Really enjoyable album and fresh sounding despite being over 50 years old, Reynardine in particular wouldn’t sound out of place on the BBC Introducing stage. Very good!

Cool album, not gimmicky like some 90’s Brit pop bands.

Heart-Shaped Box is not only my favourite Nirvana song but one of my all time favourites in general. Alongside Dumb, Rape Me and All Apologies. This album is up there with the best. Easy 5 from me!

Don’t believe the hype. ‘Fight the Power’ is the only redeeming song on this album.

Once again, harmonica enthusiasts rejoice.

Not really listened to Neil Young before, really enjoyed! Nicely soothed a mundane car journey.

Eye rolled when I saw another White Stripes album but was soon toe-tapping and enjoying it. Surprising 3.

I did question the cohesion between tracks particularly after the whiplash I sustained listening to the trauma dumping ‘Mother’, straight into the jovial ‘Miss Grandenko’. But all is absolutely forgiven when every track is that good. Nicely wrapped up by, in my opinion, the best track on the album ‘Murder by numbers’.

At first you think this is just going to be shit truck driver music….and then a mere 1.5hrs later you have this confirmed.

Perfect timing to pay homage to the Prince of Darkness. Excellent album 👌🏼!

Strong contender for the best hip hop album of all time. Compared to other hip hop artists at that time, this album doesn’t rely on any thrills or backing samples just dark, gritty lyrics that you stop and listen to.

An excellent soundtrack to this morning’s kitchen dancing! Different class to a lot of the albums that appear on here. Crazy for one album to have that many number one singles.

Ah the Ramones, a band adored by 2-13yr old girls…according to H&M. Loved it, woke me up and set me up for a sunny Saturday! Also, a 29 minute album?! Quite the treat amongst some of these endurances. Solid 4.
