One of the best indie rock albums ever recorded. Captures a moment in musical time, a perfectly paced album that hasn't grown stale in the years since release.

It was alright... a few standout songs, but it started to all kind of blend together after a while.

Nice somber album. Slow, thoughtful, tinged with regret. Not something I'd listen to every day, but it definitely scratches the occasional itch.

I have a hard time separating the Artist from the Art on this one, didn't blow me away.

Great album. Was expecting a sound closer to the Beatles, but it was refreshingly different. Hadn't heard this album before, and was pleasantly surprised

Wasn't too familiar with this band, until I heard "There She Goes" Only song that really stood out, to be honest, but it was overall a decent album.

I can't separate the album from the cultural significance... I've heard all the songs my entire life, inescapable.

A timeless classic, which is ironic, given that the genre "Post-Punk" is defined by it's moment in time. It was great when it was released, it's great now

Classic Rock and Roll, there's a reason this album is venerated as one of the best Rock albums of all time

Classic example of folk rock. It isn't bad, but it didn't strike me as a superlative album. Maybe there is some context as to when it was released that I'm not aware of.

Decent album, reminded me a lot of the Flaming Lips. But I can't actively remember any of the songs, so it was a little forgettable.

Fun album, nothing that stands out, but it's fun.

It was certainly a product of it's time. Bittersweet Symphony is the standout track, and the only one I can really remember.

I had never heard of this artist before, but really enjoyed the album. Happy music, easy to listen to.

One of the origins of one of my favorite genres, this album gets points for historical importance. However, the production quality is rough, to be kind, and the music isn't as well developed as the bands that it inspired. Still, I don't hate it, and can appreciate it for what it is.

I can see why Robbie Williams is such a star in the UK. I wasn't familiar with his music before listening to this, and while it isn't necessarily my usual cup of tea, it was enjoyable.

I don't normally enjoy live albums, as they are usually inferior to studio recordings of the same material, but this is a fantastic exception.

I can appreciate Morrissey for the music he made, but I can't help but find it a little whiny these days.

Somewhat hard to listen to. I can appreciate the raw nature of the recording and songwriting, but there are so many other albums with the same quality that are just nicer to listen to.

Slower than I expected.... reminded me of old folk/country music, oddly enough ,with a modern sensibility. I liked it, but it generally isn't for me.

A surprise! Somehow, I never even heard of this album, but it was great. I'm usually not a fan of R&B, but this has some quality that won me over.

I vaguely recognized the name, but I had no idea how prolific Louis Prima really was. He must be among the most covered artists of all time. Great music

Classic NY Punk. Say what you want about the Ramones, they aren't the most technically impressive band, but I've never met anyone that hates this album. Maybe not their cup of tea, but nobody outright HATES them. That alone is impressive as hell.

Not really my thing. Wasn't bad for what it is though.

Bit of a surprise to me. I had never heard of this band, and at first, it seemed like it was the overly pretentious indie rock that you heard about at a coffee shop because you weren't cool enough to discover them. But as it went on, it grew on me, and I get why it's a great album.

Another album that I didn't even know existed. With obvious inspiration from David Bowie, The Associates manage to not be a copy by incorporating a lot of experimental elements from New Wave and Post Punk, making it a fun album I'll definitely listen to more in the future.

Not just a great funk album, the guitar solos are top tier

Classic proto-punk, it's easy to see Iggy's jazz and soul inspiration, with a Detroit background and a New York point of view. One of my favorite albums

My least favorite The Who album, but it might be because I've heard it way too often

This might be the first album on this list that I didn't enjoy. I can see how it may have been important in the early formation of 80's hip hop, but it seemed like a parody of itself
