Loads of iconic songs, second half is better than the first. I prefer ‘Bad’, but Michael’s vocals are brilliant in this album. Fav song is ‘Billie Jean’.

The title song is SO PRETTY. This album is so Zach Bryan coded with all the harmonica. “Everything dies baby, that’s a fact but maybe everything that dies someday comes back” PERIOD. I love that line. Such a beautiful album overall. Fav song is ‘Atlantic City’.

Second half of the album isn’t as good as the first half. Fav song is ‘Wild Horses’.

Holy groovy. I love 90s rap. I really like the guitar in the title song. Fav song is ‘My Adidas’.

Very funky album. Really pretty instrumentals but also really hot songs. Fav song is ‘Sexy Boy’.

Very short album. Very gothic, very dark and mysterious. Similar to She Wants Revenge or Siouxsie and the Banshees. Fav song is ‘Siamese Twins’.

Very cute album. I prefer his folky stuff to his more jazzy stuff. Aoibhe reckons the album sounds like something from the ‘Adventure Time’ soundtrack. Fav song is ‘One of These Things First’.

Very full of life. I prefer the songs with less organ i think. Fav song is ‘Back At The Chicken Shack’.

Very fuzzy/hazy, dirty basslines. I LOVE the guitar solo in ‘A Good Idea’. Very summery album. Fav song is ‘Man on the Moon’.

I read Patti Smith’s book, but I hadn’t listened to much of her work, so I’m excited. Holy angst. Very groovy, yet also very punky. The second song has a reggae vibe? I don’t like the spoken word song so much. Fav song is ‘Redondo Beach’.

Very OG punk. Sounds exactly like Sex Pistols to me… I like the bass in the third song. Very political? Nearly every song sounds the exact same bro. Fav song is ‘Let’s Lynch The Landlord’.

This album TERRIFIES me. It’s just kinda unsettling. I get it’s about him dying because he had cancer but come on now. Fav song is ‘Girl Loves Me’.

Pretty unique sound. Not at all what I thought they’d sound like. Fav song is ‘Angels of Deception’.

Very different to ‘Golden Brown’ which was the only song I knew from The Stranglers. Some very unique songs on this album. Fav song is ‘Peaches’.

Very long album. A lot of futuristic stuff going on, not my fav thing in rap. There’s some rlly fast rapping here, they’re talented tbf. Fav song is ‘Ms. Jackson’.

First part of the album is very trip-hop, Massive Attack coded. A bit slow and mellow for my taste… The second part I enjoyed more, very Inhaler coded. Overall though I prefer smth more exciting. Fav song is ‘Fountain Stairs’.

Lauryn Hill is truly an icon. Some pretty iconic songs in this album, so I have to give it credit. Overall a pretty good album. Fav song is ‘How Many Mics’.

Only knew like two songs from Nina Simone going into this. She’s a phenomenal vocalist. I don’t really like this genre of music however. Fav song is ‘I Love Your Lovin’ Ways’.

I didn’t know many T. Rex songs before this but I loved the ones I did know, so I had high hopes. I have to say I was kinda dissapointed, it wasn’t great. Fav song is ‘Baby Boomerang’.

I like a bit of his solo work, never heard him with his band. Pretty groovy iwl. I don’t like the slower songs as much. Fav song is ‘Next Time Round’.

I was expecting 80s synths, I was NOT expecting this. Some unreal guitar solos !! Wasn’t prepared for the hip hop track in the middle? Fav song is ‘Middle Man’.

I knew some of Joni Mitchell’s work but not all of it, so I was excited for this !! She’s an incredible vocalist, but tbh I didn’t really care for this album… I much prefer the folky guitar songs to the piano ballads. Fav song is ‘California’.

I was really excited for this one ! Soundgarden are a staple of the grunge genre, and Chris Cornell is incredible. Fav song is ‘Black Hole Sun’.

I had no idea what to expect with this one. Very ethereal. Not my shit tho, I find it really boring. Fav song is ‘Cop Shoot Cop…’.

Cute harmonies. Gorillaz have a really unique sound, very experimental. It was nice to hear some more of their work. I found this album to be pretty slow though, it kinda bored me… Fav song is ‘Clint Eastwood’.

I was SO excited for this one, I’ve wanted to listen to more of Frank Ocean’s work for ages. I will say some of the songs were too slow for my liking. Fav song is ‘Super Rich Kids’.

I’m a big fan of a lot of The Kinks’ work so I was excited for this, it lowkey wasn’t as good as I expected. Not as good as other albums of theirs anyway. Fav song is ‘Shangri-La’.

Louis Prima made on of my fav Disney songs ever, and I knew ‘Pennies From Heaven’, so I was excited to check this out !! This album has such good vibes !! So jazzy, amazing basslines and groovy trumpets. Prima’s singing and the backing vocals are great too. Fav song is ‘Just A Gigolo’.

I’ve heard quite a lot of Deep Purple by now, they’re great. Some great guitar solos. i prefer ‘Deep Purple In Rock’ to this album I think. Fav song is ‘Smoke On The Water’.
