Abbey Road
BeatlesI remember listening to this album at night when I was a kid. Golden slumbers still gives me goosebumps. Amazing album
I remember listening to this album at night when I was a kid. Golden slumbers still gives me goosebumps. Amazing album
Great album! But the last song got me scratching my head - where did the cow come from and what does it have to do with farting power pussy
This one didn’t click with me. Production is good, but I didn’t like the style overall. Guess it’s my mathematics phd and lack of verbal intelligence
Energetic and creative Always liked ms Jackson, but never listened to the whole album before. B.O.B is 🔥🔥🔥
I found the style of vocals a little bit annoying. I know it supposed to be emotional and soft, but to me it sounded kinda whiny. Not a bad album but not something I would listen to again
Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year’s Day are great, haven’t listened them in a long time. The rest of the album is alright, but man was I bored in the second half.
It’s ok as a background music, I guess… very bland It’s like a mix between bob Dylan’s vocal style, arcade fire-ish melodies and the most basic indie rock sound. Not one song stood out to me, an hour long kick-snare-kick and lots of reverb
Not as great as their later albums imo, but still pretty good, especially considering it's a debut
Minimalistic, high energy, unique style. The only song I knew from the band was psycho killer, now I’m definitely gonna listen to the whole discography
it’s an automatic 5/5 for me. Such a raw, beautiful set. заебумба.
Loved the vibe. Dreamy, psychedelic, easy listen
Beach elderly men I felt warmth in my heart
It’s good as a background music for moving images. It’s funky and stuff, but why tf is it on 1001 greatest albums list? In the words of shaft, man an hour long soundtrack of some 70s tv series on this list come on you gotta be kidding me. Never seen shaft
he’s a monkey
Bland but listenable
Simple and genius songwriting, awesome drums. Love every song from this record
I don’t like price. Sometimes he sounds like he’s masturbating while recording, other times he sounds like a squealing pig. I tried getting into his music before, but it’s just not for me. this album is alright tho, mainly because of the closer
acoustic live version of hotel California song is better
Sympathy for the devil is great, the rest of the album is meh
Good songwriting, but old-timey mixing made it sound boring to me
My kind of dancing music Made me bounce on my butt Great way to start friday
Lame
Fun
Didn’t know this album wasn’t live They got me
Look at that smug face lol Not a fan, it has a couple of pretty good songs tho
Interesting album Orange crush stood out, great song
It’s alright. Nothing mindblowing
Another day, another rem album. This one’s pretty good
Kinda boring. I don’t get Springsteen
First time listening to this band, great album. Melodic and beautiful, definitely gonna check out their other albums
Paul is the goat
Wow, what a great album. I used to listen to I wanna be adored back in the day, only now I’m finding out this album has so many more gems.
Damn, it’s like she was born heartbroken. Good for a debut
No need to get high for this album, this album IS the high
the most energetic nostalgia trip I’ve ever experienced
Good stuff
Expected more tbh
Sounds like a boring jam session for the most part
that’s much better than what I’ve expected from a 1985 album that is trying to blend pop and noise. Post punk sounding vocals, hypnotic guitar noises and catchy pop melodies. Great album
Bland ‘n’ Boring And Bob’s yer uncle
Sounds uninspired. Such a boring album… I WAS A LIiiiOOoN
The lyrics are a bit weird in some songs
Great stuff
Rudderless and my drug buddy stood out, the rest is meh
Fun album, loved it in my teenage years. That tempo shif part of take me out still rocks
Not a fan of Elvis
Raw energy and catchy melodies
Three days is great, the rest I didn’t enjoy that much
Wouldn’t it be nice if every album was as great as this one
Good but a bit repetitive
Fun and new wavey
couple of great songs, a little over the top with emotions at points
Instrumentals are interesting at times. The style reminded me of father John misty, but the album felt bland overall
I remember listening to this album at night when I was a kid. Golden slumbers still gives me goosebumps. Amazing album
Not my thing
Never listened to their earlier stuff. Pretty good
Fun and grungy, but gets old quickly
Not bad, but nothing special
The album sounds amazing, the songs were not that memorable to me though
Beautiful voice, boring songs
Vibe
Pretty interesting, couple of good songs. Didn’t like it that much
This album made my day. So many great beats, funny, touching moments and surprises throughout
Perfect album for Saturday morning coffee
Kinda hated it tbh
Badass
Didn’t hate it, but didn’t friend anything interesting in it either
This guy’s pretty good
Funky
It’s alright, not really my thing
Instrumentals were great, but I didn’t like the vocal style
Great songwriting. Loved this album with the exception of 2-3 songs that sounded outdated
Half of the songs on this album I LOVE - pyramid song, you and whose army, life in a glasshouse etc. but the rest of the album feels too experimental and b-sidey
LA LA LALALAA LA LA LALALA
Meh
His singing style is so goofy, I laughed out loud a couple of times during this album. Still enjoyed some of the songs, but surprisingly not mr tambourine man, even though it’s my favourite of his - didn’t like this version of it at all
So happy to see this as my album of the day. Timeless
Separate art from the artist challenge, level: hard
That solo in free bird is always exciting to hear. The album is alright, not something I usually listen to
I was going to give this album a 4, since I only remembered two songs from it, and they were fantastic. I ended up really enjoying all the songs that got overshadowed by Lazarus and blackstar for me on previous listens. It’s now one of my favourite Bowie albums.
Has its highs and lows. Lyrics are great as always. Singing style was way too weird for me on some songs. Not my favourite of his
Smooth, usually don’t like this type of music, but dire straits is an exception
Interesting at points, but didn’t like it that much
