Pretty chill reggae, but including this while having 0 Toots & The Maytals albums should be illegal.

I think i'm alive. Probably just breathing. This album has it all. One of the coolest thing ever recorded. Those 3 opening songs are out of this world. One of the best album closer ever in Cop Shoot Cop. A perfect album cover.
Headphones on. Sit down in a nice chair. Dream away. Absolutely brilliant and beautiful.
Show Biz Kids is nice. The Man Don't Give a Fuck by Super Furry Animals has taken that sample. But Donald Fagen is being an ass about it so that's -1!
Not bad for an album that was recorded in 2 days and cost 600 punds to make!
3.5! Some boring songs but Powderfinger and Hey Hey, My My are great.
Boring
Raw. As. Hell.
Trampled Under Foot is funky as hell!
The super cool Stevie Nicks doing great vocals on Angels, Sara and Sisters Of The Moon. Thats All For Everyone and Not That Funny are great as well.
Väldigt nära en 1:a. Skärpning!
"This show is being recorded for an album release on Columbia Records, and you can't say 'hell' or 'shit' or anything like that." "How does that grab you, Bob?"
Lee Scratch Perry helped him write Big Muff. Good song!
Out of the blue is perfect. The whole album could be a Bowie album.
Boring!
The original version of No Woman No Cry is pretty amazing compared the the more famous live version.
Cool Helter Skelter cover. Best songs: Switch, Hong Kong Garden and Nictone Stain.
Härlig salsa från 50-talet!
Best: Rags to Rags & Mental
Buddy Holly!
Love the funky bass. Guitars could have been Johnny Marr. Perfect mix of early madchester-sound and more depressing post-punk. Best: Barmby, Spoilt Victorian Child, Cruisers Creek och My New House.
Jump Into The Fire!
Trad jazz utan blåsinstrument, bara piano, trummor och bas. Lite väl slött. Objektivt: 5 Subjektivt: 2 Totalt: 3!
Working Day and Night och It's the falling in love är sköna!
Inte hans bästa, men en extra stark 3:a! Perfekta albumet om man vill begå självmord!
Lite mer rockigt än The Boatmans Call.
80-talet komprimerat till ett album.
Någon typ av Slovensk industriell rock. Två(!) covers på Live is Life.
The Life and Times of Little Richard. Little Richard hade hon "the fastest tongue in the west". She opened up her legs and he put it in her. He was having sex with Angel, I was jacking off, and Angel was sucking me when they introduced his name on stage. He finished and went to the stage still fastening himself up. I’ll never forget that. He came and he went.”
Indeed!
Bäst: Scenes from an Italian Restaurant.
Mer klassisk jazz jämfört med hans andra i listan. Inte lika roligt men perfekt som bakgrunds-musik.
Bäst: Through A Long and Sleepless Night Dock lite för segt för högre betyg.
Börjar bra men tappar lite mot andra halvan.
Jazz fusion! Rockigt med el-gitarrer och väldigt experimentellt.
Instrumental hip hop. Härliga grejer.
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
Son, I'm 30 I only went with your mother 'cause she's dirty
6
FACT-275! Brilliant. Fun fact: none of the song titles are mentioned in the lyrics.
Ganska tamt. Poppigt och väldigt ospännande.
Hardcore :(
Lite Lush-känsla över ganska många låtar, inte minst Did You See Butterflies. Slow Motion är 5/5. Coolt folk-sound blandat med drömpop.
Stay With Me och Memphis är bra grejer!
They were pretty decent before this one as well, but this is where it really took off. It's the start of a brilliant run of albums with Setting Sons and Sound Affects coming after this. Especially love the last tracks on here; A' Bomb in Wardour Street and Down In The Tubestation At Midnight.
Ordentligt sväng i Live And Let Live!
Otrolig avslutning på albumet med Mrs Robinson -> A Hazy Shade Of Winter -> At The Zoo
Mysigt men långt ifrån hans bästa.
Creation Records at their absolute peak! They released this one, Loveless AND Screamadelica all within 2 months! Good job, Alan!
Its a bit all over the place with mixed genres, but still somehow, much like Sandinista by The Clash, the end result come together(!) as a great album. Had no idea Eric Claption played guitar on Whil My Guitar Gently Weeps!
Not something i enjoy as background music but when actively listening with headphones it's really nice and almost hypnotic.
What a lovely, funky, jazz album! Really cool with the organ. Best track: Minor Chant.
Pretty bad. The voice of the singer made me want to hit him.
Lovely PJ Harvey duet.
£30 well spent on vocalist Claire Torry!
Ganska tamt förutom Psycho Killer och Pulled Up...
A perfect debut and post-punk album. They turned a bit more artsy and mellow after this one. I love the rawness on here Best: Crocodiles, Villiers Terrace
Relaxing!
Älskar And It Stoned Me.
As sicmagazine so nicely put it: "For 64 minutes they were the greatest band on the planet."
A hipsters dream.
Blue Lines, Protection, Mezzanine. One of the greatest run of albums ever!
Stop being a racist and get back with Marr!
16 Shells From a Thirty-Ought-Six!
He has nothing on Little Richard! 3 thanks to the album cover.
Annoying.
Bra jävla ös här.
Väldigt ojämn.
Booooooooring.
Very much like Joni Mitchell it gets a bit exhausting listening to a whole album with the type of voice she has.
Nice jazz!
Its no Different Class. A bit too long. Best: Help The Aged, This Is Hardcore, I'm A Man.
That cover photo is taken from Fat Peoples Festival, in Danville 1983, and the guy is still not identified. But was there ever a festival like that? Rabbit hole warning! https://www.reddit.com/r/nonmurdermysteries/comments/lw1wlj/the_identity_of_the_man_on_fatboy_slims_album/ And the the songs are great too! Best: Rockafeller Skank, Gangster Trippin, Praise You.
Absolutely not what i expected. Weird and funny lyrics. To do the Wall Street Shuffle Let your money hustle Bet you'd sell your mother You can buy another
Nice!
Not as boring as expected. Southbound Again was pretty nice.
Master Of Sparks was a brilliant tune. If only the second half were as good as the first.
Liked how its divided in two very different halves!
The perfect energy booster.
I could do without a few of the blues covers, and i could definitely do without Robert Plant screaming like a giant baby on most of the songs.
They should have just looped Africano for 40 minutes.
Oh, fuckin' hell.
Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean. Not a bad run of songs.
Talking Heads if they were bad.
Spacey live album that has its moments.
First record with a computerized image on the album cover! And what a record it is!
Doesn't really hold up to its excellent album cover. Singer has some great Joni Mitchell vibes. A sailors life developed into something really nice.
Cooler than expected!
Criminally generic and boring.
Nice voice!
Simply too much pop, but Dear Jessie was nice!
Good and simple debut!
Unexpectedly boring.
What the hell was that?!
Beautiful but maybe a bit boring at times? "I Could Be Dreaming" was nice.
Party!
Björk is on fire.
Gäsp!
Pitchfork electro pop.
Far from the best post punk album but it was clear that Inspiral Carpets got a lot of inspiration from these guys! Some great use of the hammond and horns.
I'm a sucker for this type of chilled acoustic folk music. He has the perfect voice for it as well.
Absolutely terrible modern R&B.
Nice and simple 60s pop. They obviously influenced the Beatles.
Not bad, but she's no Kate Bush (even though she's trying her best).
How many times can you sing 'baby' on an album? Answer within!
Spretigt. Mest klassisk hårdrock men även en del funk, metal osv. Något med rösten som jag inte gillar.
Pretty average new wave synth pop.
Those drums are just too good for a 1.
En ganska blek Nick Drake-kopia.
Pretty chill reggae, but including this while having 0 Toots & The Maytals albums should be illegal.
Love the flow and how the tracks seamlessly goes into each other. Etoh was a highlight.
Rätt bra story telling på en del låtar men överlag ganska tamt. Bra röst!
As far as boring singer songwriter album goes this one is pretty decent. The Byrds guy.
You would have thought that making one album that is a soundtrack to a movie that doesnt exist is enough for most artists. But here's the second one from this man. And this one was great fun. First track is some Madchester/Acid House fusion with Jarvis Cocker singing and then its just a wild ride into weird jazzy and funky tracks until suddenly Nick Cave is appearing on The Sweetest Embrace with his lovely vocals. Nice!
It's just way too smooth.
As if Tracy Chapman merged with Joni Mitchell. Love the funky tracks.
Too long but quite a few good tracks. Reminded me of R.E.M.
Straight up punk!
Strong Blondie-vibes!
Like their upbeat stuff more. Not really a fan of the synth-pop ballads on here.
0/5, that was terrible in all possible ways. Just generic radio pop done in a bad way.
"This is the second Simply Red song on this tape. One's unforgivable. Two's a war crime. Can I fast-forward?"
Boring country.
Nice voice!
Mostly pretentious and whiny as usual with Radiohead. But Jigsaw Falling Into Place bumps it up to a 3.
Really good when it's good but just as bad when it's bad. Horrible album cover!
Awesome female punk with horns!
Nice bossa nova!
Has Everyday People on it so cannot give it less than a 4. Also better than There's A Riot Going On.
Payback time. From wiki: "Gray believes that the success of White Ladder paved the way for 'soul-baring' artists such as James Blunt, Ed Sheeran, George Ezra, James Bay and Tom Walker."
Very stripped down. Nice!
Nice flute!
California Stars!
Like a really bad and down tempo version of The Housemartins.
Let's all drink to the death of a clown!
The Way Young Lovers Do är en 5:a men resten blir rätt gnälligt.
It starts with Like A Rolling Stone and ends with Desolation Row so it cannot be anything but a 5.
A very wild ride!
As good as it gets for this kind of pop.
A less whiny Radiohead.
Better than expected!
Saved from a 1 by Joy.
Some really nice bass playing!
That's a lot of radio hits!
Almost as boring as the album cover suggests.
A few nice funky parts but overall very boring r&b/soul. And a terrible album cover.
Beatles if they weren't great.
That was a lot of radio hits!
Horrible jazz-pop-rock fusion.
Groovy!
Has to be a 5 with an album cover like that and the piano solo on Uncertain Smile.
Two hours of Bluegrass was a bit too much.
First track was nice but then it was all downhill.
Rätt tråkigt men räddas av Son Of A Preacher Man.
Sounds like the worst pub band ever.
Side B is overrated.
FACT 10!
Spretigt!
Myspop!
Big band jazz. Nice... ...for 1 song.
Egentligen ganska bra rock men man tål ju cirka 1 min av den gnälliga rösten...
A mix of Lou Reed, Mark E Smith, Gang Of Four and Beach Boys!
They went full country here! I bet Wilco like it.
Chicago-vibbar.
Holes has to be one of the best openers ever, but the rest is a bit boring.
The bad thing: Listened for quite some time, then had to stop to please the baby with some baby music, aka BABBLARNA, then realizing i had no idea where i stopped at. The good thing: It's a lovely album. Love especially the first disc. Some Highlights: A Chicken with Its Head Cut Off Fido, Your Leash Is Too Long Yeah! Oh, Yeah! I Can't Touch You Anymore
Nice voice but that was VERY boring.
Some really good songs (Geek U.S.A and Mayonaise) but I really can't stand Corgans voice.
Not absolutely terrible, but quite possibly the longest 38 minutes ever.
Much prefer Neil when he's rocking like this. Great stuff!
Cocteau Twins light!
Pop perfection!
What a disappointment. Mostly cheesy, poppy, r&b.
Mostly super boring.
Märklig industriell post punk.
Annoyingly smooth
What a joy!
Bara covers? Men ändå härligt!
Some really wild lyrics.
He had me from the second I saw him in that chair.
Almost as terrible as the album cover.
I thought i'd give this a 2 rather than a 1, as it does have A LOT of hits (although they're all pretty bad). But the deep cuts on here are some of the worst songs i've ever heard.
Average hippie bullshit
Prefer Mr. Weller to be punky rather than jazzy!
Boring!
Sitar overdose.
Ain't nothin' like a gang bang To blow away the blues
What a disappointment!
Prog wankery
Not as bad as I feared but I'm pretty far from being able to enjoy 90 minutes of it.
Boooring
Absolutely horrible and i'll never trust anyone who likes this.
Noone can get away with that American Pie cover.
If this isn't a 5 it's because you didn't play it loud enough.
Chali 2na saved this from being a total disaster.
Oh god, please stop talking about Peter Gabriel.
Riktigt bra. Påminner en del om LCD Soundsystem.
Way too many weak tracks but Dreams pushed it to a 3.
Side 1 is pretty much perfect. Sadly side 2 isn't.
A terrible transition from their 70's sound.
A poor mans The Pogues.
Saved from a 1 by Blues in Bob Minor.
at least they kept it short
Elevator jazz.
Unexpectedly bad. Like a terrible cover band at a bad bar.
Would have been a 5 if not for the unlistenable emo-screaming in Don't.
Stökjazz. Rätt jobbigt.
Terrible Stevie Wonder tribute followed up by an even worse thing after it. Might have been a 5 if those for those.
Has to be one of the most overrated albums ever.
Otroligt spretigt.
This has something, but it also has too much country influence to be really good.
Could have been a 4 if it was 10 tracks long.
Man vill ju gilla detta mer än vad man gör...
Awful
Vilken jävla sliskig sörja.
Was about to give this at least a 4 but then the second half happened.
Knasigt album.
As if the disco era wasn't bad enough.
Unexpectedly boring.
Three lovely ladies for sure but this was nothing but a bore.
Not the best I’ve heard, but I won’t tolerate any Andrew Weatherall slander around here, and he definitely doesn’t belong in the bottom 20.
Most 2/5 ever.
Since today, December 3rd, is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I can't rate it lower than a 2, even though it was quite disappointing.
Nothing worse than slow paced disco and this had plenty.
A bit too angry for my taste.
There's a 3 star 25 minutes album in here.
Wild stuff.
A bit too experimental, but it certainly has its moments.
Not bad but this is a very odd pick.
Terrible.
Very uplifting.
FAN vad trött gubbe.
Slightly better than Radiohead.
ZzzzzZz
A Man Needs a Maid and There's a World drags it down to a 3.
Surprisingly good for being U2.
An extra star for nostalgia.
It's pretty shit, but I can't give Dolly less than a 3.
Nothing but a terrible and painful jam session. The only thing that sparked some joy was to hear the Treme theme song. But that's a cover anyway so no extra points given.
Political psych rock with post-punk vibes and Madchester grooves. Obviously that's a 5.
Medieval storytelling delivered with a groovy bass. Love it!
Very weird, and very bad.
Reminds me a lot of Fairport Convention, just not quite as good.
