1001 Albums Summary

This makes me incredibly interested to see what the next 1000 albums are gonna be. Always had an appreciation for Winehouse, and this only gives me a greater appreciation for her. Such a soulful ass voice.

As a general rule the ambient sections were killer and the upbeat sections were.. not my cup of tea. Definitely a middle of the road album for me, not one I'll be going to again save a few songs, but not an offensive album to my ears by any stretch.

Miles from Nowhere is immediately going into the Playlist. Didn't resonate too strongly with me otherwise but that's purely opinion. Decent album.

This is definitely good musically but the vocal delivery bothers me and most of the songs don't catch me quite enough to make up for it. Definitely not one I'll be going back to any time soon.

Such a beautiful album. She Talks to Angels will always be one of my favorites of all time.

Nothing on this album really grabs me but I don't hate any of it either. Will probably come back to it at another time when I'm looking for something different than my every day stuff.

This is incredible. Once I got used to the vocals and 80s sound, I was absolutely rocking. Not one that I probably ever would have even thought to try based on my current preferences, but unbelievably glad I did. I could see myself revisiting certain moments on this album very regularly. Hoping this might be a gateway into me appreciating a different style of music.

A cool album for sure. Think it would resonate strongly with me if it was in English but that's only because trying to decipher lyrics is a huge part of my listening experience. Musically though, a very good time and completely inoffensive.

Always loved this one. Sultans of Swing is one of my all time favorites.

I Can appreciate this album as being good for what it is but also have a hard time listening to it for very long. Just not my preferred style of music.

This might be an album I should come back to when I feel like hearing something with that classic 80s sound. It's the only thing that is keeping me from really loving it and that's probably only because that's not where my head is right now.

Ice T is a GOAT. His rapping is so hard-core, raw, and badass, and his metal shit is also top notch.

I'm convinced Zappa's brain must've naturally produced too much DMT or something. He didn't need to use them to get it. For someone who not only didn't use, but despised psychedelic drugs and its entire culture, he truly made some of the greatest psychedelic music this world has ever seen, and this unique work is absolutely no exception. "What's there to live foooorr"

Not even gonna listen to this today because not only do I know every song, but I have heard them all so many times I'm about tired of them. Undeniably an incredible and jamming album nonetheless.
