1001 Albums Summary

Intro: Pra mim, músicas são a forma de arte mais subjetiva de todas. Eu já vi fãs de tudo quanto é gênero criticar outros como "a pior coisa que eu já ouvi na vida". Tudo que eu escrever aqui tem a subjetividade já inclusa. Conhecia Gimme Shelter desse álbum. Uma música excelente. O resto não é ruim, mas não são do tipo de se ouvir repetidamente em uma playlist. Não me incomodaria ouvir elas no ambiente. Mas não escutaria elas em privado.

Muito bom! Deu pra ver claras inspirações de músicas que eu gosto em cima desse artista. Progressão de notas, tonalidade vocal, ou simplesmente ritmo. Fácil de entender porque alguém se inspiraria nele também.

É o gênero que praticamente criou o techno. Mesmo ano de Magic Wand de Whodini inclusive. Algumas músicas excelentes, mas como um álbum é extremamente cansativo. Muitas músicas e não tem variedade o suficiente entre elas.

Álbum de conforto praticamente. Todas as músicas boas, mais ou menos do mesmo estilo sem ser repetitivo. Muito bom.

Album decente. Infelizmente rap tem um problema recorrente de fazer albuns muito compridos sem variação o suficiente dentro dele, deixando tudo enjoativo.

Chato demais. Não é meu tipo de música, mesmo podendo ver que são músicas boas pra quem gosta do gênero.

Até agora, mesmo se eu não gostei das músicas, eu pude entender PORQUE elas estavam aqui. Esse álbum é simplesmente... Esquecível.

Simplesmente caótico. Fácil de se entender porque é uma banda tão conhecida. Algumas músicas são excelentes, outras eu achei bem chatinhas. Mas a variedade é inquestionável.

Honestamente, se você me coloca 10 segundos de cada música e pedisse pra mim identificar, eu não acertaria uma. Tudo soa parecido nesse álbum. Só Layla se salva, e por qualquer motivo esqueceram de separar duas músicas diferentes nela. Então assim: Álbum cheio de música genérica e 3 minutos de uma das melhores músicas que eu já ouvi seguido de 4 minutos de mais do mesmo.

This album feels too much like a rant and not enough like music. Which is fine. Art is art and any medium is acceptable to pass a message. That being said, I'm a simple dude when it comes to music, I just want it to be good. Even if the tone is in protest, bands like RATM or Gabriel O Pensador managed to make songs that are amazing on top of being critiques.

This album feels like the artists were just throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks. I think it had potential, but it desperately need refining. Wail seems to be the most popular, and indeed, it's the only one that has some coherence in melody and lyrics. Others are just... Chaotic.
