Rock muy suave. Blandito. Melódico.
the weather can take this one back to the studio
A decent half psychedelic / half alternative new wave hybrid, but certainly nothing I’d go back to. Second half is EONS above the first. STANDOUTS: -Chocolate Cake -Fall At Your Feet -Whispers and Moans -There Goes God -All I Ask -As Sure As I Am -Italian Plastic -She Goes On
I don’t know much about Crowded House. I’m digging this album. Easy to listen to, hook-heavy 90’s pop. Kind of reminds me of Toad the Wet Sprocket a bit.
Hi Sebi hope you're having a great day :3
Just some pleasant pop rock. No standout good or bad tracks. 6-7/10
It’s scientifically proven that if you listen to this album for 30 days straight it will increase the estrogen levels in your body and you will grow tits:
Todavía se atreven a criticar a la gente new age 'There's no rebellion, just a chance to be lazy'. Songs: It's only natural, Four Seasons In One Day.
I’ve lived in New Zealand for 8yrs and now listened to one of the best New Zealand albums ever. Not an Aussie album.
I actually really like this album. I would actually look up more by them and consider getting an album for my playlist.
Had never heard of this band before. I liked them, and they have a cool, fresh sound but it didn't wow me either. A good easy listen, but I'm not itching to revisit immediately
Not my thing.I liked the Italian Plastic and Weather with You
I don’t know. That album did nothing for me. It was competent but felt completely soulless for some reason.
May need to listen to it again but it did not really catch my interest.
If nothing else this project is acquainting me with the music of a lot of names/bands I've heard of but never listened to. This was really not to my taste though.
Weather With You is a definite highlight of the album. It's good but nothing spectacular.
Mi canción favorita fue "Italian Plastic", seguida de "It's Only Natural"
En especial me gustaron 'Four Seasons In One Day', 'All I Ask' y 'As Sure As I Am'.
It was good just different
Meh. Bland late 80s/early 90s pop rock.
No nyt on aikuisrockia isolla A:lla. Normaalisti saan näppylöitä tällaisesta musiikista mutta täähän toimii ihan ok! Liekö keski-ikä iskemässä?
Nice, easy listen. Good for working to or as background music.
Pretty good 👍.
Enjoyed this album. Sounded like the real people mixed with the bluetones
It was certainly not the album with the hit on it. It was a solid pop albun with the angst one expects from crowded house, but nothing really stuck out as a single to me.
super eclectic and mellow.
This album didn't really do it for me. There's nothing wrong with it, and I suspect if I were in a different mood it might've come across as more compelling. As it is, it's somewhere between 2 and 3 stars, and I'm not feeling charitable this a.m.: 2 stars.
I felt like this album got better as it went along. It's not something that I will probably seek out in the future, but I would be super excited if this was playing in a grocery store while I was shopping 3/5
4,5/5
Pari todella kovaa biisiä ja muutenkin ihan kivasti soiva.
A few keepers in this one!
Weather with you and Four seasons in one day are nice but the rest seems pretty mediocre. Okay album overal but nothing extraordinary
Decent album. But, like many albums on this list, forgettable after the listen.
Cool, nice, didn't know "Weather is with you" is their song
About halfway through the album, somebody starts shouting during the outro to a song. It got my attention, because it was the first time anybody in the band showed any emotion. I'm probably being too cynical, but it sure feels like Crowded House worked their way joylessly through a checklist. Scathing indictment of American culture? Check. Multiple instrumental solos that are just long enough to display some talent? Check. Children's choir singing backing vocals? You betcha. The one thing they forgot to pack? A bit of passion. It shouldn't feel like a chore to listen to a 48-minute pop rock album, but here we are. Best track: Fall at Your Feet
Wow what a find
Going in, I had no idea who these guys were, but after a couple songs I was absolutely sure they were from Australia or New Zealand. A jangly guitar sound and an intuitive understanding of Western music theory make for songs that are both catchy and beautiful, and for one reason or another they're pretty strong signals for a band being from Oz or NZ. (However, it was a little surprising that these guys weren't from Dunedin.) I'm going with a 4 for now, solely because I'm extremely sparing with my 5s, but there's an extremely strong probability that I bump this up on RateYourMusic a year or two from now. Best song: It's Only Natural was really good, and How Will You Go was a magical closer, although there are a ton to choose from.
After two listens, it finally clicked that this band has a very R.E.M. feel to them. I really enjoyed it, even if at times the instruments sound like they're from the Spyro video game series. Great album from front to back. Favorite tracks: "Tall Trees", "Weather With You", "It's Only Natural"
1991. Key Songs: Four Seasons In One Day, Fall At Your Feet, Weather With You
Was good as an album just not my type of music that's why I rated it low
Pretty decent poppy new wave album. Not very original, but fun nonetheless. Closer to a 3.5
i like them and was surprised na Don't Dream it's over guys nga pala to
Boring!
