1001 Albums Summary

Metal. A couple songs decent. Same eerie sound throughout.

Did not like the vocals. Guitar riffs were very technical at times. Otherwise would have rated it a 1 or 2. I’m not a fan of punk rock or metal. Find these a bit noisy and angry. Very annoying to me.

Rated it 4 because I like it better than the metal and punk rock music

I found album a bit boring. Was making me sleepy.

I would rate it 3.8. Like this album better than the groups that play hard metal music.

A fan of Michael Jackson. I like his Thriller Album better than “Bad.”

Same constant drum beat in most songs. Screaming voice. Made me uptight. Glad to be over with this album!!!

Too much screaming in songs. I like his softer songs. Sounds a lot like cars crashing especially in the last song, endless nameless.

Finally an album I really like that I haven’t heard of. Lang has a beautiful voice and a good mix of songs and instrumental arrangements!

Lyrics were weird. Not a fan.

Vocal is terrible. Sounds flat. Songs are like a constant run on sentence. Glad when I finished listening to this album! “Don’t”. …. Seriously, is this music or just a lot of screaming. Sounds like a child having a temper tantrum or an adult with serious mental issues.

I normally am not a fan of punk rock, but this is one of the better ones I’ve listened to. I appreciate the diverse musical arrangements in each song and good lyrics. Thank goodness no screaming.

Enjoyed this soft pop Rick album. Favorite songs are… Do It Again, Reelin’ In The Years, Fire In The Hole.

Great guitarist, but I don’t like this type of music. Rated 3 because of talented guitarist.

Old Man and Heart of Gold classics. The rest of the album OK. Down beat and a bit depressing.

I don’t like death metal music. All the vocalist did was a lot of screaming. Sounded like a deranged toddler having a temper tantrum. Instrumentals had the banging beat throughout the album. If i listen to something like this for too long, it would seriously put me in a bad mood!

My 3 rating is due to N. Drake’s monotone voice. I would given the instrumentals a 4. I think I would have enjoyed this album more without his sad voice. Loved the mix of all the other instruments! (Violins, guitar, piano, cello, drums, bongos, xylophone) Each instrument featured in different tracks. My favorites were Man In A Shed, Saturday Sun, Cello Song.

Many of the tracks sounded out of tune. Musically not all that great.
