The Blueprint
JAY ZTerrible. One of the few albums I couldn't stand to finish. Take generic simple beats, samples from better music, and drone talking about how much of a badass nigga you are and you have JAY Z.
Terrible. One of the few albums I couldn't stand to finish. Take generic simple beats, samples from better music, and drone talking about how much of a badass nigga you are and you have JAY Z.
It was OK. The live album that comes w/ the deluxe version of The Joshua Tree was incredible though.
This is one I had back in the 90s. It's not bad. Not really my thing. I liked the songs for the most part but what dropped another star for me was how most of the songs sound like they're clipping (maybe a victim of the loudness wars?). It sounds horrible.
It didn't wow me but it's not bad. I listened twice.
I made it through the album but was not a fan of the music at all.
Not bad, not great.
Good stuff. I enjoyed this one.
I LOVE this band/album. So good.
I wasn't a huge fan of this album (though the live album that came after this one on the deluxe set was killer).
Great album. Hard to believe this was released in 1987. I listened a couple of times and enjoyed it.
I thought I'd enjoy this one more than I did. It wasn't bad just wasn't really my thing.
I wasn't a huge fan of this one. Not bad, just not my thing.
Pretty generic 70s rock album. I was kind of surprised by this given it's Queen. Not bad, but quite forgettable.
I'm not a huge fan of this band but the album wasn't too bad.
I enjoyed this album.
This was pretty good stuff! I love this era and genre of music though I have never heard this band before.
Such an iconic album. What else can be said about it? I loved it.
I wasn't a huge fan of this one. Lots of dead space in it. Pretty boring listen.
Not a fan of this one at all. Quite boring. Songs not that great. I could barely finish it.
I wasn't a fan of this album. It was hard to get through.
Not really my thing but I didn't hate it.
I really liked this one. Felt like a modern day indie album, as relevant today as ever.
I didn't mind the album but I wasn't a huge fan either.
Classic 60s album. If you've been alive for a while you've heard this album in a number of TV shows and movies.
Never really listened to The Verve outside of that one hit they had in the 90s but I really liked this album. One of the best so far.
Classic album, I LOVED it. Been listening to them all day long.
Surprisingly good, not what you'd expect for a Beach Boys album. Really enjoyed this. Had to double check a few times I was listening to the right album as it sounds nothing like their earlier stuff.
Great album. A classic.
Wasn't a huge fan of this one but it wasn't bad.
Classic 80s album. Some good tracks on it but not that great overall.
Never heard of these buys before but I really liked this one. Will definitely be checking out more albums from them.
A classic from my generation. Not a bad album.
Not really my thing but I enjoyed this album!
Terrible, first album I really hated and could not finish. Generic soft rock. Forgettable. Milquetoast.
Complete banger of an album. I listened to it multiple times yesterday. A true classic. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hated it. Couldn’t even finish it. This early 60s rock is probably my least favorite period/genre of music.
Love Megadeth! Not my favorite album but still really good.
Never listened to ABBA before but this album wasn't too bad!
Better than the other Springsteen album on this list. Chill acoustic vibes. Could be played at a coffee shop.
Terrible. Worst album on this list. It's experimental noise essentially. I could scarcely listen to a few tracks.
I wasn't a big fan of this one. Kind of a weird album and not in a good way.
Classic album. Not bad.
I didn't much care for this album. It was OK just not great.
To be honest, I am just not a big fan of Joni Mitchell. I've tried repeatedly to listen to her and just don't enjoy most of her music.
First listen: WTF is this? Of course, I've heard the first track before. Classic. The rest though? Second listen: this isn't bad. Third: I love it. What a weird album!
Classic rock album from start to finish. Love it.
A beautiful album.
A classic from start to finish. I love this album.
Not bad.
This is what I call "noise torture." I got through maybe a third of it but couldn't stand it. Definitely not for me. Some sort of experimental music.
It's hard to take this guy seriously, perhaps because his music has been parodied so much over the years. I quite frankly did not enjoy this album much.
The music can be beautiful at times but there is something about Sigur Rós that I have never liked. Maybe it's partly to do w/ the fact that they use a made up language. Maybe the music is too low energy for normal listening. The album isn't bad, it's just not for me.
Not my usual thing but I actually quite enjoyed this. Early 90s rap/hiphop reminds me of the teen center days.
Another classic YES album. Loved it.
I wasn't a huge fan of this album but it wasn't bad.
Great album. I enjoyed it.
Was just OK. I love this genre/era of music but I wasn't overly wowed by this album.
Pretty weird album. Wasn't all that into it.
I love Sabbath, but this album isn't their greatest. Some good tracks but quite boring and forgettable overall.
I'm not a big fan of most music from this period. Wasn't a bad album but I didn't much care for it.
I actually really enjoyed this album and I'm not even a big fan of the Stones. It's really good.
This was one of his better albums.
This is such an odd double album. A few good tracks, some bizarre, some skits. Not really my thing, but I enjoyed it for the most part.
It was OK. Some good tracks.
Pretty decent album, a classic.
Great chill album. I liked it.
It's not a bad album. I just don't care for Adele that much, to be honest. To my ears it's highly produced pop music that isn't very interesting.
This album must've been removed from most streaming platforms but I was able to find it on YT. I enjoyed it.
A classic. Not bad.
A classic album. One of my favorites. I love this guy.
Terrible. One of the few albums I couldn't stand to finish. Take generic simple beats, samples from better music, and drone talking about how much of a badass nigga you are and you have JAY Z.
Not really my thing but not bad.
What can be said about this album? It's iconic. A masterpiece from start to finish. I wonder if these guys had any idea of what they were creating when they were writing and recording this album. Can you imagine?
Not a bad album. Nothing too exciting.
Not bad. Nothing really thrilling. Good background music.
I didn't care for this album.
A classic.
Not bad. The music they play at World Market.
Pretty decent early Mudhoney. Not bad.
Not bad but nothing too exciting.
A classic. I love it.
I loved this album.
Not my usual listen but I listened to this album at least three times. I will again now I think. Good stuff.
Good stuff. Classic. Great live album.
An absolute classic. I LOVE this album.
Another classic album.
Not a huge Dylan fan. It's a pretty boring album and some of the songs are dumb.
Usually I like Lana Del Rey but this one was a bit underwhelming. I did enjoy it for the most part though.
Pretty decent album.
Not bad.
Another beautiful album by Stevie. Not really my thing but how can you not love him.
I didn't really care for this album.
Not really my thing but not bad.
Great album.
Pretty decent! Especially the live tracks at the end of the deluxe album. These guys are/were pretty awesome.
Not bad. Some tracks rock hard. 🤘🏼
I wasn't a big fan of this album.
What can be said about this album. Total classic. Nothing mind blowing. Just a damn good rock album.
Pretty decent album. Not bad at all.
Interesting album. Not bad.
Classic album, I enjoyed it.
I've never listened to this one before. It's pretty good. Nothing Earth shattering. Just a decent Genesis album.
Never really listened to James Brown but this album was incredible. A ton of fun. I don't even really care much for this period/genre of music. The way he interacts with the crowd is so fun. You can hear all the girls screaming and going wild. I feel like even I would have had a blast at this show.
Never heard of these guys before but I really enjoyed this album.
I wasn't a big fan of this album. It's not bad but it's just not that good to my ears either. I've never been a big fan of British pop from the 90s (or any other time to be honest).
I loved this! Good stuff. I'm listening to it again for the third time.
Not a huge fan of Neil Young, but this album wasn't too bad.
I wasn't a huge fan of this album. It's not bad but it didn't do much for me.
I thoroughly enjoyed this classic album.
A pleasant album. I enjoyed it.
Good stuff. I enjoyed this.
This one is a tough one. I've never been a big fan of music like this. It's not a bad album, just not for these ears.
Not a bad album, just not really for me.
I really enjoyed this album!
Not really my thing, but not bad.
Wasn't bad.
Not bad.
Not bad.
Incredible live album. A classic. Banger after banger.
It was OK. Nothing spectacular.
Not bad.
I really enjoyed this album. Listened to it a few times. Will definitely be checking out his other albums.
Not a bad album. Never heard anything from these guys before disco.
You know, I know this is a classic album, but it wasn't all that impressive to my ears. It didn't move me much.
Not a bad album. Classic 80s.
Kind of a weird album. I didn't much care for it.
Not a bad album overall. A classic. Most of us 40+ have probably heard these songs a million times in some form.
Classic album. Many of the tracks I've heard a million times over the years. Overall very good album. I really enjoyed it.
Not a bad album but it didn't move me all that much.
This album was pretty decent. Felt like a really intimate show. Great performance.
Wonderful album. I loved it.
I didn't much care for this album.
Much of the first part of the album is a simple beat layered with a repetitive blues/soul vocal sample. It got old fast. The last part of the album is mostly instrumental and is much better (I listened to The Complete Recordings version).
Never really listened to these guys before. I quite liked the album.
Classic 90s album. Never listened to these guys back in the day but it still makes me feel nostalgic. I enjoyed it.
