Excellent blues riffs and melodies. Didn’t understand a word but didn’t need to.

Too experimental, felt like everyone was playing a different song.
Some songs that went on to become classics, but the overall album is okay.
There are some absolute classics on this album, but also a lot of misses.
Absolute classic songs that helped push the forefront of music.
A foundational album that served as inspiration for so many.
Sounds like every 90s action movie
What a wild album
What a gem of an album, some songs I knew but didn’t know where from.
Angsty and critical of everything. I would have loved this album growing up, but not as into it now.
Wow sexual, but Steven Tyler has some pipes.
You can hear a lot of punk influence in this album
I can see where dethklok got its satire from, but not for me
Excellent blues riffs and melodies. Didn’t understand a word but didn’t need to.
I can see the influence on so much metal I enjoy
I can see how this influenced a lot of comedy and experimental work. Always knew who Frank Zappa was but didn’t listen to his works, it’s pretty good.
I understand the context of her struggles, but I don’t feel like the target audience for this one.
Classic album, can almost taste the cocaine in every song
Drum and bass is fun but repetitive. Great to zone out to, hard to listen to intentionally
I can see how this influenced a lot of music, sounds similar to Jet, but a bit too harsh for me
I hear the influence on all the indie music I enjoy
Appreciate the skill but ends up sounding like noise
Bittersweet Symphony does all the heavy lifting on this album.
Very slow, can see this being good to listen to in a coffee shop
A mediocre Bob Dylan
Beautiful
Band on the run carries the album
Early pop-punk I’d say, love the incorporation of horns
Fun classic 50s vibe with newer 60s experimental sprinkled throughout. Harmonies are amazing
The musicianship is very impressive but there’s so much going on
Noise
Noise
Too theatrical for me
I hear a lot of the beginnings of second wave ska in here
While the musicianship is good, the main singers voice is just a bit too much for me. Like nails on a chalkboard at time
Classic bossa nova. Great for coffee shops, but nothing ground breaking.
Frank Sinatra’s voice is so smooth, it’s great to hear. But this is just coffee shop music.
His story telling abilities are so phenomenal. It’s like you can envision yourself there.
Such a foundational funk album with songs that stand the test of time.
Didn’t really speak to me. Like a Bob Dylan copycat but slower and not as much storytelling
Nothing really stands out to me. The electronic stuff I’m sure was new for the time but the songs are ok.
The guitars a good but the singing is tough to listen to.
I’m not on enough drugs to appreciate this. Individually they all sound great, together it sounds like they’re all playing a different song.
So many classics on my Christmas playlist every year.
A little too much noise
Great hearing Stevie start to find his style. Can hear the Jazz influence, but in a good way.
A little too psychedelic for me
You can hear a lot of the foundation of what they’ll become later. Very Brit punk like in the beginning, with great guitars.
I love the soulfulness of her songs and the jazzy bluesie mix
Mostly just noise.
I now know where Flight of the Conchords got Inner City Pressure.
I don’t own enough berets to enjoy this album I think
Say Yes is a classic. The rest of the album is good.
I love how you can hear the foundation for what they would become with this album.
Absolutely classic songs and genre defining.
Maybe it’s just because I watched Whiplash but that jazz was hittin pretty good.
That sure is some honky tonk. Hear a lot of influence on the 90s country I enjoyed so much
Standard indie album
Literally the sound of an era
The beats are fun
This sounds like jazz but the bad parts
I’m not on enough drugs to truly appreciate this but it is fun
Such a good album, I’m a sucker for a good horn section
Decent blues but just noise at certain times
The front half is all bangers but the back half is all duds. Mixed album
There’s exactly one good song on this album
That sure is ABBA. Enjoyable harmonies and theatrical melodies
This is not my kind of music
Some absolute classics interspersed with some weird ones. Still overall a good album
Humpty Dance is a classic, the rest is decent
Classic glam rock sound. Razzle is gone too soon
More British punk rock
Genre defining
It’s okay. Somewhere between folk, country, and rock
Maps is a classic, the rest is okay
I was not expecting this to turn into a theatrical release
Bangers
Wow this was mostly just noise. You can hear the beginnings of their sound, but the singing is hard to get past
Shrek
Not for me; felt like the same song the whole album
The music is nice but the singing is hard to get past
This feels like a foundational electronic album but it’s okay
Two really good songs, a lot of okay songs.
An album to sell Message in a Bottle
Early electronic. Feels repetitive
Feels pretty middle of the road 60s.
Shining Star is a banger, the rest is okay
Not good
Tiny Dancer is a classic, the rest is okay
Can hear the beginning of disco and funk
Sounds like what people in the 90s thought future music sounds like
A classic
The album is long but there’s so many good songs
Sounds very 60s but just kinda keeps going
Eh
