Vauxhall And I by Morrissey

I thought for a moment that this got really good, but then I realized that Apple Music automatically started playing music after the album ended and it while it was probably obvious that the Cranberries aren't Morrissey, it was just so nice to hear a good song after listening to this.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Apr 03 2026

Better than I expected. Not a huge oasis fan, but I had never listened to an entire album of theirs before. Listening to Shakermaker felt like unlocking a core memory. It must have played on the radio when I was growing up as it conjured up memories of long road trips with the family. The album helps explain the hype of Oasis to me, as I think having only heard the hits I didn't really get it. Favorite Track: Shakermaker

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 04 2026

This is my first time listening to S&G intentionally. I've avoided them for many years due to the only song of there's that anyone ever plays being sad and over played. The album as a whole is interesting. I wasn't prepared for the range of sounds. Since all I knew was 'Sounds of Silence', it felt like a nice reprieve to hear something else from them. Favorite Track: Keep the Customer Satisfied

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Apr 05 2026

It's been a minute since I listened to the album front to back, but it still slaps. Alanis really front loaded the bangers, but it's still a great listen. Favorite Track: All I Really Want

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Apr 06 2026

I don't really have a lot of say on this one. It's a good album, but I'm not sure if it hits for me. It may need another listen down the road for it to truly sink in. Favorite Track: The Chain

1999 by Prince
Apr 07 2026

It's not as good as batman, but what is? Favorite Track: D.M.S.R.

Odessa by Bee Gees
Apr 08 2026

Bad. Somehow worse than their disco, which I didn't think was possible.

Cupid & Psyche 85 by Scritti Politti
Apr 09 2026

Even though I listened to the entire album, it felt like I didn't. Nothing stuck out to me that wasn't already done by every other 80's artist.

The Boatman's Call by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Apr 10 2026

He looks like one of the bad guys from The Goonies. Listening to this is like an exercise in trying to stay awake while being read the most intensely boring bedtime story you've ever had to endure.

Play by Moby
Apr 11 2026

You know, this album surprisingly holds up. I remember owning it as a kid, and I was thinking it wasn't going to be the same, but turns out making techno songs using blues samples does work. Favorite Track: Honey

Electric by The Cult
Apr 12 2026

Danzig vocals over AC/DC beats?

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Apr 13 2026

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Favorite Track: Highway 61 This song sounds like it could easily be a They Might Be Giants song.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Apr 14 2026

There is some funky bass on this album. Why isn't all their stuff like this? Favorite Track: The Ledge

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Apr 16 2026

Eh, overrated. I think at the time when this came out it was novel, but now listening to Damon Albarn is tough as he just sounds so melancholy and boring. Favorite Track: 19-2000

Roots by Sepultura
Apr 17 2026

Good stuff, tribal metal sound Not sure if I had a favorite track but the whole album was consistent and awesome.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Apr 18 2026

British - Check Rock - Check Nonsesne Lyrics - Check Yep not sure what these bands are up to, but I wish they had something to say. I feel like this is the fallout of the beatles on music.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Apr 20 2026

I thought these guys only had one song, and that it was 'My Girl'. To hear otherwise is, to put it bluntly, earth-shattering. Favorite Track: Cloud Nine

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Apr 21 2026

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this since his Sister-Wife wasn't on the album, afaik. But it does feel like the logical extension of the white stripes. Favorite Track: Freedom At 21

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Apr 23 2026

Confusing looking at this album on Apple Music as it shows that the artist is a classical artist, but then you play the album and it's Mambo.

Suede by Suede
Apr 24 2026

Meh

Garbage by Garbage
Apr 25 2026

One of those albums that just feels like the 90s in music form, like Portishead but pop?

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Apr 26 2026

Perfect album

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Apr 27 2026

The theme from the exorcist was bad enough, but to find out there is an entire album.. rough

Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt
Apr 29 2026

Mad boring prog rock nonsense

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Apr 30 2026

Some underground shit, if you consider yourself a metal head and you haven't listened to this then you are a poser. Go back to wearing your attitude era wresting shirts. Loser.

Closer by Joy Division
May 01 2026

First song was pretty good, then it goes down hill from there. I don't really see all the hype.

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
May 02 2026

Remember when the Brady Bunch went to Hawaii and Bobby found an evil idol? What a crazy thing to happen. Greg crashes surfing, Bobby almost killed by a painting, and Peter is nearly bitten by a spider. Then Bobby gets rid of the thing only for Jan to bring it back. Then the crazed archaeologist tries to kill them. After that they have a big party, but like the crazy part was that the trip was all expenses paid, and they even brought their maid. That had to cost a small fortune.

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
May 04 2026

I've tried listening to this album 3-4 times now, and each time it just leaves absolutely no impression on me. The synths are just so vague and boring. Feels like everything is just a Casio keyboard playing it's built in song demos.

May 05 2026

Yeah, I was in middle school too, like any one else. But with 20 years to reflect I can confidently say this album sucks shit. The whole reason I listened to Nirvana was for the hard rock noise that would soon become the staple of classic rock stations. Not for folky cover songs.

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
May 06 2026

What if Bob Dylan spoke like a normal person?

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
May 07 2026

Some of the very best that Riot Grrrl has to offer.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
May 11 2026

The album peaks at 'Gimme Shelter', then it has a bunch of nonsense before it gets to another decent song 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'

Odelay by Beck
May 12 2026

Apple music has a note about the album that says a producer said not to release the album, and you know what? That producer was right, and the fact that Beck has a career at all is shocking. Doesn't even have loser on the album so what is the point?

Like A Prayer by Madonna
May 14 2026

Like a Prayer still slaps, great song.

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
May 15 2026

What if Bob Dylan and Lenord whoever, but girl?

Either Or by Elliott Smith
May 16 2026

Why does it feel like they are recorded doing a whisper yell for all the songs. Sounds absolutely terrible.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
May 17 2026

I'm, just so tired

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
May 18 2026

Who listened to this and thought, everyone has got to listen to this before they die?

Abbey Road by Beatles
May 20 2026

weird, some interesting bits here and there, but that's about it.

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
May 21 2026

It's ok.

In It For The Money by Supergrass
May 22 2026

If I wanted to listen to the smashing pumpkins or the presidents of the united states of america, I would listen to them. Not this faux version

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
May 23 2026

There is clearly a genre that the author of this list enjoys, and he's made it abundantly clear that everyone needs to listen to this crap.

California by American Music Club
May 24 2026

The first track sounds a lot like a stardew valley song. So that's werid. Most of these songs feel the song that plays at the beginning of a sappy movie. Like here are the good moments of these peoples lives, cut aways of people doing things. Then as the opening credits are wrapping up, the music fades, and a character put a thing down and says, 'boy howdy being a person is hard work, time to throw my life into a blender so that I find the right person' Western Sky or Somewhere would likely work best, but laughing stock or really any song besides Bad Liquor or Jenny would work.

Vauxhall And I by Morrissey
May 25 2026

I thought for a moment that this got really good, but then I realized that Apple Music automatically started playing music after the album ended and it while it was probably obvious that the Cranberries aren't Morrissey, it was just so nice to hear a good song after listening to this.

NEU! 75 by Neu!
May 27 2026

I'm not sure what to make of this album, some of it is good, some of it is bad. It's all over the place.

Elephant by The White Stripes
May 30 2026
Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jun 02 2026

I normally don't really mind Jimi, but this album kind of blows. Just a real boring sound.

Rhythm Nation 1814 by Janet Jackson
Jun 05 2026

Much better than the stuff her brother Michael was up to.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Jun 06 2026

Not my favorite outlaw country, but it's not the worst either. He's no Mojo Nixon.

Dust by Screaming Trees
Jun 07 2026

More of the same

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Jun 08 2026

5 stars for being short, but music is closer to 2.

Headquarters by The Monkees
Jun 11 2026

Beatles but good? Favorite Track: Randy Scouse Git

Leftism by Leftfield
Jun 12 2026

Favorite Track: Open Up

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Jun 13 2026

Having only listened to the song creep, I felt like I knew what I was getting into with this one, basically more of the same stuff that's made up this list so far. Alt Rock nonsense was my expectation. Instead, this album is experiential as heck. I'm not quite sure if I like it, but it does some interesting things. I guess the most surprising is hearing sounds they recorded in 2000/2001 that just sound like 2010s soundcloud or even more modern hyperpop. Do I like it? Not particularly, but I can see why this may have made the list. Favorite Track: I might be wrong

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jun 14 2026

What is that? A bossa nova beat?

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Jun 15 2026

The music isn't for me, but he dunks on nazi's so he's cool in my book.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Jun 16 2026

Starts strong and sags a bit by the end.

OK by Talvin Singh
Jun 18 2026

Better than OK, I would say it's pretty good. Favorite Track: Soni

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Jun 19 2026

Brit rock with a more punk sound. Favorite Track: Alright or Sofa

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jun 20 2026
Debut by Björk
Jun 22 2026
Opus Dei by Laibach
Jun 24 2026

Why does the great seal sound like Chariots of Fire? The end of this album is bizarre in a bad way.

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jun 25 2026

Hard to believe maps is the single from this album, when every other song is better in everyway

In Utero by Nirvana
Jun 27 2026

As far as grunge music goes, this one is pretty weak. Surely there has to be better more important albums than this?

Jun 28 2026

Growing up, I never understood why there were only greatest hits Queen CDs. Today I came to a profound understanding that Queen had no idea what they were doing, and the hits they created were among many songs they just threw against the wall. Heck, on this album alone, there were only 2 songs I even recognized.

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Jun 30 2026

Basically a perfect album, I don't really care for the skits, but hey, you get some pretty darn good music outside of that.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jul 01 2026

Favorite Track: Hey You

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Jul 03 2026

Crazy that the opening track is an origin sample for one of my favorite beastie boys songs.

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Jul 04 2026

While album is great, it's sadly not the best version. That belongs to Angélique Kidjo who took the album to a new height by diving into the roots of the music.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jul 05 2026

Just some classic Fela.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 08 2026
Skylarking by XTC
Jul 09 2026

I like XTC, but somehow this album doesn't slap like their older stuff. A shame really. This album was kinda weird, and maybe in needs a second listen, but still not their best work.

Hotel California by Eagles
Jul 12 2026

I mean, it has hotel california, but the rest is meh.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jul 13 2026

Good Lord, people like the sounds of a dying cat???

The Doors by The Doors
Jul 14 2026

I must have listened to this album a lot, but totally forgot somewhere along the way. It sounds like if the Misfits didn't sing about horror cliques.

Legalize It by Peter Tosh
