I don't think this is the worst album in the book; found its experimentation quite compelling. Wouldn't say I loved it but I respect it and thought that it was successful in what it set out to do

After a rough few days of albums it's always good to get an absolute classic like this. Every song here is brilliant

A set of absolute bangers, immaculately performed and produced. Nile Rodgers' guitar and Bernard Edwards' bass particularly stand and there's enough variety in the style of songs to keep it interestjng

Awesome album with a great fusion of classic rock sounds and Latin-inspired rhythms. Santana's guitar work is particularly outstanding and I love every track (with maybe the exception of the last one but that's more of a short outro than anything)

Cool funk-inspired stuff, very different to the other album I've had from him (Happy Sad). Lyrics are pretty weak but the music and overall performance is strong enough to make up for that

The common red fox has led a good life in the wild for many years. However, in 2008, its existence was threatened by the introduction of a new pest species called the fleet foxes. These pests were hard to spot because anytime anybody saw one, they would say "wooaaahhhh" and the person who had sighted them would instantly feel bored and fall asleep.
However, this story has a happy ending; after the invasion of 2008, the red fox has gone on to survive as the predominant species in the wild as the fleet foxes failed to find any more major success. Legend says the fleet foxes can still be heard every now and then, however, so unless you're looking to cure some insomnia, you better watch out.
The 4 main songs are amazing, the solo stuff adds some charm, works well in-between the longer prog epics

What is that noise? I didn't care for the one I heard that much or particularly want to hear it again, aside from the first track, which was a banger. It was a very long and boring noise as well, clocking in at 50 minutes or so
It was an awesome listen, performance and production top tier, one of the best jazz albums I have heard
I liked how he introduced the format and structure of Indian music, I definitely respect it a lot but not sure if I'd go back to it much as an album

Respect the experimentation and taking a left turn after Rumours, but a lot of things that didn't do much for me and still felt quite middle-of-the-road and uninteresting a lot of the time. Lyrics not great either but this gets extra points just because the best stuff on here is very good, but is just buried among a load of mediocre stuff
Some good stuff on here, generally liked pretty much every track and thought she her unique perspective helped set it apart from other contemporary 80s pop, as well as the blending of styles. Unfortunately, the production is very dated and of its time which doesn't help. Pretty good listen overall though

One of the most iconic rock albums of all time, might not even be in my top 3 Zeppelin albums which shows how consistently great their catalogue is, nearly everything on here is a classic
It's good but wouldn't go back to it much even though I like Deep Purple mainly because I'm not a big fan of live recordings and would rather listen to studio versions in most cases. This also applies here; the performance is very good but everything is so drawn out and I don't like it enough to warrant placing it over the studio version, especially since the production on the studio recordings is much better
Some decent tunes on here but overall felt very middle of the road and too slick; for someone who is deemed the king of rock'n'roll there was a lack of energy and spirit as well as any real energy or... rock'n'roll. The backing vocals also sound very cheesy and dated, generally don't see the appeal despite a few good tracks

Wanted to like it because of the idea behind it and the fact that I like Southern rock, but this is over 90 minutes of music which sounds almost exactly the same and there's a lack of energy and groove there as well, loses points for being too long would have been a 3 if it was a single album
Thought I would enjoy this but really didn't, found it incredibly overblown with the songs having a lack of variety or spaces to allow the music to breathe, just annoying by the end and the vocals really don't help with that.

Really enjoyed this from start to finish, thought despite it being an album about love it offered a good variety of perspectives and was sufficiently varied musically to never be boring. Thought the production was solid and enjoyed the grandiose elements, along with the humourous lyrics that really set it apart from a lot of other albums from this era included on the list, which are a bit too self-serious at times

Another album which is important to have on the list because of sheer influence. The title track is amazing and most of the rest is pretty good, with a couple of weaker tunes (Scorpio). Quite different to what I expected in places, especially with the two soul tracks included as well, although I still quite enjoyed them despite the lyrics being a bit weak there
