What a beautiful start to my journey. This album is definitely something I love. Always listened to funk and soul before punk came along and have recently started listening again. Beautiful songs on this album. 10/10
Love steely dan so very happy listening to this laid back tunes. Takes me back to my teenage years.
I have listened to the Rolling Stones but as much as I like some of their songs I found this album so boring. Just couldn’t get into it.
Whatever happened to Norah Jones? Enchanting voice, beautiful songs. I actually have this album. Not played it in years.
What an album. Great sound and great music. Van has such a distinctive voice and I really enjoyed it.
Had this album on cassette. Beautiful sound from the harmonica and such a distinctive voice. Really enjoyed it.
I saw the light- surprised it was Todd Rundgren. Never listened to him before and won’t again. That was the only song I liked. Got bored with each song and had to skip halfway through each one. Not my cup of tea.
Classic disco/ dance tracks. We are family, lost in music , thinking of you. If you like disco then this is for you.
Not my cup of tea. Swiftly moving on……….
One of my favourite bands with Ian McCulloch haunting vocals. Never had this album but discovered a few new songs I’d not heard before. Like the alternative versions too and I’m sure 40 years ago I would have been dancing to Never Stop discotheque version.
Listen to this album most days in our house. One of the greatest albums in my opinion. Love the music, love the band even without Hugh Cornwall. This was the start of many great albums to come.
Really not my cup of tea. Slow and boring for me.
Fabulous album. Love Madonna
Great album. Fast then slow. Soundtrack to my student ( mature ) days. Every song is a banger.
Bit slow in places for me even though I like Damon Albans voice. Not my favourite .
Never a big Springsteen fan but recently have been enjoying his music. This album has some classics. Dancing in the dark, Glory Days, I’m on fire and loved the final song My Hometown.
Listened to this 3 times. Fabulous album with great vocals from Robert Smith. The music is amazing. Always loved the cure. Xx
Always good music from Elvis. A few songs I’d not heard before.
Beautiful songs. How could I not enjoy listening to John Lennon.
Love a bit of 80’s nostalgia. Baseline is funky and vocals are sweet. My favourite scritti politti song was a few years before this but enjoyed the album.
This is in my record collection. Fabulous album. Great debut album. Alison was thought of as one of the first punk love songs.
Second best Damned album. Every song is a banger. Pogo to so many of them. Smash it up , Anti Pope , Love Song all great tracks. Love the maniacal voice of Dave Vanian in These Hands. An early goth sound.
Not a bad album but not Marley’s best. Stir it up was my favourite.
Annoying that I didn’t get to listen as I always love Eminem so I will still rate it.
Not my cup of tea.
Not my cup of tea.
Fabulous. Big Morrissey fan so loved every song. He can do no wrong
A few great kinks tracks.
Can appreciate different music and culture but not an album I would listen to.
Wouldn’t have listened to this before but I quite like the southern rock sound now and Free Bird is a classic. Goes on a bit though.
Not a favourite Bowie album but a couple of good songs
One of my all time favourite bands and album. Followed them on the two tone tour in 79. Every song is a hit.
Classic album. Not always been my thing but love some of the tracks now.
Crazy weird and odd. Liked first song Cool in the pool but not the rest of it.
Have always loved this album. Some great songs
I have all U2 albums including this one but this was definitely the last of the great U2. One is a beautiful song and the rest are ok but after this album it went downhill for them. Bono became too big for his boots .
Quirky voice and ok music but not really my thing.
Linkin Park to me are a mashup of punk and rap although the young generation may think different. I had to listen to this album when my son was a teenager so yes I love it.
Can appreciate the sound of jazz but doesn’t do anything for me.
