1001 Albums Summary

Well I managed to live thru listening to this album…I have never enjoyed Rush and unlike some things my taste hasn’t changed…only Tom Sawyer is worth a listen . I know this is horrible for a Canadian to say but …YUK

Great album, timeless tunes, really enjoy her music. Respect is a favourite of course., I never loved a man,, Soul serenade, baby, baby, baby...Do right Woman, Do right man and a change is gonna come.... this is a great listen

Wow..first listen. Perfect for the end of the day. Very intimate feels like you’re there in the room with them the music in the air …beautiful !!

Love a bit of Reggae, this album was new to me. I guess Ive listened to a lot of best of...so this album didn't hit s much as I was expecting... that's my theory. some fav's Stir it up, Kinky Reggae, All day All night and Midnight Ravers

Another one on the list that I’m not big on Stevie Wonder …I listen to the album and I can say now that I’m more accepting that before. Enjoyed some of the popular songs .

Love me some Muddy Waters! How could you not.

Another new one for me... never heard of AMC, guess I wasn't depressed enough. This album has a place and time.. I can listen to his voice and the music its very easy to listen to.

What can you say .. its Elvis! great album. I did a little research on this one and didnt realize this was another one of the turning points for him... for such a 50's rocker it sure showed he could bring his talent to a new era.

I enjoyed this ..I’m not a hardcore fan but liked this genre in the day. Hurt is a great tune made even more special by the man in black. Honourable mentions to piggy, March of pigs, closer and I do not want this.

Enjoyed this album...need to relisten to it and explore more in this vein.

Some good songs but some not so good stuff, overall a little fun but not a regular listen

Was unfamiliar with this album but enjoy Dylan..I think there are better albums but understand possibly how this made the list much like Elvis from Memphis a demonstration of his talent as he was becoming less relevant . I listened to this album twice and I like it will be played again …

meh... nothing of real value to listen to here...don't hate it but ain't making it to my playlist.

Enjoyable listen...not my regular vibe. I liked listening to it at work... perhaps it will work its way on to my playlist.

Ok so this was a slog at times…and at others it peaked my curiosity. I can’t say I won’t be back but not sure I’m up for another listen anytime soon.

Surprising find, I enjoyed this album this morning particularly like the vocals of Beth Hirsch going to her a listen. Will dive a little deeper into Air as well.

Been a while since I spun some Kate Bush…I still like it but it’s just not hitting like it used to…mood has a big effect on listening . This would have been a solid 3-3.5 before

Different but enjoyed it really liked “storm” not my usual listen but the more I listen the more I like this one

What a struggle…worse than listening to Rush..if it wasn’t for Ella’s beautiful voice I would have stopped with the first song…my god 3h and 15mins of these songs…words escape me.

This was unexpected ..really enjoyed this! It will get on to the list. Even the 16 min drum solo…cool stuff.

Early MM was the best..this is a fun album. I haven’t listened to MM for a while, happy to get reaquainted.Not strong enough for a 4 but deserves more than a 3…

Never liked Anthrax..my first full album listen. I gave it a try and I hope this is the last time. I can say I liked some of the music but the vocals SUCK
