plakuwa total i absolutny klasyczek

Raw Power by The Stooges
Oct 17 2025

i was never a big fan of iggy's vocals, thats why it was even hard for me to play this album in the first place. but i did! and i found the guitars very appealing, i love the raw/dirty sound of them, thats what i dig. buuuuut... i think that's it. i can't relax while listening, can't headbang, the album is lacking some HIT powerful moments imo. "raw power" has potential, its beginning nicely, hardly, but then still... nothing more is happening. the same with "i need somebody", sounds so nice at the beginning, but then... what? not even one good solo. VERY BORING ALBUM IN GENERAL.

Play by Moby

finally listened to this one! i think it’s a classic and now i’m not surprised why. the songs are so well mixed and flow into each other, but at the same time every track feels fresh. i feel like it mixes bits of electronic, ambient, trip-hop, even blues and gospel samples, and it all actually works together. plus, there are some huge hits here like porcelain, why does my heart feel so bad? and natural blues! - songs you’ve probably heard even if you never listened to the whole album

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Oct 21 2025

only knew the biggest hits before. whole album just hell yeah! \m/

Palo Congo by Sabu

Couple of years ago I thought people listening to aphex were such edgy and music nerds, they appreciated him a lot. I couldn’t force myself to listen, I was too afraid bcs I had too much respect to it somehow LOL, like it would be “out of my league”. Thanks to writing for music column in student magazine, I had occasion to do an interview with someone who produces ambient and I ended up liking this genre. Now I like aphex a lot, even his “weirder” albums, they are absolutely dope!! What’s funnier, turned out I knew one aphex song but I wasn’t aware it was him (back when I was a student).

Nov 06 2025

first time I heard The Streets in Life is Strange 2, with “on the flip of a coin” song. They stole my heart then. I’m not so convinced to this album tbh, but sounds freshy and worth listening if you love Brits accent haha. Whole album is just yapping with music in background lol

Clandestino by Manu Chao
May 31 2026

years ago i showed my ex my new book with 1001 music albums to listen to, i use this book til this day (every morning at work, to discover new music). i told him to circle the albums that he considers must listen, and clandestino was one of them. i was suprised, since he was a radiohead snob intelectual nerd type of guy. but i loved the album so much and i happily come back to listen to it from time to time <3 back then i was too young to understand the importance of diversity in someone's music taste. i didn't think much of it at the time, unlike today. another boy taught me to appreciate seamless transitions between songs on an album. it's funny when you think about it — every guy i've dated ended up contributing to my character development in some way. thanks to all of them, i'm who i am today, and i'm genuinely grateful for it. i recalled it when i heard the smooth transition between "clandestino" and "desparecido", mmmm!

Abbey Road by Beatles
Jun 02 2026

my first music love! i discovered the beatles in secondary school. with my friend, we were obsessed with them, talking about them everyday, exchanging photos, newly discovered songs etc. our group of friends after some time made a bet that we cant make 2 days without talking about the beatles. it was so cringe and hard, but we won the bet and we discovered another topics to talk about, and thats how our bond became stronger <3 <3
