Pure pop perfection. Every song is catchy and the production is spot on. I tried to fault it but found myself foot tapping and singing along to every track.

A bit much by the end. Heart of Glass is still a banger though
Opens with some huge synthy powerful beats. Loses power as it goes on although still some good songs. Really liked "Little Shadow" Karen O's voice is fantastic throughout.
Some classic songs here, and a nod to all time great blues man Robert Johnson with "Love in Vain". Gospel influenced Gimme Shelter is a fantastic opening track and more political lyrics than I'd ever realised. Very heavily blues influenced throughout. I really liked You Got the Silver, a sweet song with great instrumentation build.
Bleak. Dark. Depressing. Brilliant
Eclectic, varied sound. Very groovy at times, with some jazz inspired moments.
Raucous energy. Had some great tracks but I found it all sounded the same by the end.
I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. I never listened to SoaD much as a teenager but my older ears actually appreciated the variety of sound. The lyrics felt like they meant something to someone instead of just being scrawled down just before recording. The sheer manic energy almost never lets up, but when it does the result is even better, "Spiders" comes to mind. As a non-metal listener who generally cringes at the sound of a dude screaming while a snare drum thrashes in the background, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
I didn't know many of these songs that well but the orchestral arrangements are awesome. 2hrs+ was a bit hard to take but it stayed interesting.

A great collection of songs. Very easy to listen to although no real standout tracks.
So much groove! I was surprised by how many of these I knew, although I did feel like I was in an early 2000s movie by the end (Looking at you Jason Bourne).
While more accessible than other Kraftwerk, I still found it a bit backgroundy.
A strange mix of styles, I found this hard to pin down stylistically. Couldn't tell if I was enjoying it or not either although it did have its moments.

Odd mix of folk music and prog rock
Constantly rhythmic, always evolving, subtly complex. Lyrics that slide between dancefloor anthems and deeper emotional outpours. A complete masterpiece.
Great big band moments. I preferred the first half over the string backed ballads on the 2nd half
Some good songs, but alot of shouty post punk. It's strongest moments we're when they slow down a bit and play something with a melody, like Maps.
