There’s an argument for this to be the best album of all time. Certainly not my favourite but it’s perfect pop rock. Every track is genius and together they make an unbelievable album.

Mar 02 2023

Absolutely brilliant. 4-5 tracks on there that are timeless bangers. The rest sound a bit dated, I’d have to say but still one of the great albums and arguably the most influential in rap music.

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Mar 05 2023

3/5 or 7/10 Great listen first time through. Loved how they made acoustic music sound quite punk like. Vocals a bit prepubescent at times. Blister in the Sun = A masterpiece song

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Mar 12 2023

Lovely listen for a Sunday evening. Incredible voice, and a rare treat to hear the live audience mutterings, which adds a lot to the vibe of the record.

Mar 19 2023

Not for me. I had to listen to it one track at a time. I can appreciate a song at a time to a degree, but listening to the full album is incomprehensible to me.

2112 by Rush
Mar 26 2023

A big improvement on last week’s Pantera album but not something I’ll likely ever listen to again. Pleasant enough though.

Odelay by Beck
Apr 02 2023

Very, very good! Deserves more than 3 stars but not quite 4. So many sounds pulling together. I really enjoyed it.

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Apr 09 2023

Brilliant! Will definitely be playing this again and again. Great album.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Apr 16 2023

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Apr 23 2023

Really good! Great vocals and cool guitars. Cherry Colour Funk is a belter!

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit
Apr 30 2023

Not for me. Good for a 90s action drama but not much else.

So by Peter Gabriel
May 07 2023

Saved by Sledgehammer but the rest of the album is so meh. Not my kind of music but maybe it was groundbreaking at one point. Jus sounds like typical 80s pop.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson

Nice music, pleasant arrangements, brilliant lyrics, but ludicrously long. Didn’t make it all the way through.

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Jul 09 2023

Phenomenal opening track, but then the rest is flat. A few crap, pointless covers too.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Jul 16 2023

Great for the first 3 tracks. Pretty hard to listen to after that. Not my kind of lyrics, and not my kind of vocal Melodies. Guitars are incredible though.
