Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
May 15 2026

Some songs I'd never heard before, and the ones I had are absolute classics. A particular favourite track I hadn't heard before was 'Bitch'.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
May 16 2026

Not someone I'd heard of before but a lot of fun. I'll definitely listen to this one again,

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
May 17 2026

Helplessly hoping made me cry. Overall I probably won't listen to it again, but I enjoyed it. 3 stars.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
May 18 2026

Wasn't for me. Really liked a couple but kept zoning out.

Absolute banger of an album. So funky and fun. Suffragette city was a particular favourite. A couple of skips though and I didn't like rock n roll suicide and when you don't like the opening or closing track of an album it really lets it down

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
May 20 2026

Not someone I had heard of before, but really was a piece of me. Not going to give higher than 4 stars as there's no song on the album that sticks out to me at all, but I really enjoyed the whole vibe of the album. Actually now that I've finished it I really liked insect eyes and autumn's child. A strong finish and opening for the album as a whole. Still giving a 4.

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
May 21 2026

3/5. Would have been a 4 but I HATED Saving All My Love For You. Literal 0/10 song.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
May 23 2026

What an album. A thumping journey from start to finish. No skips. 5 star!

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
May 24 2026

Couple of good tracks, but on the whole fairly unremarkable for me

Sulk by The Associates
May 25 2026
Either Or by Elliott Smith
May 26 2026

Good god this album is brilliant. First time I've heard Elliott Smith and I'm going to do his entire discography now.

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
May 28 2026

Just an effortlessly cool album. A lot of fun to listen to, but not as good as some of their other ones.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
May 29 2026

Such a fun and nostalgic album. Although my favourite track is actually a remix of heads will roll!

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
May 30 2026
Ctrl by SZA
Jun 01 2026

A middle of the road RnB album. Started stronger than it turned out, which is okay. These things happen. I particularly liked the track with Kendrick Lamar though. Nothing else really sticks out to me thinking back on it. I'll probably delete it from my server in the future.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Jun 02 2026

Some absolute bangers on this album. I’ve never listened to it front to back but I do love me some Hip Hop. territory as well. This music in this one is a straight 5/5 for me, but the skits were so shitty and dated (I especially hated the one where he's getting head) that I have to rate it a 4.

Play by Moby
Jun 03 2026

Just not for me. Found myself getting bored. Some really good tracks on here but the collection as a whole just not something I enjoy.

New Wave by The Auteurs
Jun 04 2026

No. Remove this please. Awful.

Honky Tonk Heroes by Waylon Jennings
Jun 05 2026

Enjoyable album. Not one I’d heard of before, but I do enjoy some Country music from time to time. Not something I’ll listen to again, but I can appreciate its cultural significance

Document by R.E.M.
Jun 06 2026

What a great album. I don't know what genre I'd put R.E.M. into, they're just one of those bands that are so distinctive. I loved this album. So many tracks I'd never heard, but my two favourite REM tracks were on this album (It's the End of the World as We Know it and The One I Love).

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Jun 07 2026

I'm not gonna lie, I zoned out listening to this one. Enjoyable enough though. May need a relisten some other time!

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jun 09 2026

I adore this album. I think summer is the wrong season for it though. It always makes me want it to be cold outside and warm inside, lights low, dark out, book on the go with some kind of hot drink. Just classic Jazz. I really do think this album is without peer in the genre.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Jun 11 2026

Really enjoyed this when I didn't expect to. Will listen to more.

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Jun 12 2026

Surprised by this one. I might give some more Fever Ray a go. Was quite enjoyable.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Jun 13 2026

A good album. Really good. T. Rex are such a good time really. I always massively enjoy listening to them. Marc Bolan has such a lovely, distinctive voice. Their music is so gay as well. It's great.

Revolver by Beatles
Jun 15 2026

I think I'll just end up giving a 5 to every Beatles album. They're just so good.

Dust by Screaming Trees
Jun 21 2026

A really great album by a band I had never heard of before. I would definitely listen to more by them. This is why I love this exercise.

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Jun 22 2026

Supergrass are a band that weren't even on my radar until this and I've really enjoyed both the albums that I've listened to so far. Maybe I'll listen to some more in my own time. Who knows.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Jun 23 2026

Surprisingly enjoyable and some absolute classics on here. She's Always a Woman was a particular highlight.

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Jun 24 2026

Some good songs that even went onto mynplaylisr, but in the end the album didn't really stand out to me.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Jun 25 2026

I was really disappointed with this one. Kind of Blue is one of my favourites of all time, so I was really excited for this. I just found it kind of boring to be honest.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jun 26 2026

The good ones on this album are amazing. Wasn't a fan of the extended jam session style tracks, and I got a little bored at times. Still a great album with some absolute classics.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Jun 27 2026

It's a 3.5 for me, because I know I enjoyed my time with the album, but I don't really remember any of the songs.

Who's Next by The Who
Jun 28 2026

Maybe the easiest 5 I've given. What a great album. Every track is just so effortlessly cool. And Baba O Riley might be one of the best songs ever written. What an album.

Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys
Jun 29 2026

Honestly I was a little distracted. Will probably need to listen again. I really liked what I paid attention to though, so it gets a 4.

Stankonia by OutKast
Jun 30 2026

Really great Hip Hop album. The first third in particular is just so good. Really enjoyed this one.

Violator by Depeche Mode
Jul 01 2026

On a different day, this album may have gotten a 5. Really great album. Sweetest Perfection is a banger I'd never heard before I'd listened to this album. So well produced as well. Will definitely listen to more Depeche Mode.

Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout
Jul 03 2026

Not much to say here. It was fun whilst I was listening to it.

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Jul 04 2026

Really enjoyed this one. She has a lovely voice and Lovefool is obviously an absolute classic.

Jul 05 2026

Freedom 90 is obviously a brilliant track, and I enjoyed most of the album. I thought some of the songs were a bit too long, and I wanted more of it to be a bit more upbeat. Overall enjoyable though.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Jul 08 2026

Super cool album. I really enjoyed this. So much energy in this one.

evermore by Taylor Swift
Jul 09 2026

I actually quite liked 3 of the songs. The rest were not for me at all.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jul 10 2026

I really didn't like the first half of this album, but I loved the second half. Difficult one to rate. Got a 3.5 but I decided to round up.

Abraxas by Santana
Jul 14 2026

Really cool album, particularly the first half

Jul 16 2026

A really interesting album, and definitely something I wouldn’t have listened to without the project. Super cool.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Jul 20 2026

A few songs were 10 out of 10, but some of them I didn’t get on with at all. Split the difference.

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Jul 21 2026

Brilliant album. BB King is one of those artists I’ve never done a deep dive on, but this live album had so much energy.

Shleep by Robert Wyatt
Jul 22 2026

Pretty shit. I didn’t hate 2 tracks so It avoids a 1.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Jul 23 2026

Literally my childhood. Such a good album, but unfortunately I think the back half falls off a lot compared to the front.

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Jul 24 2026
american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Jul 27 2026

Really good album. Not a band I’ve dealt with a lot but I absolutely loved this.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Jul 28 2026

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Still bad though.

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Jul 30 2026
Aja by Steely Dan

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
