This is my pick, and an easy one it was. I wanted to add something from my country (The Netherlands), and preferably something that was also completely in Dutch (which it is, apart from Mike Clark (who is a beatiful human being)). So, why is this so wonderful? I think a lot of it is the sheer surprise of a solo artist creating this in his attic using kid's toys, out of the blue, and it being such a gorgeous and poetic bundle of songs. We get songs about people, about (boring) places, and also about very real things like losing your memories and about dealing with mental illness and returning to the real world. A lot of this gets lost if you don't speak the language, and I bet a lot of it would still get lost if you were to translate it to another language. But even then, the creative melodies and diverse arrangements should still be interesting enough to keep you listening. The biggest music magazine in the Netherlands called it the best Dutch album of the last 25 years in 2025. To me it is the best Dutch album ever.

Next time I'm doing Kareoke I want to do 'Fly' by Yoko Ono.
I love this dumb shit.
I'm a hard boiled detective and it's a rainy night..

Next time I'm doing Kareoke I want to do 'Fly' by Yoko Ono.
Hell yeah Oingo Boingo!
Back when Chromatics played in season three of Twin Peaks, I was thinking I should listen to some more of this band. Then completely forgot about it. Thank you!
If you see this album at the record store, you should 'pick it up'.
Phish is a band I keep hearing references to, but never actually heard a song of. So that changed today; and guess what I learned after TWO HOURS of Phish? I can't stand Phish, fuck this endless noodling.
I love this movie and the soundtrack is perfection. Bio-digital jazz, man.
I'm a hard boiled detective and it's a rainy night..
Slightly less annoying Elvis Costello.
That sounded like a good time!
Not a bad Yoko Ono impression.
Really not as bad as I would have thought.
I love this dumb shit.
EDM doesn't have to be this generic and boring.
Don't you hate it when the person with the worst opinions likes something you like?
🙈🙉🙊
Let's go, girls!
Not as bad as I was expecting from the name.
I can dig it, but not for this long.

May your heart be your guiding key 🗝️
They're still good, but I don't think we need multiple BABYMETAL albums on here. It is nice to see all these collaborations though, especially with one of my other faves from the list, Electric Callboy 🤘
Everything, everywhere, all at once.
With a name like that I guess they were trying to remain obscure? This was absolutely brilliant from beginning to end.
Blast from the past! I hadn't thought about this band since I was 19 or so. They're still alright :)
These guys might be nice to have playing in the background during a chill summer festival, but to actually listen to it? No thanks.
Never heard of her, but I love Sugababes and Kylie Minogue as much as the next millennial girlie. Good pop is good.
I had no way to listen to it in the intended way, like most people I imagine. In the end I listened to a stereo mix of all the cd's, to get the picture kinda and it sounded a lot like an audio installation you sometimes get at art galleries.
Great, another one of those..
Truth.
I didn't know I needed this.
Absolutely wild that this wasn't on the original list.
For the first time in 1268 albums I couldn´t finish the album. Fado really isn´t for me..
Blast from the past, but a little too much of the same.
One of his more annoying outings.
It's fucking Demon Days, how was this not already in the book?!
