Didn't have a high expectations, but it was very chilled. Felt like it eluded to wanting to be chill trance or island vibe but didn't take it there. Not offended but probably won't return for another listen or investigate Radiohead more.
Knew alot more billy Joel than I thought!
A nice album, very time defining, storytelling aspect with imagery was cleveley done
Loved. Knew the big ones, let's get crazy and purple rain. I get the sexual liberation of Prince now. Always knew of him as an icon but this is hot. If I was 22 in the clubs when these tracks were on, this would have been anthemic. Will absolutely be returning to this album.
Had never heard of Yes, and not mad about it. Very instrumental and has those high builds into a soft landing. Not my kinda vibe but I imagine if you like king gizzard etc this is probably your kinda thing
No. I got two yes albums in a row and I tried, I really tried.
Very instrumental heavy and I get it's a story telling album, but I couldn't really get into the story because I was just so relieved to hear lyrics.
Again, if you like long instrumentals and clever storytelling through sound, this is for you. Just not for me
A live jazz album would never have been something I would have gravitated towards. I listened to it as background and enjoyed the experience, it was comforting and easy. Not mad about it but would only listen to again as a background dinner music kind of vibe
Classic.
I really enjoyed this album, obviously knew the big tracks like walk this way and it's tricky.
You can tell how it set up the genre and remains influential.
I enjoyed this album so much, and I'd never heard of the saints.
Some of the lyrics haven't aged well, but it's not aggressive.
Classic punk of that era with the perfect Australian vibe. Definitely revisit this one
I can absolutely appreciate this album and massive attack as setting the basework for what the world has in electronic music and how it's developed as a genre. I would probably return to this album but wouldn't be annoyed if it was on in the background
Complex structure of the album and I'm guessing that the style of playing means something to people who understand instruments. Wasn't grabbed by it, I found the style slightly annoying and trying to be more
Loved melodrama. I wasn't on the Lorde train when she first appeared on the scene, but actually went back to here around 2024 and appreciated solar power. I was happy melodrama came up, as it made me listen to it fully and I adore this album.
Her writing is so adult that it reflects on the naivety of being young but how the feelings are powerful. This album made me nostalgic but also thankful for being in my 30s, a totally different understanding and appreciation of this album in 2026.
A ood classical jazz album. Good vibes in the back of a bar
I was excited for a Doors album, always a band you hear off but I haven't actually listed to.
I enjoyed it and likes the lyrics. Alot of that keyboard vibe that by today's standards is reminiscent of carnivals, but very 70s aesthetic.
I enjoyed this, but not overly. It had the classic 70s long instrumental and soft vocal elements that I don't particularly enjoy. But it was a calming album and was pleasant
I liked this album, nick cave is again someone I've always know about but never really listed too. Very strong lyrics to create imagery
Screeching guitar instrumentals with the occasional piano smash
A nice listen, it has some good lyrics and imagery being created with them.
Very 60s audio styles which is to be expected
I enjoyed this. Still had the excessive length with no lyrics that is standard for the era.
This is one of those albums that we all know but I hadn't listed, so I'm thrilled I finally did. You can see the influence it has had to modern time. A nice listen with thoughtful lyrics and clever references
I love a deep slow bass as much as anyone. But a bit too heavy on the vocals for my vibe
Another album I recognise the cover off but never listened to. Ideal city summer album and very obviously an influence
I really enjoyed this. Very chilled..not mad
Makes me feel like im in a dentist waiting room. Maybe I'm not smart enough, but Radiohead grates on me and this album is the personification of annoyance.
I forgot about this album and probably haven't listened since 2001. Very era defining at its time, holds up as a good rock album
I forgot all about N.E.R.D.
This album is great, it's smooth, lyrical and cleverly written.
I really enjoyed this album, I thought it was going to go into a full country vibez but it was more influenced.
An album cover we all know. I really liked this album, it was clever, easy to listen to and warming
Did not think I would enjoy this and I did. I've never been on the Bowie train, respect him and what he done, but it just never resonated with me. But I liked this
I had no idea what to expect from this album and the doves and I enjoyed for the most part. Some tracks were a bit slower with dragged vocals which wasn't my favourites but all in all. I enjoyed
Has Kate bush grown on me with age? I enjoyed this, album it was more pop esque than I expected. I might go on a Kate bush binge and check out all albums
I remember when this first came out and didn't really get the hype. But I was 13. But, nah still not for me. I like the idea of the blend of genre that they do but just doesn't work for me
Loves this. I obviously know the clash, but not their debut album. Classic punk and the setting for the genre as we know today. Real, authentic, and still relevant
Obviously I know who Bruce Springsteen is. I was quite surprised by this album. I assumed his albums would be all filler, but I enjoyed this album. Keen to listen this other albums now
Not what I expect at all. I don't know why I had the idea that anthrax were much heavier on the scream bandwagon, but this grabbed me in.
I wanted to like this. But no, it's kinda like what inspired bevis and butthead.
I was surprised this was 1988, has a sound that I associate with the 90's scene. It was an ok listen, not really my vibe and found it slightly boring, felt like a rebranding of the 70s punk scene
I went in open minded. I have always found the Beatles annoying and just never got them. Fully appreciate what they done and understand the cultural significance that they have. But i found this just like a child's drawing where they found instruments unique to other cultures and threw them in to sound quirky. Again, i understand that this was the first time it was done so get the hype, but just not for me
I really enjoyed this. Of course I know who ray Charles is, but this really got me good. The way his sound relaxes your mind but also hits on an emotional level. Stunning album
I'm surprised I wasn't on this in 2010 as it was very much me at the time. It very much fills that post pop punk into indie popularity time. Absolutely can see this on the One Tree Hill soundtrack which is a compliment in my end. Didn't hit as much as I wanted it too, but still a good album
Again, we all know Led Zeppelin, but I had never listed to a full album. It was good, not elated by it nor wanting to listen to their back catalogue.
It was very reminiscent of the Beatles. Wasn't for me
I did enjoy this album. It has that era defining sound that we all know, but as with the time I find the long instrumentals a bit much
I don't mind this album, but just not one I'd return too.
Did not hate this album. Some slightly slower songs that didn't relate with me, but also some really good tracks
I hated this. I knew off one or two songs, but it was clinky clanky (best way I can describe). I understand why it might be people's vibe, it has the mellow somber vibe, but the strange instrument interruptions made it weird for me.
I enjoyed this album without fully feeling invited or invested into it. Jimi doesn't do the long unnecessary instrumentals that were indicative of the time which I enjoy. And as always that voice, effortlessly powerful
I really wanted to like this, but found it kinda boring. Gothy elements with a EDM base on paper is what I would love.
I was always going to enjoy a Bob Marley and The Wailers album. It's the most relaxing sounds and his voice makes it smooth. It didn't grab my attention too much but did not dislike
When I seen it was an hour long with only 10 songs I was sceptical. The first track is about 1 minute 30, so I was correct. Alot of unnecessary synonyms and metaphors that appear deep and meaningful but don't pack any depth. Not for me
So I never knew that Johnny Rotten made a new band after sex pistols. Who knew, apparently everyone.
The first couple of tracks I was unsure, it did go a bit to the avante garde with a nod to punk, which I guess was the plan, the second half of the album was alot more of what I wanted from 70s punk.
Loved this. Always knew off the go gos but hadn't really. Did not realise Belinda Carlisle was the lead vocals but they have that edgy pink vibe especially within the female punk space whilst also having that southern Californian / Australian coast beach vibe.
Marvins voice is always going to soothe and take you to a calm melodic place. This album does that to perfection and there's a reason he is still renowned today. Beautiful album
Slightly bias as this album holds alot of nostalgia for me. However I did try and stay critical and still think it's an amazing album. It has the quintessential Californian punk scene sound with fun but compelling lyrics.
I really struggled with this. The second half of the album was slightly better but I found it frustrating to listen too and can't really say why. It was almost like they were trying to modernise the Beatles and I don't like the Beatles.
I did not expect to enjoy this but I did. I don't think I'll return to it but enjoyed my time with it
I loved this. Obviously know free bird, but this entire album was soulful, warming and fun. Definitely will be back to this
I really enjoyed this, and didn't think I would. Obviously I know born in the USA and glory days, but every track was good and also knowing the standing of Bruce Springsteen and his values his lyrics are even more poignant.
Slight bias as this album holds alot of nostalgia for me. But still this album holds up exceptionally well, it's clever, heartfelt, era defining and just all around pure joy to Listen too.
I was raised on this album so it was a re listen but this time as an active listen. There is a reason this band and this album is genre and era defining. It holds up and is amazing classic rock
Genuinely surprised but how good this was. Always known of slipknot but never really got into them. However this album is really good, it's passionate, political and punchy without preaching.
In all honesty I expected to be grabbed by this album way more. I didn't dislike it at all, it just didn't really hit me
I enjoyed this, and can totally feel how good it would have been to see thin Lizzy live.
I can understand the legacy of Fatboy slim, and this album is not offensive in anyway. I just found it slightly boring
One of the most annoying things I've ever experienced
