I can see how this was influenced by sounds that I do like, Trip-Hop, for instance. But this isn't for me.

Great album. Solid 8.5 out of 10. Clear highlights with Cinnamon Girl and Down by the River but also Everybody Knows this is Nowhere and Running Dry are excellent.

Somehow these songs are part of my DNA from my early 20’s even though I do not recall being particularly taken with this album. It was just part of the background, a cassette in the car, a CD in the bedroom, in a way that defies explicit listening.

This is not great. Some of the Latin stuff is cool but I dislike the party hip hop stuff intermixed with it.
