1001 Albums Summary

Have listened twice before. Loved it on first listen.

Haven’t listened to this since university. Under the Bridge is a classic. Curious to see how the rest holds up. Hit after hit. I find his voice grating, but you can't deny this is the album to go to if you want this specific vibe. In spite of long run time, feels short.

Hadn’t heard of this album going in, entering with a free mind. Enjoyed the cover of House of the Rising Sun and Naughty Flea song. Overall pleasant album to build things to on a sunny day.

Haven’t heard of this before. Intrigued by the mermaid (merMAN?) on the cover. Overall really enjoyed this one, it surprised me! If you think you could go for a late-night 70s, psychedelic-yacht rock album then this is one worth spending time with. Four stars only because I found Big Muff awkward in the middle.

Went into this feeling like Common is corny and came out the other side feeling like Common is corny. That being said, top notch production and a good vibe!

Going in knowing I already love at least two of the songs on this one. This album is a good time. Very 60s in all the best ways. Each song is unique enough to go back to.

I’ve already listened to this three times in the past couple months. It gets pretty repetitive at times but good garage rock vibe to it.

At it’s best it’s a lot of fun, but unfortunately it’s best only lasts a few songs
