I didn’t hate listening to this album. It’s enjoyable all the way through. I dig the horns and Ray’s urgency on “Let the Good Times Roll”. Would be great background music at a fall or holiday party or an evening wooing your lady. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I know this is supposed to be a classic album. When I first heard it around the time it came out, it was something different. Being from a small town, we didn’t get to hear a lot of music like this. Now the whole album sounds like the same song. Meh ⭐️

If Jet, Oasis, Green Day, and Weezer had a baby, I imagine this is what it would sound like. It’s sorta pop, sorta punk, just not for me.

As a casual fan, this album didn’t change that. It’s a decent listen, if you’re looking for something different. Growing up during the time when MTV was on fire (when they aired actual music videos) I was exposed to Once in a Lifetime. Houses in Motion was a sleeper track for me.

Dull piano, slow, boring songs. Voice is cool. I found myself wanting this album to be over. If I had to choose either listening to this album or being held down in a fire ant bed, I’d pick the fire ant bed.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed this album. Willow, champagne problems, ‘‘tis the damn season are the better songs, but the sleeper is no body, no crime.

This is THE quintessential Van Morrison album. Top to bottom the album is fire. And it Stoned Me, Moondance, Crazy Love are jams. Into the Mystic is perfect!

Originally, this album was gonna get 1 star, just because you can’t give it 0. But in between the Beck like singing, there are cool instrumentals that give you a break from his boring voice. Bewilder leads into Fall in a River, which actually sounds like they threw a mic into a river, so that was kinda cool. Then, This Song has some neat production trick that makes your ears itch, followed by Bewilderbeast, another vocal less break from the plain singing.

Great metal album! Wheels of Confusion, Changes, Supernaut, and Snowblind are jams!

This was not some Beyoncé sound a like crap album. Janelle is a really talented singer. The music has some cool jazz / R&B elements to it. Thought I would hate it. It wasn’t bad at all

This album “gave me hope that was a disappointment” An alright start to a terribly boring album. Dollar store Enya. I fought so hard to stay awake thru incredibly long boring, sound alike songs.

Classic metal album. I resisted it when it first came out. But eventually couldn’t evade its “power”. It hits hard. Great from front to back

The musicianship is top shelf, but this just didn’t tickle my fancy. It’s just TOO Genesis, I reckon.

Listening to this album, I didn’t feel the overwhelming urge to save the world, or to house the homeless. I just wanted to bang my head to some simple fun punk music. No more, no less, just a carefree good time.
