This is one of my all time favourite records. Lou Reed truly penned some tragically beautiful songs that will last for ages.

Starts and ends with a bang. The rest is 🤷🏻‍♂️

What a dang boo this album is. So theatrical and fun. How has it taken me 30 years of living to listen to this in full?

I just couldn’t get myself to focus on this album. The playing is great and they’re all super skilled players, this particular album is just a bit too background music for me.

First cd I ever bought. Still mostly holds up and there are a couple songs that are still iconic.

I’m not sure how this ended up being the first full Dylan album I listened to, but I’m definitely not disappointed. I think this album came to me exactly when I needed to hear it and it was wonderful. How was he only 22?

“Life is hard and so am I” may be one of the greatest opening lines to a record I’ve ever heard.

Definitely not for me. There aren't any songs on this record that I find myself wanting to revisit. Oh well.

One of the all time greats. I have been listening to this album for as long as I can remember and it still hits me in the same intense way every time. A most beautiful guy punch.

Dropping the N-word in the first song how fun. I went into this record assuming I wouldn’t like it and that sort of just sealed the deal. Yikes.

This is a pure chaotic mess yet it’s weirdly fun and hard to stop listening. I probably won’t come back to it but I definitely had fun while it was on!

This is the second album by The Who I’ve gotten and I like it way more than the first. The banter is incredible and the quality of the recording is great. I suppose it’s the greatest hits type set list that appeals to me.

It’s OutKast. I don’t really need to say more. It was definitely my first introduction to the group when I was a kid. This isn’t my favourite of their records but even some of their worst stuff is better than most other people’s stuff. B.O.B is still one of the biggest bangers of all time!

This album is so ethereal feeling. Almost like it’s one continuous song. I barely notice the actual words being said, but surprisingly that isn’t a negative for this record. It just adds to the feeling of being under a spell for the nearly hour long run time. A spell I would gladly be put under again and again.

Title/opening track is obviously iconic. Definitely wasn’t expecting a little West Side Story reference on here. A lot of the synth tones sound like they are straight out of a SNES game ost. I did not expect the weird jazz break in the middle. Other than the title track the best thing about this record is how short it is. This record is out completely.

Slow start but it really picks up and makes you want to move! I’d give it a 3.5 if I could.
