Opening song is a bit tame
"Play For Today": cool bassline, fun guitar playing, upbeat drumming. Nothing really happens in the song
Ugh, this album just isn't for me
it's a bit boring, and the vocalist is a bit whiney
"A Forest" is fine, more dynamic song, understandable that this is the most popular song
Will likely never listen to this album again 🤷
back-to-back bangers, amazing album
Great album, though i prefer In Utero
Great Album, vocal performance is really good.
Great Album, fun and bouncy.
Listened with headphones, which was a little annoying with the hard panning of rhythm instruments on the left channel, melodic in the right, and vocals in center.
Switching to Mono made it sound a bit weak. But this is not a criticism on the album, only a minor annoyance
Quite chill
Didn't really move me in any way
The duo vocals got stale quickly
It was okay, won't be adding it to my library, but it was a pleasant enough listen
I give it a 3
Score chart:
5 - Adding it, and will listen to it several more times
4 - I liked it, might listen to it again a few times
3 - It was okay, worthwhile listen, not opposed to listening to it again
2 - Not my style, or just didn't hit for me, probably won't listen to it again
1 - I did not like it, unwilling to hear it again
hadn't heard this song before, but thought Black Sabbath was not my kind of music at all.
I was positively surprised, the album has a lot of different sounding songs, with very different vibes to them.
4
a funny album, not quite my style but I can see the appeal
Hell yeah!
Incredible album
amazing album, love it
I do believe Pink Moon is a stronger album, but this is still a masterpiece
such an iconic album, just classic song back-to-back
easy 5
I mean its fine
the guitar sound is very harsh, which is cool
vocals are a bit weak
Johhny Cash is really funny
4
It was very long
only had time to listen to about half of it, but what i did listen to was very good!
wayyy to much talking between songs, was that normal in the 50s?
i like the vibes, really good to work to
Glad:
really fun and energetic. The saxophone and piano sound amazing,
Freedom Rider:
Not as fun as the previous, flute sounds really good, vocals are weak. all the instruments feel detached from each other somehow. Weakest song on the record IMO
Empty Pages:
Great bass line, and the vocals are much better here. I like a good organ shredding as much as the next person, but I think the organist at a few points drags it out a bit long, so it lost its coolness. Other than that, the organ is really really cool.
Stranger To Himself:
Its fine, a bit much "guitar virtuoso"-ing for my taste
John Barleycorn: weak vocals again, but the acoustic guitar sounds great, and the flute is great again. The duet makes the vocals worse in my opinion. A vocalist with a stronger voice would make this song alot better, and drop the duet
Every Mother's Son:
Vocals almost do it for me, the song is okay i guess
i am torn between a 2 and a 3
Its good, a bit weird to listen to it while working due to the moaning in some tracks. but overall a solid album
Classic Coldplay. I consider Parachutes a better album, but this is a solid album in its own right.
A lot of really songs. Some misses.
Vocals can be a bit weak at times.
I liked it, but not enough to listen to it more
I mean I see the appeal, if i was an angsty teen when this was released, I would probably be all over this.
There are a lot of solid songs in this album. The vocals are a little whiney at times, which is the point i guess 🤷
In the Backseat is probably my favorite song on the record.
Oof
The first song is a real struggle to listen through. It sounds like the shitty unmastered demo a friend of yours sends to you to see if you like it.
Some of the other songs pick up, but never to the point of me liking it.
I had never really heard alot of Creedence Clearwarer, other than the obvious songs. But i really like this album, not my usual style, but i really enjoyed it.
Weird rating an album i have listened to plenty before, when i was younger and angrier. It is still a solid album, classic green day. I won't be re-adding it to my rotation, so that makes it a 4
Way too long, didn't get through it. Feels weird that this is on the list at all? Checked the score, and it places the bottom 20 of albums reviewed on this site, which makes sense. It does sound like some cool PS2 era main menu music for a racing game or something, but 2 hours of that is pushing it
Not my style, a bit cheesy
It's relaxing to listen to. a bit on the boring side, but nothing bad to say about it either.
Heard very little fleetwood mac before, other than the most popular songs. This seems more folky. I like it
This kind of rock isn't exactly my vibe.
Some of the songs are fun, but damn do rock bands like guitar solos 🙃
Never really heard any Wu-tang songs.
Makes me really want to play a skateboard game.
There are some iconic songs on this album, and i recognise that Linkin Park is a popular and highly influential band. Their music is just not for me 🤷

This was exhausting to listen to.
Previously, i'd barely heard any of Bruce Springsteen's songs, besides the most famous ones.
I struggle to appreciate Bruce Springsteen's songs. This album, even more. There is nothing wrong with any of the songs, I am struggling with coming with any meaningful critique, but I am still not enjoying it. I am just not feeling anything when listening to it.
Very well produced!
Enjoying this.
Had only heard of Depeche Mode by name
The songs do seem a bit too similar to each other for my tastes.
3 or 4
a few good songs. alot of mid songs. a few terrible ones
I read that this was an avant-garde jazz album before listning to it, which helped me set my expectations.
This is not an easy album to listen to. It goes everywhere, and switches up the genres at the drop of a hat. I usually listen to my 1001-album of the day, at work. This is not a good album to listen to while working. But consider all that, i really like it. I doubt i'll listen to it, again though
This is an amazingly good bossa nova album.
Really cool sound, very entertaining to listen to
I'd neither heard of the album, nor the band. But this was really good. Stylistically it is all over the place, switching up the feel of a song mid-track, but it works. Some songs sound a bit like Queen, some like the Beach Boys, then suddenly the bongo drums are brought out, or a sudden samba bossa nova break. I love it. This band sounds like they have a lot of fun creating music.
Easily a 5
really weird, but super funny

I mean its slipknot 🤷 I usually listen to my daily album at work, and Slipknot isn't my first choice for working music exactly 😅 I had a metal phase when i was 18, and i can enjoy some metal, but i rarely seek it out on my own volition.
I liked the message, but the music didn't really capture me
