Led Zeppelin II
Led ZeppelinTotal vibe, even better a second time around. Led Zeppelin never disappoints!

Such a great album! Wish I was alive back then to see this live because I loved every moment of this album.
This was a hard miss for me. Really just sounds like someone grabbed some people in a room and told them to play whatever they wanted without considering what the others played. Don't ask me about lyrics because I couldn't tell what was lyrics versus the guitar.
This album...only having six songs, I feel like I watched a horror film. The songs made me confused, uncountable...it was trip for sure. Not sure what artistic direction the artist was going in, but I wasn't following it at all.
Only thing I can say is that the instrumental tracks is my favorite and the last track was unsettling with the commentary from the band.
The entire vibe of the album is sitting on the porch outside the city while holding a beer in hand. I hate beer, but I feel obligated to drink one while listening to this album. Meet Me in the Morning is a great song to just walk to or leave work to, but the following song, Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts, is so jarring with how bad it is compared to the previous song. I haven't a damn clue what's going on the entire 8+ minute song is about aside from it being about Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts. I may have lost sanity listening to this hot mess because a good minute of the intro is just banjo and harmonica and ends with harmonica. Thank god the album didn't end on this song. Ending with Buckets of Rain...yeah, no. I don't think I will listen to this album again if the only song on this album is Meet Me in the Morning. I'll just listen to that song and vibe.
Was a great album when it came out and still is. Feeling like it's 2011 again 👌
Really giving the 90s to early 2000s vibes. Not complaining since I enjoyed that era (and grew up then). This probably isn't something I would actively listen to. It's a mood for when I need to go through my emotions. Not My Idea is giving Persona 4 vibes during the chorus. I quite enjoy it since it's a fun turn from the calm, almost girlie pop tune that comes after it.
Sounds like aggressive folk music. I looked it up and it's Irish. I was about to comment how the beginning of this album reminded me of Flogging Molly. Went from aggression to clearly a drunk singing at the karaoke bar to probably the most stereotypical Irish sounding music I have ever heard in my life. I think Fiesta is the most...out of pocket song on this album. This is not something I will go back and listen to. In fact, I'm struggling to finish the album.
Zoned out during this album. It's a short album of 30+ minutes, but I enjoyed it. The ethereal atmosphere is calming and captures the 90s cityscape B-roll picture you would see during an intermission of a rom com movie.
I'm not a Kanye fan and I can't even understand the slang just because of how I grew up. He has good songs, but this album only has one song I can be okay with just because I heard it before in the past in the car.
"There's a midget standing tall..." this line took me by surprise 😂 this is from the first song of the album. Overall, amazing album! Would listen to the album again. The guitar solos really pop and the combo of lyrical songs versus instrumental only songs are a nice combination that isn't abrupt to the ears.
Can't go wrong with this album! Each song mellows me out from negative emotions. If I ever need to chill after a stressful day, this will be my go-to album.
Loved the instrumentals, but the lyrics aren't connecting with me. This came from an era of rebellion through music. Even back then, I didn't notice the lyrics and focused on the instrumentals. If there was an album with just the instrumentals, I'd love that, but unfortunately this album isn't that.
Not my cup of tea. It's a short album too, so I didn't notice I reached the end of the album.
Another short album of only 30+ minutes filled with poetic lyrics and a mix of melancholy instrumentals to cheerful romantic tunes, it's dominated by lyrical poetry with a few instrumental tracks that calm loud noise in the mind. It transforms it all to a more safe space that isn't harassed by negative emotions. Overall, it was an enjoyable ride with a few songs I enjoyed (mainly the instrumental tracks).
While I enjoy Queen's popular hits, this album blended in with the background for me. It was mindless background music that fit the nonsense conversations I was experiencing. This doesn't mean I dislike the album. I just didn't focus on the lyrics. The instrumentals were upbeat and fun, matching the conversations I held during the duration of the album.
This album...only having six songs, I feel like I watched a horror film. The songs made me confused, uncountable...it was trip for sure. Not sure what artistic direction the artist was going in, but I wasn't following it at all.
Couldn't really get into the album. It's just not for me.
This was a fun album. I listened to it twice just with how energetic the instrumentals are, well...more like nature energetic.
I'm not the type to go out and listen to rap/hip hop. I generally cannot keep up with the lyrics or understand the slang due to where I grew up. Overall, the album was okay. I tolerated it more than I would say Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
We are reliving the 90s grunge era with this one. It's a certain kind of atmosphere that placed me in an empty abyss of mindless thoughts. Great to listen to if I were just sitting on my balcony, enjoying the very thought of just existing.
I don't know why, but the entire album I have only liked half of each song and then dreaded the rest. It felt like Spectrum was throttling my internet and I'm rubberbanding across a GMOD map trying to find props in prop hunt. A very specific feeling, but I'm left with a partial satisfaction with the overall album.
First thoughts the moment I heard the first song was "Sweet Jesus, my brother in Christ, what is this?" The entire album is pure suffering and destroyed "Stand By Me", which is a beautiful song to begin with. If I could rate 0 or lower, I would. Shouldn't have gone solo, Clark.
Mostly depressing, but what really topped the cake was the last song ending with a lever being pulled, releasing the guillotine down on poor Margaret. I'm not okay.
A total upgrade after being subjected to depressing Morrissey's Viva Hate. Well-balanced between just solo instrumentals to 'too cool for school' vocals, I have bounced back from the depressing world of Morrissey. Most of the good vibes come from the strong guitar and bass lines, so credit is due. Side note: we love the whammy bar 😀 Thank you, Led Zepplin!
In general, rap/hip hop is not for me, but Eminem changes the game. His songs are fun and easy to follow. Sure, times have changed, but this album will always be on point. Though listening to this album at 8AM is an interesting choice I made 👌
Paper Planes is the only song on here that doesn't sound like incoherent noise. Not my cup of tea at all.
What started off as a chill way to begin my work day ended in realizing this is not the album to listen to while at work. Would do it again 😀
Gotta say, the album art was a jumpscare, but music reeled me in for a good time.
This was a hard miss for me. Really just sounds like someone grabbed some people in a room and told them to play whatever they wanted without considering what the others played. Don't ask me about lyrics because I couldn't tell what was lyrics versus the guitar.
Only thing I can say is that the instrumental tracks is my favorite and the last track was unsettling with the commentary from the band.
I don't think I can handle another British folk album. I might like one song, but this album just solidified that I'm not into British folk music.
While hearing the interview as part of the album is quite jarring for me (because it takes me out of the flow of enjoying the album), it's a fun album all round. Not sure why people get upset about a freaking flute in rock and made that big part of their review? I don't even remember hearing the flute because I enjoyed each song as a whole rather than suddenly focusing on one instrument. I had missed a day, but I'm glad I got to listen to this while working. It's definitely something I would add to a work playlist.
Beginning this album and I am yearning for the mines once more. All jokes aside, the ethereal, intimate sounds is enjoyable...to an extent. This is not everyone's cup of tea and their band name is very misleading to their sound. Cowboy Junkies sounds more like a group that has too much energy and needs an outlet. Instead, this album shows little to no energy in their sound, replaced by the echoes of someone who is being haunted in the mines because they had one too many sarsaprillas from the saloon before going to work. My personal opinion is mixed. It fits the vibe of when I'm in that cowboy era, but outside of that mindset, this isn't an album I'd preach about to friends.
This kept me afloat a stressful day. Didn't lose my temper like I usually do when my co-workers don't do things and I gotta play clean up. It's a chill album and I appreciate the calm tempo. No stress here ☺️🫰
It's funky, in a fun 80s kind of way. David Bowie will always have a special place in my heart and this album surely set me on a fun journey. We started off a little disoriented with Beauty and the Beast (was thinking Disney after reading an article), so had to listen to it twice to properly enjoy it. My favorites are 3 out of the last 4 songs of the album. I love instrumentals and those three songs were such a fun ride to keep me focused on my work.
Okay, this was a weird experience. Electronica itself is a fun genre for me, but this just gave PS2/PSP peak vibes. I felt like either I was racing or stuck in the world of Danganronpa. A very confusing, but not disappointing experience.
This is a tough one. Each song sounds the same...and I can see why this was their last album before disbanding. Doesn't seem like they put any effort. Also, 20 songs and they all sound similar? Big yikes. Update: I can't finish this album. This is a BIG no from me.
My opinion on Rod Stewart has always been "my mom likes this guy, but that might be a Filipino thing" during my childhood. First song in and this isn't something my mom would listen to. Then again, my mom follows trends, so let's see. Overall, Rod Stewart gave a mediocre performance with this. There were some good hits, but the entirety of the album is definitely just the middle between the best album ever and not the kind of album I would ever listen to. Not sure why my mom enjoys this artist. Probably the best notable song is the album's title Gasoline Alley...which leads me to believe this album needs to stay in Gasoline alley.
I love the chaos that is jazz 😀
It's a fun album. Sure time has changed, but considering this is her debut album and the 80s was such a creative and funky time, I enjoyed it! Definitely pushed me through a migraine. My exposure to Queen Latifah started with movies and then onto musical movies, so this wasn't a shocker to me to hear her rap. I wouldn't mind diving deeper into her music.
One hit wonder. 30 minutes I will never get back.
Haunting desert campfire vibes, except there's a depressing cowboy on the guitar that is trying to convey stories I just don't want to listen to.
Very experimental, but not bad. No, Laura Nyro definitely has ideas that is specifically tailored not to everyone's taste. Given the journey I have been on with this generator, this 1968 album definitely has been one of the better albums I have listened to from this era. It just occurred to me the year is from the late 60s when the album felt like an indie singer that probably released their first experimental album in 2024.
While I enjoy Careless Whisper and Faith as a stand alone, these album song titles make me uneasy as hell. Like, why is there two (2!) parts to 'I Want Your Sex'? Now without looking at the titles and the lyrics (a common thing I do), the music is very fun and funky. It's just that George Michael...I'm sorry but the lyrics are just...who are you trying to go at here?
I enjoyed reading the 1 star reviews a lot. Yall are funny 😂 Björk has such a talent to only use vocals as her instruments to set the tone of each track if she isn't using electronic midis. I ended up listening to the album several times throughout my day.
An okay album, I'll give them that. Not into reggae, but I can appreciate the lazy tempo.
Fun album and I feel like I'm going through gator country. My only issue is how short this album is. Funny thing: ended up holding an actual gator the same day
Starting as a strong 3, but the song 'Girl' made me so uncomfortable. The sniffing is way too strong. Smellivision is not a thing and my ear feels violated. Had I not listened to that song, this album would stay at a 3, but...I detest intense sniffing and I like the Beatles. This album was just not it.
Total vibe, even better a second time around. Led Zeppelin never disappoints!
This album isn't juicy at all. It's like I left the bottle in the fridge five months after the expiration date and was given this. There's a strong urge to abandon this album, but I pushed through. Just needed to take an 8-hour break once I reached Hokoyo.
So chill I didn't realized I moved onto a new album
Not special and unsettling. Play this in the backrooms and I'm sure I'll still off myself rather than finding a way out.
It's been a while since I heard someone speak Brazilian Portuguese, so this brought back memories. While I surrounded myself with chaotic energy, this soothed me from the massive nightmare of the previous album. It also improved my work efficiency 🧐
Initial reaction at the beginning of the album: am I being hacked? Then I realized the title is IBM and it's quite funny. Literally listening to the AI of IBM trying to communicate with me, but I don't have the braincells for it. The reviews are funny too, but this is such a weird album that I'm having a fun time with how out of pocket it all is. The more I find people calling this horse shit while listening to people whispering, some random European cursing in the studio, or just weird combos of sounds, I find myself having the time of my life. Towards the end, I will say it started to feel more like a horror movie, starting mostly with E-Coli giving 28 Days Later vibes. Overall, what a fun album to listen to in October!
Yeah, no. Just no. Nothing memorable and didn't even realize the album ended because no song was memorable.
Enjoyed the album. While I was in a state of stress, each song calmed me down to a mellow state. Great improvement from yesterday's album I can't even remember since it was terrible and I want to purge it from my mind.
Could go for some more green onions
Just ew. This man makes me uncomfortable.
Psychedelic pop is not my thing. Thankfully it didn't make me uncomfortable like The Divine Comedy's Casanova before this.
It was kind of a struggle for me. Not bad, but not great.
This album went a little too long for me. Fitting for its time, but not meshing well over time. Below par for me on this. Not sure what the group was aiming for when they wrote this album.
Another mid album. Nothing wrong or that great about the album.
Ray Charles is such a delight and relaxes the body from negativity. Having this album being 2 disks on Spotify, I had a wonderful morning.
It's a crime for this album to be only 30 minutes!
There wasn't anymore memorable about the album nor was it terrible. Another solid 3 from me.
Soothing and calm. Feeling pretty chill now.
I don't think I'm okay with this...having a guy scream R**e Me for a few minutes...I need therapy.
Cleansed my soul and ears after suffering from the last album I reviewed. I'm feelin' it now.
Hard to pay attention to when Flav be shouting "Yeah Boiiii" every five seconds in every song 😂
So completely forgot I listened to the album haha, but the constant reminder of death and how it comes for us all is quite dark. This might make my list of "Songs to Play at My Funeral".
Pretty mellow album, but it's not really the kind of album for me.
Never listened to Korn before. Low-key made me mad haha but it was like a clarity mad if that make sense, so I caught some things I probably wouldn't have cared for.
David Bowie always sends me for a trip I didn't ask for 🙂
There's nothing bad to even say about Aretha Franklin. The album set me up for a good day 😌
Um...okay, I love Snoop, but the constant references to d**ks and b**ls is crazy.
So I listen to an album a day, or catch up when I miss a day or two, when I'm at my desk job. This album is really putting me to sleep 😴 which is a problem when I have to be alert in a high demand desk job (too many people calling and walking up to me for help). This is not the album for that kind of environment. Probably would be better if I were drunk as fuck.
There was false hope at the beginning that maybe Bob Dylan would be better. I was wrong and I still feel like Bob Dylan is sucking out the soul from my body.
Wow, an album from the 2020s, that's a first! Overall, pretty great album. With slam poetry mixed with other songs, I feel calm. I will say at the beginning with Out the Lies, the quality at the beginning made me think instead of them shouting "Out the Lies", I heard "Ultra Lord" and I haven't been exposed to Jimmy Newtron in a long time 😂
Interesting album, though I'm confused on how I'm supposed to feel here. It was nice though.
I enjoy it though don't have much of an opinion to share here.
Such a beautiful album!
Didn't have much of an opinion on this one. I'm not saying it's bad. Nothing truly stuck out to me AND I don't remember really listening to it.
Not sure why people don't like this. Had this been recorded in a studio and not live, I probably wouldn't have liked it as much. Hearing a live album can sometimes amplify songs to how the crowd reacts.
Started good, but began to put me to sleep. 'Carry Me' to bed, thank you.
Such a great album! Wish I was alive back then to see this live because I loved every moment of this album.
Got garbage
I am conflicted here. It's so...in your face, but fun at the same time.
