Lots of fun, all the hits and more! A great singer and entertainer in his prime, with a solid band and the audience eating out of his hand. It feels more like a historical record than a ground breaking album, but still fun nonetheless.

Missed the release of this because I was busy with a new baby and then all the ensuing controversies made me wary of all things Kanye. So I was surprised at how much I loved this. Crazy creative, musically literate, sarcastic, deeply misogynistic and funny with it.

Still awesome debut from a great talent who died too young.

I have avoided Neil Young for many years because…reasons. Coming new to this album, it’s wistful, angry , bitchy and emotionally real.

Didn't realise China Girl was on this album. It was never my favourite Bowie song, but I now prefer the original

Yeah...nice enough background music for polite clubbing or one of those dinner parties where chaps think it's clever to talk smack about jazz and quote Anthony Wilson at you.

Lovely grooves...and then the misogyny begins.

Flippant, smart-arsed, sarcastic, swaggering jangly guitar pop that tries unsuccessfully to hide some rather nice musicianship. Mr S loves the guitar work.
