crazy debut but i only really liked the ones that were the most popular lol. however made me very impatient for summer to start soon

mannish boy is an awesome way to start an album. maybe if i was more musically proficient i could appreciate the longer instrumental breaks a bit. little girl was expectedly a little bit creepy lmaoo.

funn!!!!! very raw and of its time. think i would like it more if i could skateboard

my dad's mom was a hippie and said he grew up on the mamas and the papas so i was a little distracted imagining him listening to this as a kid. harmonies are awesome and very consistently good throughout.

weirdly only really feels like 4 songs on here. very long except!!!! when it isn't!!! it's fine

not my favorite radiohead album if im being real.

instrumentals are awesome but man that shaky new wave voice only works for me sometimes. i would be getting really into it until he started singing lmaooo. really liked shadowplay.

surprisingly random. lots of songs but they go by so quickly. doesn't seem to have a theme and feels more like a compliation. its fine.

very folky and then some song hit you with a very produced electronic vibe. sometimes works well. its something that feels like my mom would play in the car when i was little, and because of that im inclined to like it.

expected the most popular to track to actually be interesting and was disappointed. pretty forgettable

so many sitcoms have some sort of bono joke so for the longest time i did not think that u2 would be any good. jokes on me because i really did enjoy this.

i dont really think im a britpop girl but i did end up liking this one a bit. some songs veered into ska and i felt like that was a little random but otherwise it was okay!! much prefer damon albarn in gorillaz however

not what i expected from this scary ass album cover but it is what i expected from the beach boys. beautiful harmonies as always

MOTHER POLLY JEANNNN. was so psyched to see this one on here. her most patti smith album. was the first one i ever listened to that my mom recommended. love every song in this one.

wowww. has a concept and themes that really make it feel like a body of work. however not exactly my taste unfortunately. objectively stellar but not something i would return to.

this kinda 80s rock is just not interesting to me at all.

very house! i think environment matters when listening to this. would be much more fun in a club and not sitting in my bed listening off of my laptop.

was very scared this was going to be boring dad rock but im shocked i fuck with it heavy. definitely keeps you attention the whole time and cohesive doesnt feel like its dragging ever damn!!!

wow!!! way funkier than i imagined. i get a little nervous when i see a song over 6 minutes but happy to say it never dragged. really enjoyed this.

wanted to like it more considering the guy looks like dr. teeth from the muppets, but this was a surprisingly a little dull. found myself like the background singers much more enjoyable to listen to. this is his debut so maybe he gets a little more experimental like how i imagined he would.

the irish are spiritually appalachian in my opinion. creating irish folk punk feels like an oxymoron considering how those genres just go hand in hand (if your actually doing it right). enjoyed his voice much more than i thought i would.

im a madonna worshiper SORRYYY. my worst sin is thinking that her american pie cover is actually pretty great. although not my favorite madonna work however and i totally get how this would be jarring following her magnum opus ray of light but damn it this is amazing as well!!! and if this website made any sense all her albums from her self titled to confessions would be on here.

somehow don't think ive listened to a full talking heads album besides stop making sense. think i was waiting for the background girls to come in and start singing and didn't get enough of that. overall very solid and i loved found a job!!

voice is VERY grating lol my favorite song was the one where its a different person singing. idk i didnt think any of them had a good effective build for me. very of its time. its competent enough but would not return to this.

very movie soundtrack, which makes sense because they then went on to make the virgin suicides soundtrack. very cool however i would only return to a few of the standouts like sexy boy

sorry to say because this is the Dad Rock WebsiteTM but ac/dc, metalica and all of those are completely indistinguishable to me. a lot of the songs sound the same and while i guess theyre technically impressive they do not interest me in the slightest

really enjoy when led zeppelin pulls away from their led zeppelinisms. ex. down by the seaside - being my favorite from here liked this more than their debut but im not drawn to their grandness i guess

think i might like sonic youth songs much more that sonic youth albums. or maybe there aren't any great songs on this. makes sense i was unaware of this one.

the pitched up parts are very minion of them but fr very ahead of its time, sound veryyyy 2000s despite being a decade early, had no idea the song Alright was from the 90s

gotta admit i have a hard time getting past the misogyny here #woke! but the instrumentals are very good
