1001 Albums Summary

Liked more than I expected

Candy says, Pale Blue eyes, are all great What Goes On has the classic Velvet underground this is just noise moments like the end of heroin And murder mystery is very experimental Overall good album 3.5

Not a bad album but I remember liking Talking Heads a lot more than this...

No notes.

Not the biggest early Beatles fan but gotta like All my Loving

Oddly similar to albums I do like for an album that I definitely don't like

Some great covers but the originals aren't my favorite

Definitely are some duds but overall amazing album

To the point, no dubs and a few bangers (walk this way and sweet emotion obviously but also round and round (and you see me crying lowkenuinly?!)

very much not my thing, eagerly anticipated the end.

Groovy and chill, a bit cliche "Georgia peaches, California sun, Florida beaches, colorado mountains, New York skyline, moonlight in Vermont" ok bud we get it you can name all the states

Yes I'm so Close To The Edge

solid vibe didn't listen to all of it

First few songs are better than the rest but enjoyable

Can we stop doing the intentional feedback thing?!

Solid indie rock 3/5

Enjoyable solid

Wow! The back half really kicks it into gear. Time of the season and I want her she wants me and this will be our year are all bopps 4.5

Yikes! Whatever this is... I'm not buying

Lots of screaming but some interesting cool sounding stuff

Alright 3/5

Not my thing. Although slow but movin and ghetto sound wave were good. Bonus points for Bonin'' in the Boneyard's song name

Not amazing but enjoyable. Too heavy rock southern and not as good as their other stuff

No notes.

No need to listen, 1/5

Who is shack? Anyways this was pretty good 3.5/5

Is there peace for the wicked?

Not really my thing

Pretty good, the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel covers were cool. Super slow stuff like this isn't my favorite though

Eh, not bad but really nothing special

Ooooh. Me likey. The Band as fuck

Good not amazing. Two weeks was the only one I knew and only standout.

Beautiful but not my favorite music

Interesting, unique for LA punk rock 3.5/5

Not very memorable

eh, kinda like an ok imitation of 60s rock

Yeezus! Interesting, hadn't heard this album before it's enjoyable and unique enough though I don't love Kanye music 3/5 + (why no Jew talk?)

Very beautiful, I don't think I've ever heard an album that talks about gender in such a raw way and conveys the challenges and beauty of gender fluidity

Scheiße I'm Close to The Edge 3.8/5

Obviously great 4/5

Off off with your head! Thanks Aspen ski Co! 4.2/5

Meh

Sorry prince, it's me not you

Kinky!

Beastie boys is such a particular vibe. At times it's enjoyable. From another review "This album overestimates how long I'd like to listen to white kids brag"

I wanna give it a 4 just cause it's PF but it's too early and rough around the edges

I'm rushing!!

Too much screaming for me to be in utero (idk what utero is) 2.7/5

I mighta liked this more if I were 100 years old 2.8/5

This guy should stick to ... not singing. Ooh burn, get burned (1.3/5) Appropriated from other reviews "Not only do I hate this but I dislike anyone who likes this" And "Like being stuck at a party with an annoying know it all who thinks that they’re much cleverer and edgier than they are. Or talking to an ‘artist’ who has no clue, and turns out they’re a real estate agent"

I was hoping more songs would be great from this album but honestly only riders on the storm was exceptional (3.4/5) From another review "the hits soar the rest is a bore"

It's the Monkees! I mean the Beatles, and we're getting... Eastern?

Huh

Could be shorter but still great

Nothing really stood out to me that much. Try again was nice (3/5)

Enjoyable but cold monkey > cold fire, also why does every song from 2009-2012 sound the same? (3.3/5)

Interesting band history, groovy and enjoyable but not really special - all the songs sound the same throughout

It's like hot chocolate and a crackling fire and a Starbucks, dentist office, grocery store, hotel lobby, or an elevator, or an airport lounge, or a bank lobby, or a furniture showroom or.... (3/5)

Dress rehearsal rag is enjoyable but the lyrics are very religious and so damn depressing (2/5) From another review: This could even give a puppy depression

I liked it but it was a bit rambling at times

did not enjoy this at all (1.6/5)

Non descript rock! (3/5)

Feels like dollar store Carole King - so very enjoyable! (3.9/5)

Not really memorable

Really enjoyed this! 4/5

Just can't do metal

Eh. Failing to do what the pixies did well

Not a good sign when I skipped the first song cause it was annoyingly repetitive. Some was good, most was annoying

Interesting... But not great

All kinda sounds like a recreation of brown eyed girl

Monkeeeee!

Shiiine onnnnn you craaaaazy 💎 Obviously 5/5, nothing to say that hasn't been said

It ain't no orchid but I always love some Black Sabbath

Generic punk rock? It was pleasant but no song stood out to me really 3/5

I can't help but loving this type of 90s rap

Not as good as the other 90s rap imo

For some reason it this sounds like a bad Beatles/Kink impression and just makes me want to go listen to those bands

"Nice to meet you I'm Operator, Smooth Operator" - Carlos Sainz

Enjoyable

Not my favorite the band album 3/5

Telling my grandkids this is Kanye. Also F that PhD guy, as a physicist this shit slaps (4/5)

So that's what Gravy sampled in forget me thots /s "There's three types of people those you don't know what happened, those who wonder what happened, and people like us in the streets who make things happen" So fire, incredible era of rap 4/5)

The 8th song on this album describes my reaction to the album The only redeeming quality is "pull me closer in the back seat of your Rover on that mattress that you stole from your roommate back in Tucson something blink 182 song" Wait wrong Closer (1/5)

I feel like I've heard a dozen albums like this (2.3/5) A worse version of shack

I'm not a dog and I don't want your scraps off the table (0.6/5) From another review "peak gen X garbage. Congrats it's 1990 and you're pretending to be Sinatra"

A couple of bangers like blackbird and dear prudence but not my favorite (3.6/5)

My honest reaction: "Dude STFU"

Not really my style of music, but actually enjoyed it. (3/5) "Sounds like the music Jesse Pinkman listens to" is an accurate review

I liked ccr in high school, now not so much 2/5

Guitar George knows all the chords - Tej

I don't love this type of music but I can appreciate that it's well done for what's it's trying to do

I want to be nice but that's just not me

Rip the goat (4.3/5)
