I like it as much as I did in 2009. A little too off-kilter/off-beat to be a pleasant listen, but I guess it's a good challenging listen.

better than I thought it would be based on the album cover and first few minutes. like a boppier more upbeat Air.

exactly what I expect from Bruce Springsteen. sounds of a summer road trip.

its' ok, a few bops. The famous song "Alright" is quite different than most of the album.

similar to the sex pistols but with some of the roughest edges sanded off. still bashy, crashy, yelly, but slightly more melodic at times?

very Leonard Cohen-y. good if you're into that down tempo droning stuff I guess.

Funky smooth and cool. What more could you ask for? Maybe some politics and advocacy? You got it.

the radio hit songs were annoying as they have been so overplayed, but the deeper cuts were better than I thought they would be. solid 3.5-4

very very different than I had thought it would be. in the 90s I only read the name and thought they would be industrial/hardcore, but nope, not at all.

like a close cousin of queen's more rocking songs, but without the vocal dexterity or cool harmonies

an awful lot of blues guitar, if that's your thing. otherwise ok, nothing standout spectacular.

christ, that album went on for-ever.

delightful, as always. A trip from upbeat and wacky to downtempo and moody.

good, rich, nuanced, varied. why we fell in love with Arcade Fire in the first place and before the ick of knowing about Win's behaviour overshadowed the beautiful music.
