Raising Hell
Run-D.M.C.The album didn't appeal to me either when it was released or today. Even Walk this Way together with Aerosmith doesn't change that. Farewell rap rock.

Boooooooring
Gut produziertes Album, einige eingängige Songs.

Perfect
Solid, unagitated (little punk influence) but quite varied
Superb Jazz Album
A well-known song that is definitely contemporary and listenable. A Otherwise boring 60s music
A powerful Album, its still one of my favorit albums. You don't get bored listening to it.
After a few good intros that leave you wanting more - the wish is unfortunately never fulfilled - boring beats and the same staccato chanting follow. Vocally nothing special either.
Quite varied, borrowings from Arrested Development and De La Soul can be heard in my opinion
The typical Oasis sound and vocals. I like the track Champagne Supernova best because it is more varied.
The title Making it Right stands out, with strings and acoustic guitar, but a typical 70s sound like all the songs on the album. The album is still worth listening to in 2023, it is full of variety.
Relax and enjoy
I don't want to listen to that !
The album contains some catchy songs that are well worth listening to, e. g. Forgotten Works or As Above So Below. However, one listen is enough for me.

It sounds like the Doors
Nothing else Matters - just wow, always a pleasure to listen to

Can be listened to again and again, sounds fresh and cheeky
Tango with chill beats, relax or ignite the desire to dance tango
I've been listening to it since the first release - always a pleasure
Well-known songs that are still a pleasure to listen to
Guitars, harmonica and Neil's vocals, one of the best albums by Neil Young & Crazy Horses.
Not my kind of music, I liked it better when he was still playing with the Hausmartins.
A masterpiece by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.
Positive hip hop, vocally very good. I liked it very much when it came out.
Melodious album, bar music like "love is here where I live", typical 80's sound like "These early days". The album is still listenable, maybe a bit too good.

Pop with a squeaky voice, quite nice but nothing more.
Is this hard rock? Unmelodious songs and bad vocals that destroy the songs that sometimes start well. Maybe VH should have done more pop songs.

No longer contemporary and not very inspiring except for the two three well-known songs.
Should humanity be destroyed like the Martians were in the movie Mars Attacks by the song Indian Love Call by Slim Whitman? ... then keep it up!
Anyone who likes the sound and vocals of Marc Bolan will enjoy this record - perhaps not all the tracks. Surprisingly, the songs don't sound old, almost contemporary.
The sound of the Doors is still worth listening to, unfortunately a bit too much synthesizer due to the time.
Booooooooring
Nice album, pleasant melodies that only reveal themselves after repeated listening.
Gitarrensolos von Blackmore und generell der Sound und Gesang sind es immer noch Wert nach 50 Jahren gehört zu werden. Und Smoke on the Water bleibt ein Ohrwurm.
Boring, unnecessary to hear.
Listened to the album again after a long time. The first two songs still stand out clearly and still sound contemporary
There is definitely country music worth listening to, but not this album. I'm reminded of Mars Attacks, Slim Whitman's Indian Love Song - that album is on the verge of destroying humanity.
Solidly produced album with one track that stands out - All I wanna do. Not really a lasting impression that makes you want to listen to it again, apart from maybe the occasional All I wanna do.
I've heard it several times, I like it.
I can't stand it.
Apart from the one catchy tune, it's a rather unimaginative album.
Repetitive rhythms, but these slightly annoying, screaming and demanding vocals make it interesting for the inclined listener. And Higway to Hell is still a catchy tune that people like to rock out to at parties!
Worth listening to, unfortunately a little too simple and straightforward.
I'll never get used to Cohen's style and repetitive wailing.
Perhaps the album will open up to you as a fan of the Who.

The vocals and the tracks on the album remind me of the Violent Femmes and their album Why do Birds Sing? Both albums are great!
It may be something special for Taylor Swift to produce an album with just a few instruments. The musical themes are repetitive and the vocals get boring with every track. Perhaps a glass of red wine and candlelight will help you to enjoy the album to some extent.
Baba is still audible, the rest has fallen out of time Good bye, whoever!

fallen out of time, inaudible.
After three listens the album opened up and some songs, e.g. She so loose, Time or Sofa of My Lethargy (best song) do alternative rock all honor. Alright, is a well-made pop song.
In the 80s, it was a sometimes good and danceable pop production. In my opinion, the album never had any other aspirations. After 40 years, however, the varnish is clearly off, for me personally it's clearly too soft, the songs seem boring without substance.
Uniform pop song mush. London Love and Clover over Dover stand out nicely. Yawn.
Inspiring and varied album, a pleasure to listen to.
Nice album from the 80s. Apart from the two well-known songs, the rest of the album is not very inspiring.
Some of the songs (Visions of you, Bomba, Soledad) start off very promisingly until the vocals kick in and everything evaporates into lighter-wielding melodies.
The album is timeless, but too pleasing for me, and unfortunately it doesn't even come close to the debut album with its inspiring melodies and rhythms
Nevermind has lost none of its power. A listening pleasure for friends of grunge.
Rhythms out of time, thin voice. The album was certainly quite nice when it was released, but nothing for eternity.
The album is simply fun to listen to. Rhythms, horns, choir, a harmonious work.
Yet another unnecessary sampler from a now uninteresting artist. Regards to those in marketing who did this.
Boooooooring
I can listen to it when other music is inserted between the songs. E.g. from the album Graceland by Paul Simon, that loosens it up a bit.
Two of the album's songs are timeless and appealing.
Fallen out of time.
Quite passable but uninspired for parts. The acoustic track You're a Big Girl Now stands out pleasantly. Area 51 has a good groove and is also pleasing. The rest is so Oasis-like, well-behaved and probably due to the times.
... doesn't want to have to listen to that !!
The album takes some time to get used to. Then it gets better and better with its calm, unagitated songs.
Uninspired pop ballads, unnecessary to listen to.
Uninspired pop ballads. Another one of those listen-once-and-forget-it-immediately albums.
Still an extremely listenable album, rhythmically and the distinctive vocals of David Byrne are simply a novelty. .. all I want is to breath.
Partly varied pieces, then again unimaginative and recurring rhythms, good pleasing vocals. I would describe the album as pleasing post-punk.
Its a Clapton Album, and its old.
Did not convince me
A typically Joni Mitchell Album
A melodious piano spectacle, a grandiose work in the right listening mood.
Number 1 of the 1001 albums that nobody wants to listen to
I don't have a single Metallica album on my record or CD shelf. And it will stay that way after listening to these recordings.
Sara, then the album offers nothing worth listening to. Furthermore, the individual tracks do not form a coherent picture to form an album.
The album invites you to relax. Some passages a little too monotonous, otherwise quite beautiful and varied soundscapes.
Gershwin songs have always been too gentle and catchy - just not to offend anyone. And by 2024 at the latest, they will have fallen out of time!
This was perhaps worth listening to for a few music lovers when the album was released, typical 70s arrangements paired with bad vocals. But I don't want to listen to that in the year 2024. That's why this is a top 10 album of the 1001 albums that are no longer worth listening to.
It's impossible to listen to, hip-hop with too much experimentation and unattractive vocals.
Musically quite good, but the vocals fall short of expectations, the voice is too thin. After a few songs, everything becomes repetitive, no variety, not very inspiring.
Everything fits together here, the musical style, the vocals that complement the songs very well, a strong voice that doesn't get lost. A varied album with inspiring pieces, a joy to listen to.
Once heard, that's enough. Quite passable - rather boring pieces. Nothing made me want to listen to it again.
I can't always listen to U2's dark and melancholy attitude. Today I went back to listening to different albums and tracks. Lemon, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Sweetest Thing or The Wanderer with the incomparable Jonny Cash.
Oh no, inaudible shallow crooning
Average sound from the 60s, but still audible. Two or three good tracks, such as Groovin, which clearly stand out.
Beautiful and light music, feet bobbing to the beat. Melancholic, serious lyrics that combine quite well with the music.
Clearly out of time, standard rhythm of the 80s. It all sounds like Janet Jackson and similar artists of the time.
Very relaxed album, e.g. Sweet Life. Vocally also on a very high level.
Garage sound at its finest that harmonizes wonderfully with Karen O's powerful voice.
Three tracks on one record that have strongly influenced Neil Young's unmistakable musical style, great!
With the exception of Bohemian Rapsody, the rest of the album is no longer convincing, even Freddie Mercury's inspiring vocals can't change that.
Relaxed African music with beautiful and catchy rhythms.
A very unagitated and calm album, maybe I miss some more powerful vocals from PJ Harvey from time to time.
Maybe in some big city outskirts of adolescents a heard album ...
Old, too old the album.
Some songs are quite ok and are reminiscent of other blues artists. Otherwise nothing I would like to hear again.
Melodious music with a voice to match. The typical sound of the fading 60s, the musical Hair sends its regards
Quite nice pop but not very inspiring and vocals with a thin voice
Quite nice pop but vocally and musically nothing inspiring and little individuality of the group. Sounds partly like The Style Council
Decades ago, it was definitely nice to hear one or two songs to identify with an oppressed group.
Not the kind of music that appeals to me nor has it managed to get a reaction
Started listening to the album and switched to Rhythms of the Saints after three songs. I just like it better
Good sound but only a few songs that I still find unique and worth listening to, e.g. Dumb or Pennyroyal Tea.
I'm a higway star! Simply good better ... perfect! And then Smoke on the Water, brilliant! ... and this is also a concert recording Sound and vocals are very well mixed. A pleasure to listen to the album... I would have loved to have been there
Still a good album to listen to after decades. However, I'm not satisfied with the vocal performances, the voice is a bit thin and can't always fulfill the musical requirements. But what the hell, good sound and pleasing tracks.
Nice album, with some line-less pieces
