Anyways, i do love this album. Especially side B. Time to Lady grinning soul is such a good run of songs. Drive in saturday is also one of his best evers.
That said its not as good as ziggy. Its a solid 4.5. I even think its not as good as station to station or Low. I think if it had john, im only dancing on like it was meant too it may have pipped a 5. Alas, i went 4.

Absolutely love tom. Love the dark and dingy blues. Love the beautiful twisted ballads. Songs like on the nickel and rubys arm are very beautiful and pretty. That whole run of albums is great, blue valentine, swordfish, rain dogs. I get his voice is a bit hard to get into but when you get it, ya get it.

Not my cuppa but clearly objectively good. “You know im no good” lyrics are great. Shoulda said “and sniffed me out like I was takeaway” though as i would have found that far more relatable. Rhyming door with roger moore is also a fantastic rhyme.
