Sonic Youth, an American rock band active from 1981 to - During their major label career from 1990 to 1999, Sonic Youth released several influential albums, including "Goo" in 1990, which became their best-selling record, and "Dirty" in
- Their music incorporated elements of alternative rock, with collaborations and influences noted from figures such as Chuck D and Ian MacKaye. They were key tastemakers in the alternative scene, collaborating with Spike Jonze and contributing to cultural phenomena like the Lollapalooza festival and an episode of "The Simpsons." Artistically, they were known for their innovative use of multiple unconventional guitar tunings, using cheap guitars and various objects to create experimental sounds
Not my cup of tea but Zealots is amazing. I don't know if with Ready of Not Enya was mad.
Beautiful album, that's it.
Siouxsie and the Banshees are one of the best bands ever. I loved discovering the bass in Voodoo Dolly and enjoying Spellbound again.
Although it's not my favorite Siouxsie and the Banshees album, it's still particularly good.
It has some very good songs, but it doesn't quite satisfy me completely. "Vicious" and "Walk On the Wild Side" are good. Something's missing for the album as a whole to feel truly wonderful.
It's a good album, but it's not spectacular. There are albums with better songs. Although L.A. Woman is definitely worth checking out.
Wow, I almost didn't finish it. Outer Space and Caramel are the only good ones. The rest made me hate the album. It feels like listening to Rufus Wainwright's grandfather, but with a bigger depression and not nearly as many good melodies. At some point, I liked two other songs. I'm seriously considering unliking it just because it's so annoying to my ears.
An album perfect for a vampiric afternoon. I don't think there was one particular song that stood out to me; however, as a whole it creates a pretty cool atmosphere.
A great album, balanced, with a production of orchestral and classical overtones. Especially Something For The Weekend, Middle Class Heroes and In And Out In Paris And London

It's an excellent album to start the day with, but I don't find a single song truly memorable. Perhaps the first track is impressive, but it didn't strike me as extraordinary.
Spirit was a highly regarded rock band that achieved modest commercial success, charting 11 albums in the U.S. between 1968 and
1977. Founded in Los Angeles in 1967 by musicians who had a mixture of rock, pop, folk, blues, classical, and jazz backgrounds, and who ranged in age from 16 to 44, the group had an eclectic musical style in keeping with the early days of progressive rock; they were as likely to play a folk ballad featuring fingerpicked acoustic guitar, a jazz instrumental full of imaginative improvisation, or a driving rhythm tune dominated by acid rock electric guitar playing.
"Animal Zoo" is probably my favorite. Overall, a good album. "Rougher Road" and "Red Light Roll On" were also good tracks.
I definitely can't handle hardcore
A fantastic acoustic album. Perfect for enjoying in the rain. "Nebraska," "State Trooper," "Open All Night," wow!
This is an excellent album. "That Lady" and "Sunshine (Go Away Today)" are excellent, but the album as a whole is fantastic.
Pretty weird, not my cup of tea. I think ambient music can be better.
A good album, not an excellent album. Nothing to highlight
I don't love Elvis Costello's voice, but I can say that "Busy Bodies"' guitars saved the album.
Too much noise for my taste, although I'll stick with "Sprawl"
I'm going to hell, but I can't stand this man's voice.
Great album to start listening to darker rock. A must-have.
Nothing amazing, although it works to have in the background when you study.
I already liked the song "Threads," but listening to the whole album is overwhelming. After two songs, you just say: enough is enough!
This is a fantastic album. What a great discovery. Isaac Hayes, born in '42, made soul music incredibly sexy. His album Black Moses is also worth checking out. From this album, "Walk On By" and "By The Time I Get to Phoenix" are wow.
Aside from "Road," I don't think this album has anything else to offer. It's fine as background music.
Nothink to remark. A decent Dance album. That's it.
A very fun album, the best is "Groove Is In The Heart"
This guy has good personality but his music doesn't drive me crazy.
Easy listening thing. But not my cup of tea. "Aproaching Pavonis Moons By Balloon" was alright.
Significantly better than the previous of Dylan (Blood On The Tracks). Bringing It All Back Home is much more melodic.
Gloria, Gloria. I mean, this is pure rock n' roll. So. Yes, excellent.
What a fantastic album! It has classics like "In the End." I rediscovered "With You," "Points of Authority," and "Crawling." Definitely one of the best albums in the genre.
This guy.... It's like someone competing in a poetry contest. I can't stand it.
Great album, "Win", "Somebody Up There Likes Me" and "Across the Universe" are great.
Amazing album. A classic. "Run to the Hills" and "The Number of the Beast" alone are more than enough.
A real surprise, a wonderful album. "Nurse" is fantastic.
Not bad, not amazing "The Loved Ones" was good.
To be honest, this was more noise than other thing. Why this is a great album?
"Default" and "Zumm Zumm" were pretty good. It sounds like old alternative and that's nice.
Not a bad album, especially "John Finn's Wife". But not my favourite dark album of those times.
Great album. "Blue Rondo a la Turk", "Strange Meadow Lark", "Take Five", "Pick Up Sticks" are all spectacular.
A very good album that includes hits like "Highway Star", "Maybe I'm a Leo" and the one I don't love after listening to it to death, "Smoke On The Water".
"Koeeoaddi There" is amazing, but by the end of the album I was already fed up with the same thing.
Easy listening, nothing in particular.
Good album for a coffee afternoon
"Gloria", "Birdland" y "Break It Up" are great. Much better than expected.
Quite the Goddess, Astrud. "Canoeiro" and "Não Bate O Coração" are great.
Good to start the week. "Cry to Me" is the best one by far.
"Endless Europe" is amazing, the rest of the album is variations on it.
"We are the Roadcre" is amazing. That's it.
What a magnificent album! "Once Upon a Time", "He's Got Something", "Mockingbird", "My Colouring Book", "Do Re Mi" and "Mama Said" are all amazing.
Nothing memorable but my niece and I saying that this is like people of colour being sexy.
"Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" is amazing. Overall, a good album
A GREAT album. "The Man Who Sold The World" and "All Apologies" are my favorites.
Not my cup of tea. Too... nineties sound.
Nothing memorable. That's almost a one. But it wasn't bad, tho'
One word: Insupportable. There's no melody in melody and the vocals are a guy talking.
There wasn't a song that made me happy enough.
Quite good! "Soul Machine" and "The Art of Noise" were definitely a surprise!
A great album, with iconic songs such as "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Hells Bells", and "Back in Black". My favorite is "Rock an Roll Ain't Noise Pollution".
AMAZING album. "Love Is a Stranger", "I Could Give You", "The Walk" and obviously "Sweet Dreams" are incredible.
A Simple Desultory Philippic has my lastname on it. Four stars automatically.
Very fun album! Rock N' Roll made to dance.
I mean, it's a good album. But as I've said, Bob Dylan is not my favorite.
"Go to sleep"... and nothing more. Pretty standard.
LOVELY, truly amazing. The Big Sky, Cloudbusting, Jig of Life, Running Up That Hill are terrific.
Good album, but I prefer Simon as a solo artist.
A pretty solid album “Even better than the real thing” is quite good
To be Slipknot, it's a good album
"Definitive Gaze", "My Tulpa", and "The Light Pours Out Of Me" are soo great.
I wouldn't say is the best one of Elvis, but nice album for sure!
"Death at One's Elbow" was a surprise but it isn't a groundbreaking album for me.
WHAT A DISCOVERY THIS WAS! The Dolphins, I've Got A Secret, That's The Bag I'm In, Faretheewell, and Green Rocky Road all beautiful
Prince is God. Period. "1999" and "International Lover" were the best ones for me.
A very nice surprise with excellent songs like Take Your Mama, Comfortably Numb, Mary, Lovers in the Backseat, Magnifique, and Rock my Spot
I only liked "The Earth Died Screaming", the rest it was unbearable to me.
To be this genre, it isn't bad. But it's not my genre.
Weird Fishes, Faust Arp, House of Cards, it's an excellent album. From an excellent band.
