The Bends
RadioheadBefore I signed up for this project - "I bet these MF'ers are going to make me listen to Radiohead." Today - "I fucking knew it!" 4 songs in - "Do I like Radiohead???" End of the album - "Well shit."

More blues-y rock than I expected from Creedence Clearwater Revival. Good stuff.
Remarkably short album but it slaps. Almost every song is an iconic Van Halen song that has seen radio play for years. The only song I wasn't familiar with was "On Fire" which is incredibly good.
Influential and ahead of it's time. At times haunting, and ethereal rhythms combined with Lou Reeds harsh real world lyrics (Heroin) and Nico's glass like voice, this album is a banger. Fun fact, Andy Warhol was their manager at the time.
RIP Chris Cornell. One of the OG Grunge defining albums. Killer vocals and heavy bass/drums that don't let up the entire album.
RIP Bon Scott. Legend. Also possibly AC/DC's best album. Yes, I said possibly. I know you're reading this Jeff.
This album meanders from a few love struck songs to one feel good song and then repeats. Not all bad though.

That thumping bass and Chrissie Hynde's vocals. Yes, please. Great album.
Whiny rock
Damn. Who hurt you, Adele?
Is this music? She's just yelling the same thing over and over the whole album.
The tension/fear is abundant in the first track The Wrong Side of Relaxation. Overall, the whole album felt like being in an old Hollywood movie. Especially with the culmination boss fight heavy track The Man with the Golden Arm at the end.
Some really good stuff here. The switch from a 20 minutes long "Do Your Thing" to the "The End Theme" at 2 minutes gave me a little whiplash.
Subpar for Fleetwood Mac. I feel like they haven't matured or evolved beyond where they were 30 years ago and it shows.
Not a huge fan of reggae but part of the reason for doing this project is to expose yourself to new and other music. Surprisingly liked this but doubt I'd put it on very often.
Is he singing or moaning? WTF am I listing to? This is torturous. Gonna rate this shit 1 star
I liked this
I had no idea who Gene Clark was before listening to this. But he reminds me a lot of Townes Van Zandt. Similar vibe/music.
Old school whiskey drinking drown your sorrows type rock. Made me feel like divorcing my wife all over again. And I'm not even married. So naturally, I like it.
Peak millennial vibes here as I jammed out doing laundry.
Well this album kicks ass. 3 stars
Solid.
Does all Def Leppard sound the same? Yes. Yes, it does.
The fuck is this???
Nothing wrong with TayTay
A few bangers. Solid Album.
