes of Things, Let Me Love You, Morning Dew, You Shook Me, Ol’ Man River, Beck’s Bolero, and I Ain’t Superstitious. This is the 100th album I’m rating. I don’t know what this is but I like the name it seems cool. I don’t what it is but something about this feels different from the other punk albums I’ve listened to. Maybe after listening to so many albums I’ve begun to like the sound or maybe the band is just really really good. Either way I like it a lot.

I’ve heard Aqualung but no other songs. Not the greatest thing in the world but it was ok.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. Pretty cool and pretty obscure. Jane Weaver should be more popular.

Not Adding to my Playlist - EXP. All in all I liked 12/13 songs. Jimi is very good.

This is the hundred sixth album I’m rating. Don't know who they are and this is the first time I'm doing this not on my phone. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Love Vigilantes, The Perfect Kiss, This Time of Night, Sunrise, Elegia, Sooner than you Think, Sub-culture, and Face Up. All in all I liked 0/8 songs. Like The Human League but bad.

This is the hundred seventh album I’m rating. I've listened to The Band before and it was pretty good. Adding to my Playlist - Tears of Rage, To Kingdom Come, In a Station, Caledonia Mission, The Weight, We can Talk, Long Black Veil, Chest Fever, Lonesome Suzie, This Wheel's on Fire, and I Shall be Released Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 11/11 songs. Just as good as The Band.

This is the hundred eight album I’m rating. Fantastic album title by the way but I don't know who they are. Adding to my Playlist - Fairytale of New York, Metropolis, South Australia, Fiesta, Medley: The Recruiting Sergeant/The Rocky Road to Dublin/The Galway Races, Streets of Sorrow/Birmingham Six, and Worms. Not Adding to my Playlist - If I Should Fall from Grace with God, Turkish Song of the Damned, Bottle of Smoke, Thousands are Sailing, Lullaby of London, The Battle March Medley, Sit Down by the Fire, and The Broad Majestic Shannon. Fairytale of New York - Maybe my brother was right when he said that female singers are just better. It's more likely that the male singer just sucks though. All in all I liked 7/15 songs. Worse than Celtic Woman I think.

This is the hundred ninth album I’m rating. I've never liked The Yardbirds that much I've always thought they had made bad music despite a lot of talent. Adding to my Playlist - Lost Women, Over Under Sideways Down, The Nazz are Blue, I Can't Make Your Way, Rack my Mind, Farewell, Hot House of Omagararshid, Jeff's Boogie, He's Always There, and What do you Want. Not Adding to my Playlist - Turn into Earth and Ever Since the World Began. Lost Women - Maybe I was wrong. All in all I liked 10/12 songs. Cool album and surprised me. I really thought this entire album would all be like Turn into Earth.

This is the hundred tenth album I’m rating. I only know him because of How I Met Your Mother. Adding to my Playlist - Honey, Find my Baby, Porcelain, and Run On. Not Adding to my Playlist - Why Does my Heart Feel so Bad?, South Side, Rushing, Bodyrock, Natural Blues, Machete, 7, Down Slow, If Things Were Perfect, Everloving, Inside, Guitar Flute & String, The Sky is Broken, and My Weakness. If Things Were Perfect - Sound a lot like Maxinquaye but bad. All in all I liked 4/18 songs. Sorry Moby like a month ago you would've gotten three stars but not today.

This is the hundred eleventh album I’m rating. This is the second Tom Waits album I'm listening to. I hear this one is very different. This is the hundred twelfth album I’m rating. I haven't listened to a lot of metal so I'm looking forward to this album. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Black Metal, To Hell and Back, Buried Alive, Raise the Dead, Teacher's Pet, Leave me in Hell, Sacrifice, Heaven's on Fire, Countless Bathory, Don't Burn the Witch, and At War with Satan (Preview). All in all I liked 0/11 songs. I hate Black Metal. Awful awful genre.

This is the hundred thirteenth album I’m rating. Genuinely awful name for a band. This is the hundred fifteenth album I’m rating. I've only listened to Whip It, and I didn't like it. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Uncontrollable Urge, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Praying Hands, Space Junk, Monogoloid, Jocko Homo, Too Much Paranoias, Gut Feeling/(Slap Your Mammy), Come Back Jonee, Sloppy (I Saw my Baby Gettin'), and Shrivel-Up. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - A lot worse than the original. All in all I liked 0/11 songs. You know its bad when the best song on the album is a bad cover of an actually good song by a good band.

This is the hundred sixteenth album I’m rating. I've always loved The Rolling Stone but I've never actually listened to their debut album. All in all I liked 6/6 songs. Much better than the other album. This is great and some of the best jazz I've heard. Probably the 3rd best jazz album I've heard in my life behind.

Adding to my Playlist - Natural Mystic, So Much Thing to Say, Guiltiness, The Heathen, Exodus, Jamming, Waiting in Vain, Turn You Lights Down Low, Three Little Birds, and One Love/People Get Ready. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. Bob Marley and especially The Wailers are just as good as everybody has said. Great reggae.

Not as bad as I thought it would be but a lot of the songs were pretty forgettable.

Everybody always talks about how good Rush is and how it is the best band in the world, but this is extremely boring.

This is the hundred thirtieth album I’m rating. I never really liked Ice Cube that much but maybe I just haven't listened to enough of him. Adding to my Playlist - When will they Shoot?, The Predator, It was a Good Day, We Had to Tear this Mothafucka Up, Dirty Mack, Don't Trust 'Em, Gangsta's Fairytale 2, and Check yo Self, Who Got the Camera?. Not Adding to my Playlist - The First Day of School (Intro), I'm Scared (Insert), Wicked, Now I gotta Wet 'Cha, Fuck 'Em (Insert), Integration (Insert), and Say Hi to the Bad Guy. When will they Shoot? -This feels so old but there's something very charming about it. All in all I liked 9/16 songs. A lot of those horrible interludes in rap except Ice Cube calls them inserts. Still a really good album though.

This is a bit better than The Predator. I'm glad that he doesn't really have any of those stupid inserts in this album.

There was a really weird gap between the 70's and the 90's where they started to make awful music like this.

Please get better. Breaking the Girl - The first minute I was like thank God this album isn't complete ass but after listening to more of the song I have no hope left. I Could Have Lied - This feels like a even shittier version of shitty indie. All in all I liked 0/17 songs. Red Hot Chili Peppers sucks. This album is really really bad. Everybody who bought this should be refunded.

This is the 135th album I’m rating. I think Adele is very similar to SZA in a way that I can't separate her music from listening to her on the radio in my mind. Not Adding to my Playlist - Rolling in the Deep, Turning Tables, Don't you Remember, Set Fire to the Rain, He Won't Go, Take it all, One and Only, Lovesong, and Someone Like you. Rolling in the Deep - I've gotten tired of this song after listening to it ever since it released back in 2010. Rumour has it - I've listened to this song a bunch of times before but I haven't gotten tired of it just yet. All in all I liked 2/11 songs. I have listened to Adele far too much. When will people just stop listening to her. Frankly I think her music is very boring.

Adding to my Playlist - Highway to Hell, Girls got Rhythm, Walk All Over You, Touch too Much, Beating Around the Bush, Shot Down in Flames, Get it Hot, If You Want Blood, Love Hungry Man, and Night Prowler. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Highway to Hell - A classic rock song that never gets old that I guess I forgot to add. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. AC/DC is really really good. Others bands like Led Zeppelin disappointed after learning that they're really just singles bands but AC/DC is good all the way through.

Magical Dream - Björk has some good taste. This shit is really really good. All in all I liked 8/8 songs. In 1989 music started to get good again and I'm not talking about Taylor Swift because this shit is amazing. This and The Stones Roses and everything else was a great way to end one of the worst decades in music history.

This is the 140th album I’m rating. Another world album. So far these have been pretty good, and I've liked them a lot more than the UK and US albums so hopefully this will keep up that world streak. Adding to my Playlist - The Retreat Song, Suliram (Indonesian Lullaby), The Click Song, Umhome, Olilili, Lakutshn, Ilanga, Mbube, The Naughty Little Flea, Where Does it Lead?, Nomeva, House of the Rising Sun, Saduva, and Iya Gaduza. Not Adding to my Playlist - One More Dance. The Click Song - This is really really good. Stuff like this makes me wish the list had more music from non-English speaking countries. House of the Rising Sun - I like this version. Very interesting and a lot more interesting than the one by The Animals. One More Dance - I hate that guy. All in all I liked 13/14 songs. Not a perfect album but this is pretty good. Listening to music from other cultures is always interesting. I wonder where all of the Asian albums are though. I've only seen African albums, and I'm pretty sure there aren't any Chinese albums. I don't think there are any Japanese albums either. When are they coming up?

All in all I liked 7/10 songs. It was pretty weird but sometimes that weird was really good. Not bad for my first Kanye album.

Pretty basic pop album. Pretty good though.

All in all I liked 14/14 songs. Annoying like every punk album but in a good way like Germfree Adolescents.

The Cutter- Nevermind. Post-punk is kinda good. All in all I liked 3/10 songs. Literally the best post-punk album I've ever listened to.

Adding to my Playlist - Toys in the Attic, Uncle Salty, Adam’s Apple, Walk this Way, Big Ten Inch Record, Sweet Emotion, No more no more, Round and Round, and You see me Crying. Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Walk this Way - This song feels very nostalgic and I’m not sure why because nobody around me really liked Aerosmith. All in all I liked 9/9 songs. Just some nice classic rock for July 4th.

This is the 153rd album I’m rating. Massive Attack is weird for me because I hated Protection but I loved Maxinquaye so I'm not sure what to think about getting Blue Lines. Adding to my Playlist - Blue Lines, Be Thankful for what You've got, Daydreaming, and Hymn of the Big Wheel. Not Adding to my Playlist - Safe from Harm, One Love, Five Man Army, Unfinished Sympathy, and Lately. One Love - I feel bad for not liking this because I really really liked Maxinquaye and I'm not sure why I don't like this. I hope the rest is better. Blue Lines - This is a lot better. This is the kind of trip hop I like. All in all I liked 4/9 songs. Better than Protection but worse than Maxinquaye. I really like Tricky but I'm not sure about the other members.

Yours is no Disgrace - Just as good as Roundabout. Yes is a great band. All in all I liked 6/6 songs. Yes is great. Araki is right about them.

This is the 156th album I’m rating. Two Aerosmith albums recently. Toys in the Attic was pretty good so I'm assuming this will literally be the greatest album I've ever heard. Adding to my Playlist - Rats in the Cellar, Combination, and Lick and a Promise. Not Adding to my Playlist - Back in the Saddle, Last Child, Sick as a Dog, Nobody's Fault, Get the Lead Out, and Home Tonight. All in all I liked 3/9 songs. I'm not sure if this is actually worse than Toys in the Attic. Maybe this is just me being in an Aerosmith mood that day and me not being in one today. Either way I don't like this.

Help me, Mary - Sounds like Lucinda Williams but a little worse. Flower - This is fantastic. One of the best songs I’ve heard in a while. Johnny Sunshine - This song is great too. The end of this album is great. Gunshy - Great song after great song. All in all I liked 18/18 songs. Felt like the Ramones in the way that it was good in an annoying way mainly from the voice.

Smooth Operator - Not as good as I was expecting it to be. Your Love is King - The past two songs have just been really boring and they've made me feel nothing. All in all I liked 0/9 songs. If Curtis Mayfield was singing this I think it would be a lot better. Either way it would be too smooth for me though.

My Mate Paul - Usually I don't like super repetitive stuff but I might be in a repetitive mood today or David Holmes is really really good. All in all I liked 4/13 songs. Surprisingly good for such a repetitive album.

His voice is kinda annoying but I'll forgive him.

Red Dirt Girl - Not as awful as the rest of the album but still not good. All in all I liked 0/12 songs. Emmylou Harris is as bad as I thought she was. Not nearly as good as Lucinda Williams.

Everybody Wants to Rule the Word - I didn't know this was by Tears for Fears. This song is so shit. I wish they never made it. All in all I liked 0/8 songs. Yeah this is pretty shit.

Adding to my Playlist - Who Says a Funk Band Can't Play Rock?!, Into You, and Cholly (Funk Getting Ready to Roll!). Not Adding to my Playlist - One Nation under a Groove, Groovallegiance, and Promentalshitbackwashpsychosis Enema Squad (The Doo Doo Chasers). One Nation under a Groove - It's too long and not that good. All in all I liked 3/6 songs. I don't think funk is really for me as a genre. Better than metal though.

Everything in its Right Place - If Björk sung this it would probably be good. All in all I liked 2/10 songs. Radiohead isn't that good. Usually I agree with critics but Radiohead is the rare exception.

They deserve to still be popular.

I've also heard that his version of Hallelujah was incredible, but I've always thought the Leonard Cohen version of Hallelujah was better so who knows if it's any good. I wonder where I heard it before. Maybe I just heard the song that it samples. I just remembered where I heard it from. It was a YouTuber. Acid 8000 - This reminds me too much of the last album I listened to. All in all I liked 10/11 songs. This version of Fatboy Slim is much better. The last album was very boring and made me hate big beat. However, this album is much much better even though it does have one song that is a bit too much like Better Living Through Chemistry.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Superfly - This makes me think of Diamond is Unbreakable. All in all I liked 9/9 songs. I’ve listened to two Curtis Mayfield albums and they’ve been some of the best ever.

The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat) - I always thought WASP was a modern term. All in all I liked 10/10 songs. Possibly my favorite blues rock album ever depending on how you classify some of The Rolling Stones’ albums.

This is the two hundred seventh album I’m rating. What is up with all of these weird British albums when they don’t even have basic pop punk albums like A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. This is the two hundred eleventh album I’m rating. I was just listening to Norman Fucking Rockwell! and I'd much rather that album was on this list because I really hate Johnny Cash. I doubt anything here is better than Bartender. Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Not Adding to my Playlist - Wanted Man, Wreck of the Old 97, I Walk the Line, Darlin' Companion, Starkville City Jail, San Quentin, San Quentin (Reprise), A Boy Named Sue, (There'll Be) Peace in the Valley, and Folsom Prison Blues. Darlin' Companion - June Carter Cash's vocals almost make up for my hatred of Johnny Cash's vocals, but it still isn't better than Bartender. All in all I liked 0/10 songs. His voice isn’t as annoying in the 60's but he still isn't as good as Lana Del Rey or Fiona Apple.

This is the two hundred fourteenth album I’m rating. I was listening to some country yesterday, and I really don't like modern country. Adding to my Playlist - House of Memories, Whatever Happened to me, If You want to be my Woman, My Rough and Rowdy Ways, and Mixed Up Mess of a Heart. Not Adding to my Playlist - I'm a Lonesome Fugitive, All of me Belongs to You, Life in Prison, Drink Up and be Somebody, Someone Told my Story, Mary's Mine, and Skid Row. House of Memories - Not as good as Panic! at the Disco but still pleasing. All in all I liked 5/12 songs. Not particularly amazing but I have a soft spot for that country twang so I'll say I liked it.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Billy the Kid, A Hundred and Sixty Acres, They're Hanging Me Tonight, El Paso, Running Gun, and Utah Carol. All in all I liked 6/12 songs. I liked it but not as much as The Louvin Brothers which came out around the same time.

This is the two hundred eighteenth album I’m rating. I listened to some of Sleater-Kinney songs because I loved the album cover, but unfortunately I really do hate them. Adding to my Playlist - Heart Factory, Words and Guitar, Little Babies, and Not What You Want. Not Adding to my Playlist - Dig Me Out, One More Hour, Turn It On, The Drama You've Been Craving, It's Enough, Buy Her Candy, Things You Say, Dance Song '97, and Jenny. Dig Me Out - The instrumentals are so good that I tried my best to like Sleater-Kinney, but it was just too hard to ignore the awful vocals. If Poly Styrene was singing it would be much much better. Heart Factory - How did I miss this? Words and Guitar - I missed so much the first time I listened to them. All in all I liked 4/13 songs. Not awful, but I hate those shrieky vocals. I’m editing this review to say I was wrong and this is a good album. I’m changing the rating too from a 1 to a 5. Little Babies and Words and Guitar are some of the best songs I’ve ever listened to, and punk classics.

Not Adding to my Playlist - Nothing. Eleanor Rigby - I've been an Eleanor Rigby hater for a while now, but now that I listen to it again I can't help but like it. All in all I liked 14/14 songs. I think I like George the best, but Paul is pretty good too.

All in all I liked 0/13 songs. I don't understand why people like this nonsense, but not Haunted Dancehall when they're the same kind of trash.

1st album with group. Good Songs - Nothing. Bad Songs - America Is Waiting, Mea Culpa, Regiment, Help Me Somebody, The Jezebel Spirit, Qu’ran, Moonlight in Glory, The Carrier, A Secret Life, Cone with Us, and Mountain of Needles. I could’ve stopped listening at Qu’ran like many people did but I didn’t because there is value in listening to an album in full even if it isn’t that good. I’ll say this though if you made it quieter and got Kendrick this would be an amazing album.

2nd album with group. Good Songs - Brighton Rock, Killer Queen, Misfire, Bring Back that Leroy Brown, and In the Lap of the Gods…Revisited. Bad Songs - Tenement Funster, Flick of the Wrist, Lily of the Valley, Now I’m Here, In the Lap of the Gods, Stone Cold Crazy, Dear Friends, and She Makes Me (Stormtrooper in Stilettos). Unlike some other people I can respect great songs like Killer Queen even if this might not be the greatest album.

3rd album with group. Good Songs - Mannish Boy, Bus Driver, I Want to be Loved, Jealous Hearted Man, I Can't be Satisfied, The Blues Had a Baby and they Named it Rock and Roll, Deep Down in Florida, Crosseyed Cat, Little Girl, and Walkin' thru the Park. Bad Songs - Nothing. Unlike some other people I can appreciate a rock classic. Muddy Waters probably isn't as good as Little Richard but songs like Mannish Boy were very influential and are classics.

4th album with group. Good Songs - Move Over, Cry Baby, A Woman Left Lonely, Half Moon, Buried Alive in the Blues, My Baby, Me and Bobby McGee, Mercedes Benz, Trust Me, and Get It While You Can. Bad Songs - Nothing. It’s a shame how some people would insult her for her appearance even though she’s an amazing musician.

5th album with group. Good Songs - Roadhouse Blues, Waiting for the Sun, You Make Me Real, Peace Frog, Blue Sunday, Ship of Fools, Land Ho!, The Spy, Queen of the Highway, Indian Summer, and Maggie M'Gill. Bad Songs - Nothing. I've had enough of this classic rock. Where's Fiona Apple? It's not even that is a bad album. I'm just getting annoyed at how oversaturated this list is with classic rock.

6th album with group. This is my first repeat album from this list, and I’ve decided that this is even better on a re-listen. The Doors are great. Good Songs - The Changeling, Love Her Madly, Been Down So Long, Cars Hiss by my Window, L.A. Woman, L’America, Hyacinth House, Crawling King Snake, The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat), and Riders on the Storm. Bad Songs - Nothing.

7th album with group. Before anything else I want to say that this is one of the best album covers of all time, up there with When the Pawn… and Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea. This album is pretty good but not as good as Pet Sounds. I will say though that Surf’s Up stands out as pretty good and wouldn’t feel out of place on Pet Sounds. Good Songs - Don’t Go Near the Water, Long Promised Road, Take a Load Off Your Feet, Disney Girls (1957), Student Demonstration Time, Feel Flows, Lookin’ at Tomorrow (A Welfare Song), A Day in the Life of a Tree, ‘Til I Die, and Surf’s Up. 8th album with group. It doesn’t sound like it but he looks like bad Blonde on Blonde Dylan. Good Songs - Racing in the Street, Prove it All Night, and Darkness on the Edge of Town. Bad Songs - Badlands, Adam Raised a Cain, Something in the Night, Candy’s Room, The Promised Land, Factory, and Streets of Fire.

9th album with group. This is a repeat album, and I’ve decided this just isn’t as good on a second listen. It’s just too pop for me. Bad Songs - Rags to Rags, Beautiful Freak, Not Ready Yet, Flower, Guest List, Mental, Spunky, and Your Lucky Day in Hell.

11th album with group. I wanted to relisten and rerate this. I’ve been thinking I might’ve been too harsh. After listening to it again though my opinions are pretty much the same except I’ll swap Elegie for Kimberly. Good Songs - Gloria: In Excelsis Deo, Redondo Beach, and Kimberly. Bad Songs - Birdland, Free Money, Break It Up, Land: Horses/Land of a Thousand Dances/La Mer, and Elegie.

12th album with group. I don’t understand why this very boring album was picked, but there wasn’t enough room for any pop-punk representation. Good Songs - A Walk Across the Rooftops. Bad Songs - Tinseltown in the Rain, From Rags to Riches, Stay, Easter Parade, Heatwave, and Automobile Nation.

13th album with group. After a relisten, I’ve decided that I hate Paul Simon. Art Garfunkel has long been overhated. Good Songs - Nothing. Bad Songs - The Boy in the Bubble, Graceland, I Know What I Know, Gumboots, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, Under African Skies, Homeless, Crazy Love, Vol. II, That was Your Mother, and All Around the World or the Myth of Fingerprints.

14th album with group. I really do just love music from the 50’s. Everything about 50’s music is just so enjoyable, but I would say that how jazzy it is is probably the main factor. 15th album with group. I’m a proud Stevie Wonder hater. He wasn’t innovative or good, and he wouldn’t be remembered if he wasn’t blind. I think being blind makes him an interesting character which in turn made everyone think his music was good. Good Songs - Smile Please and Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away. Bad Songs - Too Shy to Say, Boogie on Reggae Women, Creepin’, You Haven’t Done Nothin’, It Ain’t No Use, They Won’t Go When I Go, Bird of Beauty, and Please Don’t Go.

17th album with group. I love lo-fi stuff. I’ve always thought music was better when it was a little raw. For example, Helter Skelter is the best Beatles song. Great album I’ve never heard of before. 18th album with group. Yesterday I was looking at a bunch of lists of the top albums of the 21st century, and for some reason I kept on seeing Funeral so I have high expectations. This does not disappoint though. It is much better than The Suburbs. Nice mellow indie rock, Good Songs - Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels), Neighborhood #2 (Laika), Une Annee Sans Lumiere, Neighborhood #3 (Power Out), Neighborhood #4 (7 Kettles), Crown of Love, Wake Up, Haiti, Rebellion (Lies), and In the Backseat. Bad Songs -

19th album with group. I saw this album in the hall of fame and was immediately interested. Amazing album start to finish. Chicken Bones and Queen of Denmark stand out as especially good. Good Songs - TC and Honeybear, Marz, Where Dreams go to Die, Sigourney Weaver, Chicken Bones, Silver Platter Club, It's Easier, Outer Space, Jesus Hates Faggots, Caramel, Leopard and Lamb, and Queen of Denmark. Bad Songs - Nothing.

20th album with group. Very basic and forgettable. I’ve probably heard 40 other albums on this list just like it. Good Songs - Firefly and Bad Liquor. Bad Songs - Somewhere, Laughingstock, Lonely, Pale and Skinny Girl, Blue and Grey Shirt, Now You're Defeated, Jenny, Western Sky, Highway 5, and Last Harbor.

21st album with group. Another repeat album. Not as great as the first time I listened to it, but it’s still good. The songs drag on a bit, but this is my favorite metal album to date. Good Songs - Tomorrow’s Dream, Changes, Supernaut, Cornucopia, and St. Vitus’ Dance. Bad Songs - Wheels of Confusion, FX, Snowblind, Laguna Sunrise, and Under the Sun.

22nd album with group. I don’t like hardcore or post-hardcore. Anything more hardcore than Sex Pistols is probably too hardcore for me. Good Songs - Nothing. Bad Songs - What We Do Is Secret, Communist Eyes, Land of Treason, Richie Dagger’s Crime, American Leather, Lexicon Devil, Manimal, Our Way, We Must Bleed, The Other Newest One, Let’s Pretend, Dragon Lady, The Slave, and Shut Down (Annihilation Man).

23rd album with group. I hate Stevie Wonder. I hate how Songs in the Key of Life is always at the top of the greatest albums of all time lists. I hate how boring this album is. I hate Stevie Wonder. Good Songs - Big Brother. Bad Songs - You Are the Sunshine of my Life, Maybe Your Baby, You and I, Tuesday Heartbreak, You've Got it Bad Girl, Superstition, Blame it on the Sun, Lookin' for Another Pure Love, and I Believe (When I Fall in Love it Will be Forever).

26th album with group. I cannot believe the Toy Story guy got two albums on the list, and this one is ass. Good Songs - Rednecks, Birmingham, and Rollin’. Bad Songs - Marie, Mr. President (Have Pity on the Working Man), Guilty, Louisiana 1927, Kingfish, Naked Man, A Wedding in Cherokee County, and Back on my Feet Again.

27th album with group. This is some real ass, and it isn’t even punk. Good Songs - The Once Over Twice, We’re Desperate, and Year 1. Bad Songs - Adult Books, Universal Corner, I’m Coming Over, It’s Who You Know, In this House that I Call Home, Some Other Time, White Girl, Beyond and Back, Back 2 the Base, and When Our Love Passed Out On the Couch.

27th album with group. This is a repeat. I can’t believe I liked this the first time. The instrumentals are boring and repetitive, and the lyrics are awful. Good Songs - Who Says a Funk Band Can’t Play Rock?! Bad Songs - One Nation Under a Groove, Groovalleigance, Promentalshitbackwashpsychosis Enema Squad (The Doo Doo Chasers), Into You, and Cholly (Funk Getting Ready to Roll!)

I don’t know what you call this type of pop, but whatever it is I hate it and everything it might have influenced.

I have no idea what this is, but Wikipedia says it’s noise pop. Absolute trash. Wikipedia also says it’s proto-shoegaze, but this is too awful for me to believe that.

This is a very mediocre salsa album. I will say though that it is representative of the genre but plain and boring.

Pretty meh album. Repetitive and boring, and some songs really drag on.

Whenever I listen to these acclaimed albums I expect a lot, but this was a very boring and painful experience from start to finish. I’ve listened to 1 Talking Heads song in the past, and now that I’ve listened to an album I’ve decided I was right, the Talking Heads suck.

Out of the 3 Arcade Fire albums I’ve listen to so far this one is the worst, and it actually makes me mad. I know that with 1001 albums on this list sone of them will be bad, but it seems like filler like this makes up half the list.

The Rolling Stones are probably my 2nd favorite band, and this is what I consider quintessential Stones. Not the best, but it's good rock n' roll.

I love how jazzy this entire album is. I think the opening track is the best opening track ever. Not in terms of quality because that'd be Fiona Apple, but in terms of how good it is as a opening track.

It’s cool that James Murphy became a famous musician at such an advanced age, but this just isn’t good. I even had high expectation from "New York, I Love You but You’re Bringing Me Down." I hate all of this weird electronica stuff, song’s still amazing though.

It’s not bad, but it’s not really anything. And I hate that.

The immediate thing that jumps out to me is that this sounds nothing like 1968. Ahead of its time. Drags a bit, but pretty good.

I was expecting ass, and I got it. I wasn’t expecting this though. Pretty interesting for mainstream pop.

Not my favorite reggae album or even my favorite reggae-punk album. But it’s fun, and what more do you need?

First of all, I want to say that Fiona Apple's cover of "Across the Universe" is much better than Bowie's. Second of all, I want to say that Bowie is very hit or miss for me, and this is a miss. Not in the usual way though. Usually, Bowie does something very experimental that's just awful, but this is extremely boring. I'll forget this album next week.

Chill and easy to listen to hip-hop. The beats are good, the flow is nice, and it isn’t bogged down with interludes like a lot of the albums from this era are.

Not the greatest album of all time, but it is inoffensive and pleasing. I wouldn't avidly recommend this, but I would play it if I needed background music that everyone would enjoy.

Bad trip hop. I had high expectations going into this because Kanye said this was one of his favorite albums of all time, and the other albums that he liked were pretty good. This was pretty boring, and I'm not sure what you call that effect they put on her voice but it was awful.

Not special and not good. There are maybe a few good minutes in this album, and unfortunately they're not on the same song.

On a re-listen this album is much worse, but I still think it's good because although an unconventional choice I think "Sunday Girl" is a top 100 song of all time.

I cannot believe that there is a Dexy’s Midnight Runners album on here that isn’t the one with "Come On Eileen." This was incredibly boring, and I tuned out for most of it like it was muzak. I will say though "Reminisce Part Two" at least wasn’t basic. Not good but not basic.

I remember listening to this on the radio thinking about how ass it is. I get that it's electronic music, but how can they have no shame in making 11 5 minute songs of abrasive trash.

I can feel the influence of this album. I can tell this is proto-punk. I hear the similarities between this and Horses, but it isn't as good. I want it to commit fully to punk, but I guess there was no punk for it commit to.

Wikipedia says this is alt-country, but it feels more like pop from the early 20th century. It isn't though. This is 1988 album with a very dated sound, but it's a good one.

I was not expecting ambient electronica based on my previous Goldfrapp experience, but it's what I got. I cannot believe you would do this Alison Goldfrapp.

Jeru sounds really cool. He has big beats, a nice voice, great lyrics, and a really good flow.

Nas is exactly as good as I thought he was. It doesn’t sound very unique though. Maybe it’s a sign of his influence.

On one hand I love diversity. On the other hand I hate nu metal. It’s good that this is here, but I hate it.

Bob Dylan has an annoying voice, but the music's good and the lyrics are too. It's not Nobel worthy, but I like Dylan.

There's some good songs on here. I can tell why they're popular: they've got a knack for a good melody. I can't get over the style though. This is a style that dominated popular music, and with anything popular it's easy to get tired of.

This album isn't all bad. I liked the piano in "Mary Ann," but unfortunately that's it. Alice Cooper sucks.

When I heard this I thought it was from the 80's. How is this from 1992? It sounds dated even for the 90's.

It’s pretty cool listening to this because of how much it sounds like a lot of the indie and alt stuff that’s coming out now. For example, "Late Night, Maudlin Street" sounds a lot like "In My Mind" by Amanda Palmer. Unfortunately Morrissey also sounds like shitty Bowie.

All of these songs start off okay then devolve into complete nonsense.

On a relisten I’ve decided that George Harrison is the best Beatle, and he remains underrated.

I want to like this, but it’s too long and too weird. I was right the first time around.

If you asked somebody to imagine the most country country they could think of it still wouldn't be as country as this. Country is best when it experiments, and this just doesn't.

It drags on a bit towards the end, but I cannot deny Jimi Hendrix's talent. The guitar is just too good.

Tracy Chapman is great on relisten, and she is probably the best modern folk singer.

The fact this is on the list is making me go insane because it means that film soundtracks are allowed on this list, and they pick the soundtrack for The Virgin Suicides!?! I kinda get it though because as somebody who hates ambient music this is actually good.

This album has good pieces, but it’s way too long. Walking Wounded was a much better drum and bass album that sounded very similar in style.

Worst Doors album, and I've listened to all of the ones on this list so far. Still good though because it's The Doors.

Boring review for a boring album.

Listening to this I'm realizing why The Virgin Suicides is good and this isn't: The Virgin Suicides was half as long; it was musically more interesting; and it had breaks from the ambient stuff.

Listening to this album again I have to say "Vicar In a Tutu" is truly one of a kind, and I smiled when it came on; however, the rest is shit except for "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" which is above average, but it is not nearly as good as "Vicar In a Tutu."

This album has a lot of good parts, but those long instrumentals are dragging it down in my mind.

I took a break because it was so boring. After taking a break this album felt much better to listen to. I wonder how many other albums I need to just give a little time to.

Listenable but it feels like music meant to be forgotten about: background music.

Best part were those last 6 minutes: pure silence and instrumentals that sounded nothing like The Offspring.

Lauryn Hill is a bad person and an even worse musician. It's not good, and it drags on too long. Apple Music is insane for putting this album as the best of all time, but I shouldn't have expected much because the rest of that list was shit.

The first time I listened to this I put it in my top 50. Now, I’m wondering how his voice is so annoying. He needs to be kicked out, and that girl should become the lead singer.

I've been waiting for this album for a while now. I love how weird it is. Also, apparently very popular in Slovenia.

This is shockingly good. It’s 76 minutes long, and it doesn’t feel like it in the way that Double Nickels on the Dime feels long. One of the best jazz albums ever.

A lot of this is annoying, but this is the first psychedelic rock album ever and it has some really good parts that show it's influence.

Other people might say this is shitty soft rock akin to The Beach Boys, but they're wrong; this album isn't soft or hard, and it's pretty good.

This is one of the few albums that I'm willing to acknowledge as good even if I don't like it myself. All of the reviews for this album mention how smooth it is, and they either deride or praise the album for it. And that is why I think this is an "objectively" good album; Sade had the goal of creating a smooth album, and they, the band, accomplished that goal. If a band can bring their artistic vision to life how can you not say the album is good? I'm still giving it a 1 though because I hate Sade. I will admit it's better on a re-listen though.

I've had enough with these Jeff Buckley worshippers talking about how beautifully haunting it or whatever string of adjectives they use. Jeff Buckley is not good, and if he never died he'd be just another guy like Son House.

After 3 albums it’s safe to say The Beatles are actually good. I am now a reformed Beatles hater.

I'm shocked at how good this is. I thought that Joni Mitchell only had one good album and that album was Blue, but this is amazing and maybe even better than Blue.

It’s really weird and probably unlistenable for most people but I love it. Miles Davis had by far the best selling jazz album ever and he still pushed the boundaries of jazz.

I came into this expecting to hate the album, but I actually really like it. It sounds modern in a strange way, and it’s very catchy.

I love the Violent Femmes. Nobody else really sounds like them because folk-punk style is very unique. The music is incredibly catchy, and it's amazing how the Violent Femmes influenced the alt-rock/college-rock scene.

On a re-listen this is not as bad as I thought, but it's not a masterpiece. It's not nu-metal, but a lot of the songs give me that same feeling of rap where it doesn't belong.

Rare world album that I hate.

Organs are rare, but I love them as much as pianos and keyboards. Great and unique sound.

This album is way too long.

It’s Common’s album, but Kanye is the one of the best producers ever.

Going into this I thought it’d be another shitty British that nobody cares about, but this album really impressed me. It’s rare for an instrumental to leave an impression on me other than, "Hey, that’s pretty nice," but this album has already made its mark. Throughout listening to this album I couldn’t stop smiling. Best classical album ever, and "Penguin Cafe Single" may be the best instrumental ever.

Instrumentals are pretty nice, but Bryan Ferry has one of the worst voices ever. Completely unlistenable and it ruins the entire album kinda like Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground.
