Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides
SOPHIEPossibly needed a bit more concentration but this just sounded like a cacophony to me.

Meh... Already don't like live albums and then one where the entire purpose almost seems to deconstruct the 'live album' is....
Enjoyed this.
Enjoyed what I heard.
A couple of hits but otherwise just too 80s.
Solid.
Fine but unremarkable.
Excited to hear it but left disappointed.
Summer 2014. World Cup in Brazil, BBQs, pre-Brexit/Trump and Lost in the Dream in constant rotation lazily floating across the long, muggy nights. This was the perfect album at the perfect time. 11 years on... the world is falling about and whats more I'm sat at work; this War on Drugs album is fine but doesn't quite have the same impact and even grates after a while. Still... its OK in short doses.
Sounded like the music interludes in 'There's Something About Mary'. I didn't hate it...
I had expected more.
Expected better.
An enjoyable surprise.
Not quite sure what this was and having read about it I'm still not sure I understand but it was pretty good.
It was OK. Basically a Queen rip-off and not as good.
Possibly needed a bit more concentration but this just sounded like a cacophony to me.
Hard to find and probably not worth the effort.
OK. Some good tracks.
Not great.
Lost count of the times I've been recommended/tried this. It's fine.

Mellifluous.
Not sure why it was on the list but it was fun in a bubble-gum way.
Expected more.
Dull.
I like the idea of it more than the execution. Funny how there are two Godspeed You! Black Emperor albums since starting the user nominated albums but none before -- I guess their fans are very dedicated.
Not my favourite Tool album but probably objectively the best. Good stuff.
Not sure what was special about this one.
Surprised I'd not heard of this. Pretty fun but lacks the coherence of a Pantera or similar.
Classic.
This was the album where I stopped listening to Biffy. Its fine but I preferred the other stuff.
Awful. Almost enjoyably so.
It was OK; nothing special. More like the original 1001 list.
OK. Would grate after a while....
Melded into any other jazz album.
Strong. Really enjoyed it and the first 3-4 songs are banging. It does get a bit samey after that...
I cannot be bothered with type of stuff.
Just awful.
Similar enough to Pink Floyd like slipping into an old coat.
Fine but unremarkable.
Quite dull. But pretty.
Enjoyed this one.
OK. Its the same kind of dreamy pop-rock that I quite liked with War on Drugs due to listening to it at the time. I do think it sounds dated now and I don't have the same nostalgic associations so...
Not for me but I cannot deny the music.
Solid but unflashy.
Wispy.
It was fine but a bit dull.
Meh. I'd prefer Kate Bush.
Enjoyed this.
II thought it was middling then it got a bit grating.
Enjoyed what I heard.
This was good.
Probably my least favourite Tool album.
Quite nice.
It definitely grew on me but I don't think I'd pick it up to listen to.
Great. I must've listened to it in the 90s but didn't remember anything but 'Mmmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm' but this was really good.
Disappointing.
Usually the sort of thing I'd turn my nose up at but this hit just right.
Not bad.
Twiddly-dee stuff.
2009!? It sounds so dated.
Still not my favourite Tool ablum but great anyway.
Very much enjoyed.
Liked this. I'm a bit of a sucker for the lo-fi thing. Could easily be a 4 but I'll go with 3 to start.
Enjoyed it but it never really 'caught'.
Good. Gets extra marks because I'd not heard it before.
Emjoyed it. Recency bias after Glastonbury perhaps but I'd be happy to listen to some more.
Very generic. Close my eyes and it could have been any of those bands. Fine though,.
Did not like. Too new-agey.
Disappointed.
Too long, too live, too samey.
Enjoyed this. But would have to listen more to get a four.
I quite liked it. But it swam in and out of enjoyment.
