Funkadelic
4/5
Great album!
But the last song got me scratching my head - where did the cow come from and what does it have to do with farting power pussy
Common
2/5
This one didn’t click with me.
Production is good, but I didn’t like the style overall. Guess it’s my mathematics phd and lack of verbal intelligence
OutKast
4/5
Energetic and creative
Always liked ms Jackson, but never listened to the whole album before.
B.O.B is 🔥🔥🔥
Elliott Smith
3/5
I found the style of vocals a little bit annoying. I know it supposed to be emotional and soft, but to me it sounded kinda whiny. Not a bad album but not something I would listen to again
U2
3/5
Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year’s Day are great, haven’t listened them in a long time. The rest of the album is alright, but man was I bored in the second half.
The War On Drugs
2/5
It’s ok as a background music, I guess… very bland
It’s like a mix between bob Dylan’s vocal style, arcade fire-ish melodies and the most basic indie rock sound. Not one song stood out to me, an hour long kick-snare-kick and lots of reverb
Pink Floyd
3/5
Not as great as their later albums imo, but still pretty good, especially considering it's a debut
Talking Heads
4/5
Minimalistic, high energy, unique style. The only song I knew from the band was psycho killer, now I’m definitely gonna listen to the whole discography
Nirvana
5/5

Ozomatli
2/5
Bland but listenable
Nirvana
5/5
Simple and genius songwriting, awesome drums. Love every song from this record
Prince
3/5
I don’t like price. Sometimes he sounds like he’s masturbating while recording, other times he sounds like a squealing pig. I tried getting into his music before, but it’s just not for me. this album is alright tho, mainly because of the closer
Eagles
3/5

The Rolling Stones
3/5

The Jesus And Mary Chain
4/5
that’s much better than what I’ve expected from a 1985 album that is trying to blend pop and noise. Post punk sounding vocals, hypnotic guitar noises and catchy pop melodies. Great album

5/5
I was going to give this album a 4, since I only remembered two songs from it, and they were fantastic.
I ended up really enjoying all the songs that got overshadowed by Lazarus and blackstar for me on previous listens.

Fun album, but most songs are forgettable. Beetlebum, song 2 and death of a party are great
Tim Buckley
2/5
Boring ass album
Ella Fitzgerald
4/5
Perfect for a sunny and warm Sunday morning. If there are any more 3 hour albums on this list, it’d better be someone as magnificent as Ella Fitzgerald.
Btw, it’s amusing that the most popular review here is basically calling people who’s giving it a 5 spineless and giving it a 1 in “protest”
