Song with the guy from Radiohead was definitely a stand out along with the later half of the album in my opinion. Kind of felt Courtney love/Janis Joplin-ish

I liked the other SY album a lot more this seemed a little less organized and grungy

Heard this many times already. Good album, he basically comes out in this album and lyrically it’s centered around a love and relationship type vibe the whole time and it makes more sense when put together at the end

2 stars if it wasn’t for island and intro. Intro by itself is 5 star

I really like this album compared to the last one. It’s a lot more new aged for the time and it had a natural and flow. Literally, I think he was talking about finding a love and a new girl, but then back to the old love, but I couldn’t follow.

Really liked it , there where actually a lot of songs I knew and it was strong with The Beach Boys vibe

Obligatory five stars because of what this album is. One of the greatest rap albums of all time this arguably could be the best rap album of all time because of a lot of things. I didn’t realize how much foreshadowing there was in his death. Literally every song is about him about to be killed or getting some ass lol

Actually really liked it- was very fatboy slim, chemical brothers, daft punk ish but its own kind of feeling. I liked the samples and breaking up of chaos with classical instruments on there

3 stars in reality because I’m comparing it to that album with the flowers on the cover and the other one with the guys face … but songs like run and fine time make up for it for me

I really don’t know how to feel after hearing it lol. It was half French and like English I couldn’t tell half the time. I left feeling like I watched multiple intro videos for like 90’s shows - not sure lol

Idk but I only really liked Chicago because of the signal runners remix lol the rest of the album was like shut up man.

It was talking over slow alt rock , not my thing. Some songs on the bonus tracks picked up a little and had cool moments but they fizzled out

So at first the airy waffty 80s vocals gave me a bad feeling. But after listening they have a lot of experimental sounds and instruments and I thought that was cool. The mermaid song was like that and also I think that dear god song kind of has pop vibes of modern songs
