Ok for background music. Liked Three Hours and Man in a Shed best.
Love me some Queen, but the album all at once is a lot. It’s so chaotic. Liked the Ogre song at first but eventually it’s like what’s happening? I liked Fairy Feller and Nevermore and the back half of the album more.
Don’t always love the tone of his voice but some good instruments. Liked Pusherman and No Thing On Me the best.
At times it sounded the same and the songs blended into one another, but then there’d be something different to mix it up and grab your attention. Overall, good listening that’s enjoyable. Like Next Girl and Tighten Up.
Enjoyable throughout, though the slower song or two stuck out and weren’t as good. Liked almost every song.
Overall, high energy good sound, but found the vocals grating on several songs and a few became too monotonous with the lyrics. Faves were Look at Last Night and GB to Jane.
So many hits! Aside from the 4 tracks I knew and liked (1,2,10,11) my faves were Nothing and Don’t You Know. Coloring Book was a real low point in the album.
Eh, it was fine but not really for me. The songs blended into one another. Wake Up and Rebellion were my faves among them.
Liked it overall. Fun sounds, easy listen. Faves were Jet and Mrs. V.
As a whole, this was an interesting listen. Each song changed so much in sound it was hard to delineate what was what to pick faves, but that kept it interesting. I preferred the heavier drum and bass tracks I could imagine at a club over her vocals and the softer, new age, jazzier tunes.
Liked St Angel and Sense of Rage.
Mixed feelings, liked a bunch but too many that were meh. Faves were Never Said Nothing, mesmerizing, F and Run.
Not for me. Oh baby, change yr mind, and Tonite were the only ones I somewhat enjoyed.
Solid throughout. Faves were footprints and Public Enemy. Ham and Eggs had me smiling.
Enjoyed listening. Found the three singles the most enjoyable. Preferred the heavier rock sounds to the more mellow.
Surprised to enjoy it as much as I did. Easy to get through. Liked Hotel Yorba and Now Mary the best.
Started very slow and melodic but liked it more as the tempo picked up a few songs in. Then a bit too slow toward the end until the last song which was better.
Some clever and fun lyrics like on Marz and Chicken Bones. S Weaver and Silver Plater were my faves.
Chill throughout. Love the harmonica parts. Fave is Come Pick Me Up.
Really enjoyed listening to this while driving around. High energy, fun beats. Liked Build it Up, Kalifornia, Love Island, Acid.
Found it difficult to listen to her voice straight through the album, but individually enjoy the songs. Celebrity Skin by far my fave song, followed by Boys on the Radio. Several songs the lyrics were annoyingly repetitive.
Mostly enjoyable. Liked CA Dreamin and Somebody Groovy best.
Not for me. I want her and friends of mine were better than the others.
I liked this. Enjoyed the whole album. Liked the Magic Number and Eye Know the best.
Solid overall. Mostly enjoyed. Songs blurred together a bit, no standouts but liked Mystery Achievement and Brass in Pocket the best.
Enjoyed this. Liked the instruments and different sounds. Move Over and Bobby M were my faves.
Pleasantly surprised to enjoy this all the way through. No standout faves.
Not the sound for me. Preferred the instrumentals Split Myself, Aurora, and Mindless Idiot.
A little too funky for my liking. Several songs were very difficult to get through. If we’re picking faves…. A Minha Menina or Senhor F.
Solid overall. The couple super slow songs downgraded my rating. Faves were America, Winter, and Zoo.
Too out there. Dreamy at times, funky loud at times, what is it trying to be? Big Time Sensuality was the fave for its dance vibe.
Overall it was too loud and too much noise. The songs on their own may have been ok, but too much all at once. Sunglasses and Cramped were the best. Honorable mention to Mad Dad for comic relief.
Prefer the funky to the slow and sleepy ones. Faves were Haven’t Done Nothin’ and Boogie.
Great vibes. At the first song I was ready to give it a 5. That song was the best though, with the rest of the album a little less fun. Favorites were Marcus Garvey and Jordan River.
Liked The Clap the best, it was a fun lil diddy. Overall, enjoyed more than expected.
Enjoyed this throughout. Like his voice a lot. Faves were Caravan, Crazy Love, and Come Running. Also Glad tidings - the good ones kept coming!
Not really my thing but it was ok. Flowers and Beads was my fave.
Too slow and not interesting until the Murder Mystery.
Ok overall. No stand out favorites except Karma C.
Down Yonder was fun, but overall a little too slow. His voice is a classic, but meh.
Overall I like the vibe. A few songs were pretty fun. Liked Barrytown and With a Gun.
Most of the songs were fine but no real standouts.
Jazz isn’t my fave but overall it was fun and interesting. Prefer the more lively, but could all be background music for a classy glass of wine on the deck. crescendo in blue a fave.
An understated angst. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would especially with the slow start. Obvi like Nothing Compares. Liked the instruments at the end of stretched on your grave.
Enjoyed it as a whole. Interesting sounds and lyrics throughout, often very different within one song. Love I. Also liked King Kunta and Momma, Blacker the Berry (Marcus Garvey reference FTW).
Not my fave Bruce songs but can appreciate it. The storytelling felt long at times. Love all the harmonica. Liked Atlantic City best.
His voice is too annoying all at once. Lovesong was the fave. Lullaby was at least different sounding with its whispery 2000s type angst.
Not my fave. Was hoping to recognize some songs. Liked Raised on Robbery the best bc it was most fun and upbeat.
Not offensive, but not for me. No standouts.
Mostly good vibes; a little too funky at times. Liked Punk and Rock the House.
Songs are fun though long. Liked the ones I knew the best and also All the Critics.
Preferred the harder rock songs. Liked Ball and Biscuit and Hardest Button best.
Fun throughout; high energy. In addition to the ones I knew, liked Brownstone, Out to Get Me, and Think About You.
Not sure what to make of this one. Felt he was yelling at me at times, other times it was more enjoyable. No stand outs, overall ok.
Very fun. Love the instruments and the call and response with the crowd. High energy throughout. No favorites, liked how it all pieced together. 5
Enjoyed but not my faves. Liked Monkey Man and the ones I knew.
Really liked the two openers. Overall love the sound and energy. Most enjoyable at high volume; are they touring together soon?
A touch aggressive for a 6am walk but did enjoy it. Fave was Caught in a Mosh. Want to revisit in the car when angry.
Enjoyed it overall. Liked When Will They Shoot and Check Yo Self best.
Liked it overall; guitar got heavy at times. And some songs carried on too long. Liked Disposable Heroes and Orion and the instrumental interlude builds in Battery and MoP.
Not for me, but can appreciate a lot of the music, like the instruments on tracks 4,5,7.
A little too funky with grinding vocals at times but fun overall. Liked Lava and Lobster best.
It was different, I enjoyed it. Faves were Endless and Franz.
It was ok but nothing exciting. Faves were Allison and All Over the World.
Enjoyed it overall, but didn’t like it as much as I wanted to. Liked Da Mystery and Ruckus the best.
Fun and funky most of the time. An interesting listen. Liked Safe from Harm best.
Fine overall but the songs blended together bc they sounded so similar. Kept thinking it was a song I knew until I got to Cars and realized that was it. Liked Films and Tracks.
Enjoyed a lot of the instruments and sounds but found his voice overly somber and melancholy at times. Liked Pursuit of Happiness best.
Found it a bit boring all at once; might enjoy the songs more on their own. Liked On Your Own.
Enjoyed it; eclectic sound kept it interesting (though cohesive?). A few songs that were new to me. Eleanor Rigby my fave.
Pretty music throughout. Liked Ragged Wood and Your Protector.
It was ok. Liked Turtle Blues and Piece of My Heart best.
Enjoyable, but realized I’d be annoyed if it were hold music. Liked Birdland and Juggler best.
Enjoyed this one. Fun storytelling and music throughout. Liked a lot of the songs including Supposed to be Easy and Such a T.
Good listen. No new faves; Nightswimming ftw.
It’d be more interesting if each song didn’t carry on for quite so long. Nonetheless, it’s a fine listen. Liked Neon Lights and Man Machine.
It was fine. No standouts but liked Us and Them.
Only knew Walk of Life and had a different idea of what they were like. Instruments were pretty throughout; enjoyed the different sounds. It was ok overall. Liked Why Worry and Money for Nothing.
This one made me smile. Hadn’t listened in years but still remembered it all.
