A Hard Day's Night
BeatlesPossibly the best of the Beatles Pop albums. Features all time great tracks like ‘Hard Days Night’ & ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ as well as some lesser known greats like ‘I Should Have Known Better’

A huge mix of a lot of different styles with no two songs sounding even remotely the same. The album starts so strong with ‘Protection’ having a bass that you can physically feel hitting your ears. This is the first Massive Attack album that I’ve listened to fully & I really enjoyed it
A new direction for Slipknot. It's not their best album, but that is due to the extremely high bar set by their first two albums 'Slipknot' & 'Iowa'. This album brings a slower speed but still the same energy that the band has always had. An amazing band to see perform live!
Cheap Trick wouldn't be at the top of my list of favourite bands, to be honest I hadn't heard much of their work. But they really won me over with this album. This is a great live album. The band's performance & the crowd's energy really gets you going when listening to it. One of the biggest surprises I've had so far listening to all these albums.
I’d never heard of Flamin Groovies before this album and it’s not bad. I would say that there is definitely a noticeable Rolling Stones influence to the band’s sound. Which is not a bad thing, there are noticeable influences from multiple artists on the record. But I was left thinking “most of these songs could be on a Rolling Stones album”.
A truly talented singer. Her voice is unique & powerful. It’s what makes her sound so great. Her lyrics paint a vivid picture in every song
Exactly as the title suggests. Super vivid stories told in each song. It was definitely something different, I don’t know if I would listen again
Great guitar riffs and a “fuck you” attitude throughout the whole album
A deeply emotional and entertaining performance. The energy from the audience & Cash make for an incredible live album.
A tale of two halves. The first half is a really enjoyable 70s Pop-Rock album. The second half, starting with the track ‘Intro’ featuring Rundgren explaining the extra background sounds of a recorded album, then proceeds to turn into a more psychedelic rock album with some really experimental sounds. Finishing with the song ‘I Went to the Mirror’ which starts off with Rundgren mumbling most of the lyrics until the song peaks with a George Thoroughgood/ ZZ Top guitar riff to end the track. An interesting overall enjoyable experience to say the least.

A really pleasant surprise. I had no expectations going in and this album was good. Experimenting with a few different sounds on the record but the album as a whole is great.
What an awesome album. Lots of really cool sounds all mixed into the one album. The biggest hits in here are ‘Dirty Work’ & ‘Reelin’ In the Years’ but the whole album is great!
Possibly the best of the Beatles Pop albums. Features all time great tracks like ‘Hard Days Night’ & ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ as well as some lesser known greats like ‘I Should Have Known Better’
An amazingly talented singer. Every song tells a vivid story. Walker seems like he would have been a perfect choice for a Bond movie song.
A really interesting sound. My Girls is obviously a great song, but there are many more throughout this album that I had never heard before.
A really impressive debut solo album. The songs can feel a bit raw & unpolished, but I think that’s part of Iggy Pop’s appeal.

It’s decent. I’m sure in it’s time it was revolutionary and I have no doubt that countless artists were inspired by Holly. But I feel like nowadays it just sounds like a 50’s cliche music album. Basically any of these songs could be in the background of a movie set in the fifties and you wouldn’t notice
Oh man, what an album! One of the best hip-hop records of all time! Even if you don’t like hip-hop this is worth a listen.

Great punk album!
Never heard of this band before listening. I was pleasantly surprised!
A one of a kind hip-hop group & a one of a kind album. This album features some of the groups best know songs & we're all better of for this album's existence.
A great album start to finish! I didnt realise how many of Joel's greatest songs were on this album.

I just love this sound. The haunting atmosphere that it creates is amazing.
A pleasant surprise!
A really good follow up album after the extremely high bar set by Ziggy Stardust. It's not as good as Ziggy but it still holds it's own. I would have probably given it 4.5/5
Regardless of whatever you think of Taylor as a person. This album kinda slaps
Not really my thing
Amazing album. In my personal opinion the Article Monkeys best. This album just has such great energy to it. The whole thing feels like a night out in bars and clubs. One of my all time favourites.
Probably didn’t enjoy it quite as much as Dark side of the moon but it’s still great. Shine on you crazy diamond is really awesome
Probably not as enjoyable as The Smiths. But Morrissey still brings his songwriting and vocal skills to this album
Not my thing
Funky as hell!
I liked it, some interesting tracks and styles.
Not my favourite Bowie album, but still good
Super fun new wave album. If you haven’t heard Adam and the Ants you definitely should
Big Band Jazz meets Rock! It’s definitely a unique sound. Didn’t mind it, but probably just not my thing
I liked some of it. The song with a bunch of fart sounds was an interesting artistic choice. Really experimental album. Probably would have given it 2.5
It was okay. Gave me a lot of Simon & Garfunkel folk vibes. But all in all just made me want to listen to S&G rather than this album again
It’s a unique sound for sure. But the whole time listening to the album I kept thinking “This song would be great in a movie, but not so much by itself”.
It’s a great album. Kanye bursting into the scene with The College Dropout. Although the best of Kanye was still to come on later projects.
Never really heard anything by Travis apart from ‘Why Does It Always Rain on Me?’ but I was pleasantly surprised by this album. 3.5/5
If you like that moody 80s electronic sound similar to bands like Tears for Fears then I think you will like this album.
It’s fine, nothing to write home about
A great live performance!
My favourite Bowie album! (At least so far) Just an awesome LP of songs from start to finish. The album has a biggest vibe to it and Bowie is at the peak of his powers
I liked it. Obviously I knew The Cars for ‘Just What I Needed’ but this album as a whole was pretty good. 3.5
I love this album! But I think you have to give it a 4 because there are better Stones albums that are a definite 5
Great live performance by Peter Frampton! 3.5/5
Ehhhhh I’ve always thought they were a little overrated. You’ve heard one AC/DC song you’ve heard them all. This album has pretty much 10 of the exact same song. 2.5/5
I applaud anyone who takes risks and goes outside the box in music. I liked some of what they did in this album but the overwhelming feeling was “other bands did this style better, and I’d rather just listen to that” 2.5/5
My first introduction to Hole and I loved it! I’m definitely going to check out more of their discography after listening to this.
Classic 80s sound on this album, but nothing that really stood out to me that much
I wanted to not like this album, because of some unconscious bias I had with Bob Jovi. But it was undeniable, they’re obviously not the most innovative band but their songs are catchy. So many bits in this album
I didn’t mind the ‘Actually’ album, but I don’t know, this just did not do it for me
This one surprised me, I didn’t know much about the Pretenders and I like what I heard. Hard to go wrong with a rock band that has a great front-woman on vocals
I didn’t mind it, I thought it was pretty pleasant listening. But I felt like it was a poor man’s Steely Dan or Hall & Oates so I was left wanting to listen to them instead.
This album is another good one from the White Stripes. Features some classics like Dead Leaves, Fell in love with a Girl & We’re going to be friends
3.5 - T. Rex has some good songs on this album, but as a whole it doesn’t hit that hard.
Not much to say about this album that hasn’t already been said. An absolute classic with some of Fleetwood Mac’s best songs.
It’s good, but personally I don’t understand how it seems to be ranked as the Beatles best album. I don’t think it even makes the top 3.
A truly unique artist. Everything Kate Bush does could only be done by Kate Bush. This album has so many different sounds and styles all packed into it
Totally didn’t realise that this is the band that wrote Another Girl Another Planet!
3.5/5
I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I’ve never really been that into Aerosmith so my expectations weren’t that high. But there were some really good songs in this album. 3.5/5
This album feels like the sound of a decade to some degree. Hugely popular at the time and rightly so. It also feels like it’s aged well. 4.5/5
3.5/5
Loved the out there style and lyrics. FT: Peaches
Never listened to a Deep Purple album and I was really impressed. Great tracks
Not the best album Led Zeppelin made, but it holds a special place in my heart.
Might just be my favourite LZ album. Definitely has some of my favourite songs on it. I think Kashmir might just top the list
This album definitely has the most recognisable AC/DC songs on it. But I’ve just never really understood the hype behind AC/DC. In terms of rock music they are fairly generic and didn’t bring anything new to the table. If you’ve heard one AC/DC song you’ve basically heard them all. This album gains points overall for having most of their best songs on it, but overall this is music for sporting events the same way Imagine Dragons is music for Jeep commercials. 3.5/5
I liked some of the songs from it and overall I like their sound. But this is not going to be for everyone
Never heard a full album from Tribe Called Quest. I loved it
3.5
3.5/5
I live Elvis Costello and this album was good, but nothing on the album really grabbed me as a stand-alone track like some of his other albums
I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I’d never heard a full Van Halen album and I liked what I heard
3.5
I really enjoyed this! I’d never heard any of Janelle Monáe’s music until today. The whole album had me intrigued and wanting more. 4.5/10
Some of my all time favourite Out-Kast songs, but I don’t know if this album as a whole is up there for me.
3.5/5
Baby making music
For a brief time this was my favourite Beatles album. But eventually I came to realise that the Beatles best work came after Rubber. This album definitely feels like the start of something new for the Beatles. But I do think that this album gets a bit overrated in terms of where it ranks among the Beatles work. It doesn’t crack the top 5.
Pretty good. Although I didn’t feel like there was any song that really jumped out at me as THE track from the record. But, I’m probably not the target audience anyway. 3.5/5
This was really good. Something very different than what I would normally listen to and I enjoyed it!
This was nice, really easy listening album. Some of the songs maybe felt a little too similar but I think that’s to be expected of albums from the 60s and earlier. 3.5/5
Really good! Enjoyed the whole album front to back!
4.5/5
Not my favourite Bowie album, but it’s still a Bowie album. So you know it is still good
3.5/5
It’s good, although I don’t think Iron Maiden fully reached their potential until Bruce Dickinson arrived. Still worth a listen though, 3.5/5
Not bad, not as good as ‘Can’t Buy A Thrill’ but still decent. 3.5/5
It’s fine, but it feels dated. 2.5/5
3.5/5
3.5
It’s fine, but I wasn’t blown away by any means. La Grange is obviously the best song off this album and is a classic.
Probably not the consensus choice, but this is my favourite Beatles Album. I love how experimental they went with the tracks on this record. The album is just plain great from start to finish and flows together so well. All capped off with what is probably my favourite track ‘A Day in the Life’. Love, love, love this album
Is this the best rap album of all time? No, but there’s no denying this album is full of absolute BANGERS! ‘In Da Club’ & ‘P.I.M.P.’ are obviously the most famous songs off this album, but some lesser known songs like ‘Back Down’ & ‘Many Men’ go just as hard. 4.5/5
3.5/5
