What a wild album

What a gem of an album, some songs I knew but didn’t know where from.

Angsty and critical of everything. I would have loved this album growing up, but not as into it now.

Wow sexual, but Steven Tyler has some pipes.

I can see where dethklok got its satire from, but not for me

I can see how this influenced a lot of comedy and experimental work. Always knew who Frank Zappa was but didn’t listen to his works, it’s pretty good.

I understand the context of her struggles, but I don’t feel like the target audience for this one.

Classic album, can almost taste the cocaine in every song

Drum and bass is fun but repetitive. Great to zone out to, hard to listen to intentionally

I hear a lot of the beginnings of second wave ska in here

While the musicianship is good, the main singers voice is just a bit too much for me. Like nails on a chalkboard at time

Classic bossa nova. Great for coffee shops, but nothing ground breaking.

Frank Sinatra’s voice is so smooth, it’s great to hear. But this is just coffee shop music.

His story telling abilities are so phenomenal. It’s like you can envision yourself there.

Didn’t really speak to me. Like a Bob Dylan copycat but slower and not as much storytelling

Great hearing Stevie start to find his style. Can hear the Jazz influence, but in a good way.

You can hear a lot of the foundation of what they’ll become later. Very Brit punk like in the beginning, with great guitars.

I love the soulfulness of her songs and the jazzy bluesie mix

Standard indie album
