Surprisingly soulful

Really cool psychedelic album. From what I’ve heard it was ahead of its time.

Truly awful.

Great album from Led Zep, its way more raw than their other work and feels natural

Some amazing songs on this album, i feel like it is the anthem of a certain time and a certain place. Not being from that era, it doesn't touch me the way it would other people and a therefore dont view it as one of the greats.

I like a few Tom Waits songs but i find this kind of music insufferably pretentious.

Weak album. His wonderful voice tried to carry the mediocro song writing but failed miserably

Looking back on it after all these years it feels a littke cheap and unnecessary. I think maybe two or three songs were actually complimented by the orchestra, on the rest the orchestra just kind of got in the way.

The song is factastic but the album struggles to ride on its coattails. Full of generic licks and predictable drum fills. Its ahead of its time in the sense that it feels like it belonga in the 80s, the decade where the blues had finally died.

Greatest album of all time. You never give me no money has been my favourite song as long as i cam remember, it is constantly changing, never repeating. Its the perfect break between the two starkly different halves of the album.
