Opus Dei
LaibachStrong opening very very weak ending.
Strong opening very very weak ending.
The song sex machine is offensive for being 13 minutes long despite just being an instrumental loop with charlie brown adult vocals for parts of it, rest of the album is good
Strong opening good throughout
banger
Nothing stands out and is very slow and instrumental focused. Still quite good but nothing jumps out as a banger.
big tavern silencing the haters
Actually just noise not a single good song
very good start and stays good until the end
This album gave me whiplash
Nothing notable just queen music
Ya like Jazz?
Every song is good nothing that stands out stands out
Sad Lisa and Father and Son are bangers, some sub par tracks towards the end brings this from a 5 to a 4
antidisestablishmentarianism
The last song being I shall be released is fitting because I was released from listening to mid after it.
Solid
notably the track hard feelings/loveless after 4 minutes beat sounds similar to the happy ghast music disc from minecraft
I like my songs with lyrics. I think an instrumental song is better with lyrics than with just instrumentals. This album would be a 4 if it was just instrumentals. That is how bad the lyrics and singing is. Also I had to do a double take when listening to mass production because it sounds like those scenes in games where your character is tripping balls and is going to black out.
Gave up on singing at the end of the album, understandable i would be tired of singing bad songs as well.
Weak end drops this one down
Too many bangers front loaded that the rest feels worse by comparison
not bad
solid mid
its fine
interesting album
i like it
good songs
i forgot that hotel california is longer than like 3 minutes
the largest throw job by the instrumentals for the vocals, if you look at the wiki for this album even the vocalist hated how the songs sounded.
nothing stands out but its very good
So-so start gets better towards the end, the instrumental songs make it on the upper end of a 3.5 so its a 4 but a very low 4
State of the World is a giga banger, whole album is good
its 70s to 90s rock, nuff said
good album
rare example of an album being back loaded rather than front loaded
cruiser's creak, rollin danny, and my new house are great, album has a good start and good end, with only 1 song in the middle being ok
fluctuates between decent and bad
interesting how the songs are clumped together
I am whelmed
Love when he said hibidibadoobiedibadobi, it really spoke to me.
less songs = better album?
no man with a voice this sultry should be threatening to touch me
short and sweet
I have now found my most hated music genre. I am now officially biased against reggae music. I'm sure its political or something but like its the same backing track with different vocals for every song.
kinda generic but not bad very mid in terms of rock
most of the songs are very similar
The chefs in the kitchen were making some nice simple mashed potatoes and steaks and then some dumb ass sous chef said "but what if we just deep fried the entire kitchen" and then everything burned down.
they put the frogs in the metal pipes and called it music
Bob Dylan is white people reggae, there must be a brain fog from the 60s for people to think this shit is good.
Very good album, no bangers but base line is good
very good album, halloween and spellbound stood out to me.
very good start, songs start blending together towards the end but overall the album is very good
this shit is fire, you better come right in
nothing special just some blues, probably a 4 if I liked any song
interesting jazz until the most recognizable riff in the 4th song around 5 minutes in happens (good to know where that is from). Also a lot of this sounds like an evolved form of the wii play menu music.
the fire in the name is accurate
bold to put a fallout radio mix on a top 1001 albums list but whatever it is good enough i suppose
take horse to slaughter house -quaran
was good but raised on robbery has no business going that hard, also twisted at then end makes this a rare back loaded album
I so heavily dislike the vocals that it knocks the album down farther than it should the instrumentals are ok
sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit
objectively probably a 4 or 5 subjectively it's a 3
this is like if the cure was mid
this dude horny af
this some foddian game music, and also a bad version of we didn't start the fire which is already not great
if i lose motivation for listening to 1001 albums a Bob Dylan album will be the reason why
really like the opening gets worse after that and stays mid
insanely good, really 80s rock ish even though its from the 2000s
not really any standout songs just a solid album
I swear i have heard Personal Jesus in ads before
weird mix of different rock genres from the 90s in one album, songs switch to different styles often
not gonna knock this album cause it is quite good, but what the actual fuck is the song Don't cause it don't belong on this album
masterclass, starman is the obvious hit but there are so many more good songs in this album
Extremely Unique instrumentals from anything else in the list thus far and this album is incredible. We got Donkey Country level music beats in this thing.
eh
hate the way the vocals sound but the album is fine regardless
very good actually feels like an album the little songs to introduce and conclude are nice. I don't really see which song is meant to be the song of the album everything is very much the same level of good
Already liked Tom Sawyer and Limelight going into this, rest of the album is a mix of good and bad, the camera eye goes on a bit too long for what it is and yvz ain't great.
the vibes are giving 3 not really any good song but no real bad song either
does every AC/DC song sound the exact same yes, do I like every single one also yes
i like how fast paced it is
this shit goes crazy hard
Heart is so recognizable it's not funny, this album has immaculate and unique instrumentals for all ten songs and the backing vocals are a nice compliment
most inaccurate name for an album ever
This is kinda just an album of minecraft music discs top to bottom and at first I thought I was reentering the Haunted Dancehall
it's ok kinda generic sounding
very much open starry night in the countryside vibes with this one, very nice and slow
not sure why tainted love is 3 times on the album with 1 being longer and 1 being a different version of that longer song, some of the lyrics are weird but that is kinda the point not a bad listen but nothing over the top
pace changes too much but overall the album is good, the fact that it is a live album with the actual live bits included is nice
hes cooking with this one
no other songs really hits the same level as seven nation army, some of them are good but not a whole lot outside of that song
I just listened to it and can't remember much all I remember is this is pretty good
Alt title for this album is Post Nut Clarity. This album is kinda like 2 different 6 song albums stitched together where you have harder and softer songs mixed that fit well together.
Not a single bad song on this album, big fan of 2 part songs that build up the 2nd part to be a better song, and songs that transition from the end of one to the beginning of the next because it makes it feel more like an album.
what?
love the vocals, very good blues album
my favourite thing to hear when listening to music alone is the screams of thousands before and after every song, thank you live album recording
it's ok i guess, I have heard better soul prior on this list and this one is just fine, it is hitting very regular levels
it's alright a bit slow and nothing really stood out to me
Adding Use Somebody to the list of songs I recognize but have no clue who made them, overall album was good most of the songs are filler but the good songs are very good
The Smoke on the Water riff is like the first cool thing you learn when learning any instrument, hearing it sends my ass down the alice in wonderland rabbit hole to time travel back to learning the piano. The album is also fire.
