Here's Little Richard
Little RichardI don't think Pop Punk exists without this album. I will not explain my reasoning.

Never really got The Smiths. It was pretty good but wouldn't buy a copy.
The Pretenders are a band people don't really talk about that much, but when you listen to them you can hear exactly how they influenced a whole swath of modern artists.
Smooth Operator is a certified banger and it's maybe the 4th best song on this album. Masterful.

Very dissonant. The final track sounds like a bad Pink Floyd song.
Also dissonant, but somehow in a way I appreciate better. Was surprised at how much I noticed their influence on RHCP
The music is very good and Morrissey is obviously a great lyricist, but I do not enjoy the way he sings.
Yet another I just couldn't get into.
Duet Solo Dancers is one of my favorite jazz tracks
Classic, lots of great tracks
Pretty good, title track might be my least favorite on the album
I mean, it's brilliant
I find the radio versions of the hits from this record (which is half the songs on the record) pack more of a punch and make for a better overall experience, but listening to the album versions is like watching the director's cut of a movie.
I mean...
I think this is proto-emo
Feels like Gorillaz weren't fully dialed in yet but the highs are so high they drown out the lows
I don't understand why this is important. The music is fine but it mostly feels like it belongs as background noise in a grocery store or something.
Not something I'd listen to on a regular basis but I like how experimental it feels. They may not have struck gold but they really tried some stuff.
This is a truly great album but I would love to have a version without all the vibe-interrupting interludes.
What in the world is "important" about this album? Mostly feels like a knockoff of the better stuff he made 20+ years before. (apparently it's important because the E-Street Band reunited to respond to 9/11, which means this mediocre album probably sold a billion copies.
They're doing too much. This album mixes like 5 or 6 different genres with no cohesive theme. Most individual songs are pretty good on their own but as an album it's kind of a jumbled mess.
Lots of bangers, 4 stars
Not my favorite Temptations album but it's still the Temps
I have trouble with the Beatles because everything they do is so old hat now but a lot of it was brand new when they started doing it.
Lyrics can be pretty dated but the music is good
Good, very 80s/confusion about what the 90s are gonna be-coded
Not memorable but fine. 2 stars
Just good vibes the whole time. 4 stars
meh. 2 stars
Honestly a little disappointed
